I was first introduced to Ayu's Quallys Nusantara through iChang and Jimmy. Like you guys, Ayu invited them to a private dinner and if I remember correctly, she also cooked for them satay, beef brisket, etc. So when this was recommended to me, I clicked the Like button before watching the video (which is needless to say, very well done!) coz I knew it would be a treat (see what I did there 😉). iChang and Jimmy have ranked her food in 1st place in their top 3, I can't wait to see what yours is going to be.

Wow, you both just experienced what I'd say the most authentic Malay cuisine experience ever! It was definitely heavenly since it was home cooking and we all can see the cooking came from Kak Ayu's pure authentic heart! This is why us Malaysians really take pride in our cooking since we know our food is just heavenly and unbeatable. We know and love these rich flavours deep within our soul. Thank you for sharing this experience with all of us!

She's so organized & she prioritizes cleanliness. Not afraid to use A LOT of water to clean the ingredients and just like me I clean up everything (the pots, utensils...) in between cooking too! Messy kitchen makes me dizzy and when Im dizzy my cookings lacks love & honesty. Keep it up sis!

What I do know is that I consider myself to be well traveled and Kak Ayu's cooking is in the top 4 of the tastiest things I have eaten in my entire life. If you ask me they should give her all of the Michelin stars.
As to eating with the hands, I am a little familiar with it having been to India, but I am very self conscious and feel like a fool doing it in front others that are so used to doing it. I make more of a mess than anything. lol
