The virtuoso rhythm guitarist here is Cliff White (d. 1998), longtime guitarist and bandleader for Sam Cooke. Known for his full chords and driving beat, Cliff joined the Mills Brothers when their regular guitarist Norman Brown was drafted in World War II.

The first guitarist was John Miller Junior, one of the brothers who also sang. He died in the mid 30s. And they had to get two guys to replace him - a guitarist, and his father, John Sr, as vocalist.

Yes, popular music's greatest quartet accompanied by the fabulous Ciff White, who later became musical director for Sam Cooke, the vocalist credited with pioneering "Soul Music," a gospel-flavored popular genre. A Walmart commercial uses Sam's version of "The Best Things in Life Are Free," recorded live in 1964 at the Copacabana in New York City. Providing the accompaniment was a band fronted by the sumptuous guitar of Cliff White.

@@UWalvern0810 that was the reason they said themselves in the mills brothers documentary back in the early 80s they had auditions for a bass singer because john jr died of an illness whille they were touring in europe but their father stepped in and said no worries i got it because their dad knew every song n was bass for his old group called kings of harmony.

This is from the movie "Reveille with Beverly" (1943) A wildly, wonderfully entertaining movie from WWII. Ann Miller becomes a morning disc jockey for soldiers. "Reveille with Beverly" also has Bob Crosby and his Bobcats performing "Big Noise from Winnetka", Duke Ellington Orchestra performing "Take the A Train" on a moving train, Count Basie Orchestra doing "One O'clock Jump", Freddie Slack (with the GREAT Ella Mae Morse) performing "Cow Cow Boogie:, and even Frank Sinatra (in white tie and tails!). ""Reveille with Beverly" - you must see this movie!!

    They Are Wonderfully in Singers.1971 in November,place = Sundsandvik/Vindön,Nötesund-Bridge,Orust,Bohuslän.
Time = 20.04-until-20.13 on Saturday evening.
There was thick Foggy dew at Northern part of Vindön.
But as it remarkable Disappeared,20.04-and a Yellow/Golden shining Vehicle
    was hiding in the foggy dew. At 20.13 a Man,with a Rifle,shoot two times,from
under the Discus shaped UFO. That was 20.13.
As we,5 persons= Uno Skälegård ( Died some years ago)
And Driver of the Car,Volvo PV 444,was Bert Kjelldahl.
And by his right side sat Carina Christensson.
And Me,Thomas Kallmyr sat behind Carina.
On my left side,Uno skälegård,and behind the Driver was Kent-Erik Christensson.
He is little brother to Carina.
As we travelled from Henån,this evening,me came some kilometers from Vindö-Marin-boat
    Company,theres a strange,changing channels on Berts radio....
And then an Intense Sound-many Frequencies at the same time, harmonic but strong..
And as it grew stronger-Bert tried to shut up the Radio-so he at last took away the FUSE.
He told us that we are about to see something very strange.
Lucky he forgot to Trim the Motor, before weekend,so Max speed was downhill from
southern entrance,of the Southern Bridge, leading to the Vindön-Tunnel....
We saw the Gigantic Ship Hoover at the Northern side of Vindön-mountain.
One Third of the UFO was seen,as we came from the souther n side, night was Black.
But the UFO just Quiet, and completely still hanging in the Night....
Just above the Nötesund-Bridge,in the Bright Colours of yellow-Golden.
When we had, aproximative was almost through the Tunnel,we heard "Klang- Klang".
it was the Bullits that hit under the Ship/UFO-the before mentioned man, that
shot from standing under the Wessel/UFO/Ship-20.13 o clock.
A Bright Light-enters the Northern opening of the Tunnel-the Motor Stopped exactly then.
It burned in the head,so strong this intense light was. It was an EMP = electric magnetic pulse.
But as we put off the gearbox, the clutch and without gear,as in Neutral.
We rolled out of the Tunnel. And we did not see the 5 or 6 white flashes of light, along the travel path, because we was in the Tunnel,at that Moment. But we did see the appearing Red ruby Glittering Whirling cloud. And also Seconds after, the Dark blue Star-miles away.
When that Blue Four Edged Star vanished,so did the Gigantic Red Luminouse whirling
    cloud imploded.
This is the Truth= Thomas Escargency Kallmyr, N.Hamngatan 11B,45130 Uddevalla.
