Heh, rather sixteen years to late ;) Perhaps it had to do with the limited run of this game that you never heard of it. Back when it was released the publisher, Activision started a lawsuit against Paramount as the Star Trek franchise was loosing interest because the latest series; Enterprise was not so well received. (it may be more Trek than Discovery and Picard but it was still a pretty average series) With the audience not being interested in watching Star Trek on television and in the theaters (Nemesis was a bomb) Activision felt or perhaps had concrete numbers that the number of sales of Trek games also declined. So during or after this lawsuit the decision was made to remove all Activision published. Star Trek games from the shelves such as Elite Force 2 and Bridge Commander. I find this really frustrating as for me the end of Activision Star Trek was also the end of a "golden age" in Trek games. I know how strange that sounds, especially seeing what Activision has become over the years since but under them during the early 2000s there were more good Trek games than bad ones (personally I don't hate Away Team, I consider it just to be average but I enjoyed it) We now have Star Trek Online that for many people scratches the Trek gaming itch but we have barely had any decent Single Player Trek games since.

Okay, from the stardates in the game, we know that this happens from Stardate 57026 (with a big gap between the arrival on the Enterprise to arriving at the Dallas.). till 57077. Now, I will admit that the game isn't exactly clear whether it's the same log entry, but there isn't another stardate on it.

Let's see, the first bonus level is a short FPS level that takes literally about 45 seconds to finish. One of the levels is a resident evil style game. One is basically a shooting gallery where you fire at starships circling overhead, which follow a fixed pattern. Several of the bonus levels don't even have anything to do, they're just rooms with character models for you to look at. That kind of stuff might be OK for extras, but not as something you have to work to unlock.
