It's interesting that Keith, from the Boogie Man, found out during the investigation of Duke's house that David NEVER actually fired bullets while fighting the Crooked Man.

I found a cheat! When you're fighting the crooked man, get him stuck behind a table and just keep hitting him until it's over.

the orginal artstyle was better
like it matched well with the dark theme of the game
i cant explain it well but the new style just doesnt seem to match well

Nothing changes except for the ending, slightly.
After you beat the Crooked Man for the final time in the game (15 shots), instead of finding the Duke MacGahan's corpse, you meet him just before he is about to commit suicide by hanging himself in the attic. You talk with Duke for a while before he leaves for good.
From then on up until the point where Shirley and David reconcile, everything is the same. The only thing that changes after David and Shirley reconcile is that the ghost of Duke will walk past David and Shirley, meaning that Duke's spirit will watch over them as their lives go on.
