The montage was absolutely incredible, Laper Larden! The blending of sound effects from games like Call of Duty and Minecraft that some of the maps resembled was exceptional, and the transitions between maps were so smooth. I have not jumped into custom games yet as I have been working on a few personal projects and responsibilities, and I'm playing through Prodeus - an excellent game if you like boomer shooters. I aim to play custom games around Christmas or the New Year as I'll have a lot of time off from work then. I hope you are doing well.

I’ve been dying to play Ruby’s Rebalanced mods ever since I’ve laid eyes on them, with his newest version of CER in particular. The individual who lead the MCC team this past April I believe said he would like to do just that, so I have a good feeling even if it won’t be anytime soon.

Well, Halo Infinite may have Forge, but Halo 3 was a complete package that didn't want me to take my mom's credit card for some fucken armour and colour customisation.
I absolutely love the custom games browser, but it is unfortunately more of a fireteam browser without the ability to queue games and name lobbies One strength it has that suprised me is how great it is for playtesting- Whenever I make a new addition to my Desert Bus map, I just open up a lobby and it very quickly fills up, it's great for seeing how maps play in full without having to bug my friends
Happy to hear about the custom games browser and forge, but it's still so bad to play, the delay in getting a kill to just the game feeling off with its aiming and movement, I can't get back into it just yet. They need to get around fixing desync pronto

I played halo reach growing up, but never really considered myself a halo fan. In the last few months I've become one though, and it certainly wasn't new official content that brought me in. The fans and community staying strong and persisting through the 343 shitstorm of the last few years was really what made me think "this must be something special."
@@LaperLarden Yeah, that's not a fix. The mouse still feels like ass. All the update did was make keyboard play more like a controller. That's not what PC players want, otherwise we could just use a controller like console players. I went to PC to get away from aim assist mechanics, I've never liked them. I don't care if controllers have aim assist, I want 343i to actually fix the issues with mouse aiming.
My God where are all these amazing game modes and maps?? Every goddamn time I wanna play customs is just a group of people playing fucking paintball non stop, can I please please join n your sessions!
It's very dependent on the time of day, I've noticed. Sometimes just hosting a game yourself and waiting for people to pile in is the best option. Because they're sick of all the social servers and other crap too 😂

@@LaperLarden i trried for a solid 30 minutes or more and I couldnt get into a game lol So i just played a different game. Havent played halo in a long time. Probably wont be playing it anytime soon. Unless they add playable sangheili or a new campaign or something.

Been playing with mods on MCC more due to the CGB issues in Infinite. Just getting into a game is like pulling teeth. I did get to play some Infection finally, but the Bulldog makes playing the Infected unfun sometimes. Hopefully they drop the pump shotgun sometime next year.
