+Ashish Patel Yes i want to switch from my S6 but when i see other screens i'm like No way! So crisp and vivid. I want the BB Priv so badly. Let's see how this screen will do
personally I like my HTC One m8 LCD screen they really calibrated the best for me. AMOLED I'm kinda scared for the screen burns but Im keeping my Nexus 6 display down to 50% most of the time.
this is such a cool format you guys should definitely do this a lot more often. hilarious, realistic, and (seemingly) unscripted. I even wanted to watch the ad.
this is so good that you guys went with this format. 1. it covers more then one device and 2. it keeps the conversation going without getting bored. hell I have went and order the shaving starter kit!
You guys should do more dual commentary style videos. This was really entertaining. BTW other sites have stated that the 5x has some shuttering as well. So, thats a little worrying. I don't believe its the 808 since its a pretty good cpu and the G4 and X pure both have those and run fine. Must be an optimization issue or ram issue?
+WitnessG yh i was thinking the same since my friend has the moto x pure and he hasnt had any speed issues. im thinking maybe something to do with android marshmallow
+WitnessG the problem is probably due to the full device encryption. Nexus 6 got major improvements in speed when encryption was dissabled. and right now nexus is the only devices that has encryption.
I would personally like to see the nexus 6p next to either the iphone 6 or 6 plus just for a size comparison. Size seems to be the only worry im having about getting the 6p since im coming from a iphone 5 with a tiny 4in display.
Ive already looked up the info but seeing them beside each would be best because i have a couple friends, one with an iphone 6 and another with an iphone 6 plus
+Twin Turbo I think what he mean was the device dimensions rather than the screen size. As google has said in the event, 6p has similiar dimension with 6s while they are able to put a 5.7 inch screen instead.
I just leave my phone on auto-brightness and call it a day. I don't see why auto-brightness isn't used more often, because it goes from dimmest to brightest depending on the ambient light levels, and is never really wrong (at least on the G4). It keeps me from being in a situation where I can't see my screen.
by far one of my favorite videos by you guys. solid content and entertaining, but most of all the ad placement wasn't intrusive, it was fun and didn't felt forced. Much better than domain.com adverts. also love this format. You guys are friends and you act like you are just catching up about tech and I love that. great work
Okay, there is NOTHING better than a warm shave when the shaving cream is put on by a brush. Not only is it the best shave you'll ever get, but it feels so amazing too. If I were wealthy, I'd go to the barber shop every day to get a warm shave. If you haven't ever had one, go find a traditional barber shop and get one, you won't be disappointed.
I really miss the time when I used the Nexus 5, it was so good to have it, and all my friends also really liked how good looking it was. Nexus is always handsome.
Just a quick FYI for everyone from a current Nexus 5X owner. The double tap to open camera feature only locks your phone because by default the "Power button instantly locks phone" feature is enabled by default. once you disable it you'll be able to use your phone right after taking pictures without having to unlock your phone again.
First video I've seen by you guys, and I love the format! It was a welcome departure from all the other generic first impression content that's been put out today. Keep stuff like this coming!
This is one of the best TB videos I've seen, I'm loving this style a lot and you two had such great chemistry. Also, man I really want one of these. Likely the 6P.
I don't know whether you are continuously using it, but other reviews have noted burn in on the 6p amoled panel after as little as a weeks usage. Have you noticed anything on your 6p display?
I really enjoyed this format! It was laid back, but not annoying. You guys did a great job of staying on point and interesting, and when you strayed off occasionally it didn't really detract from the video at all. Overall, nice one :)
+Icarus975 Depends on what you want. I had it and it was great, but a few things put me off. First, native fingerprint support coming to android made the phone feel outdated to me personally. Secondly, the fit and finish on the unit I received was not perfect. Volume rockers had one higher than the other, and if I nitpicked a bit it looked like there were some small gaps at the top and bottom of device where screen meets metal. Third for me was SOT. Out of the box with brightness halfway (around 40-50) I would get 2 hrs 30 minutes...if you put on the adaptive brightness, which reduces screen brightness by a noticeable amount, I got 4 hrs 30 minutes on average. I would just get the 6p 64 gb and be done with it. If you need more space, manage for gigs and stick some of what you need into a cloud service. Removable battery seems to have fallen out of flagships for now too. I personally don't need either. I'd get a small quickcharge portable battery off of amazon- quickcharging essentially eliminates removable batteries for me personally.
