Ample rest is needed, Michael. Keep hydrated and take your vitamins. Just a gentle reminder. Health is wealth.
You tell him Crissy
Filipinos are so resilient and they do not seem to let anything like bad weather or storms get them down. On the beaches here in the US once it starts raining on the beach everyone runs.
i agree
Wow that Drone footage of the boats was awesome❤
yep, that is trueTOO BAD IT WAS ALL STOCK FOOTAGE !!TAKEN FROM 2 YEARS AGO, BEFORE MIKE was even there and the music also.yep so thank the original pro, who flew over that armada that was in THE MIDDLE of the OCEAN. because it sure wasn't mike, unless they attached wings to him and stuck an engine up his ..and it wasn't no drone!!neither
I’m from Florida and we know how to prepare for storms and hurricanes. You should put everything above the bar to under the bar. Don’t throw away all the boxes the booze came in, use them to put the bottles in there. Put the boxes in the bar to hold it down. The chairs and bar stools can be stacked up double and tie them all together to form a big mass of weight to hold them down so they don’t fly around and destroy other things. Have the windows all boarded up. Buy a lot of long sturdy ropes. Good to have them around. When tying the chairs, make sure you make a loop into the chair before tying to another one . The tables, tie the legs together also for weight.
Wow . Tide comes all the way up . Crazy
crazy is as crazy does
I have not seen an Armada that awesome since being on Yankee Station off the coast of 'Nam back in the mid-60's. Fly Navy.
Dude, I would move the boat ramp to the far end of the empty lot and close it in at the restaurant like you planned.
from your lips to gods-mikes ears
I have a boat ramp at my house so no need for one here, the empty lot is not for rent so I can't build on it, I can however use it for special occasions in exchange for security and cleaning
Cool aerial shots of the boats
I liked the boat footage too.
mike flew over it himself holding his regular handheld-he's very dedicated.just to get that scene for his vlog
Great editing of the boats perfect music for it.
I like the music for it too.
me too
Do you have to maintain that boat access ramp for the city? You look happy Michael and Kat looks like she has purpose now. The Canadian Beaver is a Blessing in more ways than one!
❤John 3:16❤
yep so far!!2 or 3rd day only- yep no family group at a quiet restaurant there food conversing loves!! better than a boat slowly going backwards through your restaurant with men yelling and the engine noice!! and the fuel exhaust fumes while your eating your food and drinks!!yep mikes decided !!beaver bar ambiance.and it sucks and is disruptive no matter how you TRY to re characterise it!!
Mike may you prosper …the beach is most beautiful when it is stormy..God bless
Nice place🎉🎉🎉
Love watching your videos .they cheer me right up at the end of the day after work is finished .I'm in England ,UK.
It STILL blows my mind 🤯how the peeps can cook all those different types of food on just 3 burners and a slow cooker... Wow! 👌🏽
Go Chef Leo & Sous Chef , Jason? (I think it was Jason….) The glimpses of the food look delicious & hearty.
it blows my mind too!!especially no sort of deep fryer for the french fries,
Just bought them a dual deep fryer so they can do even more
@@ThatPhilippinesLife duel deep fryer!!better keep empty drums.fryers like that require a lot of changing of oil!! and away from the main cooking or burns are very likely
It is what it is,Big storm no problems
You stand back up and be jolly!
yep that is the right attitude!!
I am addicted to watching. Congratulations & all best wishes for your future to the 3 of you.
Loving all the updates on the Beavers pub & your house.
I hope you will keep doing updates from the Beavers. Watching from Wales 🏴xx
day 2 or 3
Wow so many boats 😮 is that a boat parade? Cool!
they are all out searching for mikes ex wife
@@honestbrokertko haha 😄
Hehehe😆
This is pretty cool but in the long run I think I liked your videos better when you traveled and seen new places.
Definitely getting back to it soon
@@ThatPhilippinesLife I love these business videos. Something different from you.
Everything Takes Time Michael. You All Are Killing It. 👍😎👍 Much Love from my small Iowa farm. 🇺🇸 🇨🇦

You can easily determine a good location for a beach property. If there are groups of mature trees it's a good area. If No or few trees, BAD CHOICE.
Dont forget that the location is the philippines, natural disasters like earthquake and typhoons are a thing especially at this time of the year so regardless of what beach he chose, he will encouter storm like these lol.
The typhoons aren’t so bad for those who have a quality built modern home, but unfortunately that isn’t the case with a lot of homes in the Philippines. Luckily, cheap construction usually means cheap repairs, even if you have to rebuild. Not at all like the expensive construction and repairs or rebuilding in the west. I didn’t realize this until going through Typhoon Odette in 2021. I was seriously traumatized by the destruction, including lots of trees blown over, because of my western thinking, but then I saw afterwards how easily people fixed or rebuilt their (inexpensive) homes, and I realized I had seriously overreacted (due to my western thinking). Poor people can experience a serious financial hardship due to the costs associated with repairing or rebuilding, but that has to do with not having any extra money, not the costs, which are relatively low.
@@King-2077 so what you are saying is mikes property is in a flood zone, like a lot of philippine beach properties
@@thefilipinojoe and when does it start to become expensive.not for mike he's filthy rich, but for the regular guy?!
@@honestbrokertko yep basically. Beaches will always encounter typhoons. Not just beaches, anywhere in philippines can experience this. His beach can possibly be a floodzone if they experience a very strong typhoon but that’s rare and seeing that the property is lifted, I think he should be fine but he needs to reinforce his structures in case there’s a strong typhoon.
That is really a Boat party, glad the Bar is having a good business coming in. Could not wait to try them in the future if I ever visit Philippines... Congrats everyone!
Love the music selection while showing the Philippine armada. :D
Also happy to see business is still going great at the bar. With that food selection, it's no surprise!
One good typhoon and goodbye Canadian Beaver! Hope you have insurance.
Sad truth. Especially at their location on the open beach, right by the open sea where most of the typhoons pass by during typhoon season.
Very exciting event right in front of you 👍
yeah, who doesn't like that
Cool drone shot footage of the boats. Looked like the Armada on D-Day.
The location is dangerous for tsunami. Good luck
Wow! Great shots of flotilla. Very interesting. 😀
very good shot
I have never visited Roxas, but I will return to the Philippines next week and Roxas is now on my radar thanks to you.
don't come soon, mike has gone to the place he hates- boracay and won't be back for 3 more days
plans for sunken seating area? storm surge?
Great job
You are doing so well! I am so proud of what you have accomplished. You got knocked down, you got right up and have done amazing things!
Happy to hear that the business is doing great!
Please take some time to rest as well 🙂
Michael amazing video looks like in the movie
Ode To Joy nice music, classic
Great idea about starting a bar! The name of the place is excellent! It's so good to see you guys winning in life! God bless!🙏
Awesome update, looks like The Canadian Beaver is doing really well. You are making me hungry showing the food...lol
Thanks for the video, Michael...Jim
Your resilience will be tested, but Pinoys are good at that! Good luck with the business and be safe!
yes,stay safe!!,day 2 and already a storm surge
Oh my gosh, your restaurant is a boat ramp launch
Great drone footage of all the boats Michael.
Looks like Canadian Beaver is the place to visit for good food.
rainy season is on
Indeed.
I want to see a menu of your food! love your videos!!
Congratulations. Everything looks great. I wish you and your family all the best.
It's a fluvial parade. Feast of San Juan/.And typhoon season is actually starting this month/time of the year. FYI.😊 Stay safe.☔⛈️🌬️🌊
yes,you are correct!!
That anthem is so cool Good Job. Good Luck
Drone ❤Million $ Shot 😊
Awesome brother 👏 ❤
Weren’t you planning on getting rid of that boat ramp? I wonder if there will be an issue doing that as it seems like it’s used a lot.
San Juan day is a yearly event...celebrated all over the Philippines!..If u visit Balayan,Batangas during San Juan they have a parade of lechon and every lechon is also wearing a different costumes!👍
Rainy and typhoon season soon
Can’t wait to visit here!
Congrats !! Great turn out !!
Thanks...😇
Congratulations the little one seems not go sleep at night
VERY CAPTIVATING SCENES !
Greetings Michael, just became a TPL member. I'm a snowbird from Fremont, CA will be in Iloilo next month and hopefully see you at Canadian Beaver. Watched your house renovation and Canadian Beaver opening very exciting and lots of fun. But please slow down, delegate some duties, good luck have a successful life!
Welcome to the club it's all very good advice trust me i'm setting it all up so that everything can run smoothly without the same level of effort
Unfortunately that is not a big storm. That's just a windy day here in Melbourne.
Hoping you can finish your renovation soon and make it strong.
Being on the coast like that puts you in the danger zone when a real storm rolls in.
You are the first contact or the powerful winds when they barrel in from the open ocean.
Crossing fingers that your business survives mother natures fury.
A better option would have been a full concrete/hollow block construction.
They tend to survive heavy winds better than bamboo structures.
All the best mate.👍
As always., be resilient.
Awesome job everyone 👏 going to be taking my first trip to the Philippines November hope to make a trip to visit y'all thank u for sharing 😊
Nice good menu
Wow so many boats
Well done to you both..pleass get an hours rest daily after lunch ..lots of garlic is good and before you sleep ..a shot of brandy or whisky with lemon honey and hot water ..🙏🙏🇿🇦🇿🇦
Your doing great 😊
Looking great,
That is crazy weather hope everything fine
Take care of your health..
I just wonder the security of your bar and resto? Its so open?
🚤 ⛴️ 🛥 Impressive drone coverage of the oceanfront BOAT PARADE, Michael.
Thank goodness, we know it's made up of friendly forces. Otherwise, it almost looked like Armageddon 🚢 ... or the filming of the "JAWS" sequel!! 😅 😅 😅
You are describing expansion into the driveway. Is there an easement for the boat ramp? The coast guard seemed to be using it as if there was public access.
Michael, watch your costs and don't expand too quickly!
mike is as expanding as a piece of flex board.
Great job and congrats on the business, just hope more dont pop up beside you. Im living in Nabas, about 3 hours away, ill have to come by for lunch sometime. is there a link to your location posted so others can find it too?
I love chilli con carne. Grew up with it and it was a always enjoyed on every camping and fishing trip. How about Sisig Nachos though? Yum. 🙏
Boy, those blinds are a lifesaver ❤
Awesome place you have there! Wow!❤
Nice Michael. Hopefully I can visit Roxas City. My hometowns are Iloilo City and San Jose Antique. Last time there was in 2019.
Great shot of all those boats raising.
Cool
Hi Michael watching from Toronto. Good luck on your business, food looks yummy.
Good idea keep events coming
and that was just a localized thunderstorm. I hope you guys will be safe/no damage to property when typhoon season hits. Properties facing the open seas in northern iloilo tend to be pretty damaged during typhoon season. Stay safe!
Very good
It will be nice to see hockey games played over on your bar. It is
a very Canadian Sports. Will be nice to introduce it to Filipinos.
Michael if you put a second & raise the roof where the fence is for sure it will look cool and an amazing business place to chill or stay.
Mike , I think you can try online food orders it would be a plus 🎉
Another great video.
Have you considered renting out stuff like paddle boards, kajak or similar?
Last time i was there i found baybay to lack any place that offerd water activities.
(i have a house in roxas myself and a lot for the future retirement plans. But more inland since im worried with floodings etc.)
How are your plans going to happen, with the boat access, i think you were talking about filling it in?
I was there when cyclone yolanda hit in 2013,the winds were gusting 318 kph your bar wont stand that kind of force, but they say it only happens once every 100 years ,its why i never brought a block there
Wow!! Looks like the Philippine Navy ⚓️🇵🇭 conducting military exercises.
from Montreal Quebec Canada
Enjoy here at roxas city 😎
Good work M, enjoy. In my cafe, we have a 4G Lte router running off a sim card. Always on even when elec is out as connected to solar and an inverter. I change the password every month, stops those who hang around just to use internet, neighbours etc. I love it by the sea, refreshing days. Doing great M.
Cell signal is bad at the beach sadly
Love it!!!!
Excellent!
Tyhoons now in the Philippines is much stronger the hurricanes in the US
You’re making me hungry…uhmm, yum2.
Is that a public right of way to the beach that runs through the Beaver ?
Reminds me of Toronto without the beach and the stage 😂