Enjoyed the format, how does the battery life of the 6P compare with the (Nexus) 6? I game alot and have gone from fully charged to 60% in a few hours, only had the phone line 6 months.
How's the cell data signal? Does one phone hold an LTE connection better than the other? It sometimes seems that plastic phones have better cell signal
Hey, I'm looking into a Nexus 6 or a 6p. I can get a really good deal on a regular old nexus 6, but the 6 p looks so tantalizing. Are the differences between the two worth ponying up that extra arm-and-a-leg?
I loved it. having the one on one perspective was cool! the camera hopping back and forth was also a nice touch. well done. Ive been a fan for years. this was one of the best! thx for that. :)
Quick questions about the 6P. How long does it take to charge with the usb type c? It was mentioned about the 6X but not 6P. Also can you turn the camera shortcut off? Im paranoid it will start taking pics in my pocket! Thanks in advanced and loved the format of the comparison!
Preordered the 6P a while back, im hyped for it now. Also this format is cool it feels like it has more flow and character as opposed to a solo piece to camera.
@TechnoBuffalo How big does it feel? The largest screen I've used is of the S4's although I liked the way Note 5 felt when I tested it. Does the 6P feel similar to Note 5 when in pockets or when in action or is it significantly bigger to notice any discomfort? The Nexus 6 for instance is a beast and I'd hate to own it just for its size. Thanks in advance
This is an interesting style and I really like it. Its almost like a 2-way interview setup that complements back and forth. It would be very interesting to see if you each used the exact same phone and had different opinions on them and discussed them back and forth like this.
Nexus 6p has an Aluminum body and Gorilla glass 4... Should i buy a case, and if so what cases won't interfere with the fingerprint scanner on the back?
Lance from the At&t fan page here. Would you say battery life is better than the Nexus 6? Could the battery life be as good as an iPhone 6s or 6s plus? Thanks!
Excellent video guys and I really enjoyed the new format. Quick suggestion: after you guys complete your respective review videos you guys should get together again and do a versus video in which you each represent the device you've tested. Just a suggestion and keep up the great work guys!
Does the 6p feel it could slip from your hand and if I do decide to buy one ,would I need to put it in a case..I don't really like putting cases on my phones ,so if it's slippy I might just pass on it and go for the Moto X pure
[Mark appears alongside Jon in the hologram] Jon: This is my apprentice, Mark. He will find your lost flagship. [the hologram disappears] Me: This is getting out of hand! Now, there are *two* of them!
This is a fantastic format for videos. I think you guys really found something pretty cool here.
+HybridReacts yeah more like this please, all versus videos should be done like this actually
I second that.
+HybridReacts Indeed! Would love to see this kinda thing live, too.
Agreed
Agreed.
Mark and Jon compliment each other great together.
***** I was talking about on camera. Its something different and I like the new stuff they are trying.
complement*
+mcobb1205 Way better than that biased asian guy that no one gives a shit about.
+PAPASNARF!!! Right?! 😂👏
+PAPASNARF!!! Ikr! Wtf is he doing
I love love the style of this video! More of this guys!
+The iTech Lab no he doesn't
+Jordan McAnulty He doesn't work at TB anymore. If you watch Rumor Roundup he made an announcement!
+Mark Linsangan We miss you Mark L !!
I'll never forget you Mark
+Mark Linsangan Seem like everyone is a passer-by on TB.
I miss amoled too.... using Moto X PE, coming from last year's Moto X
+TechnoEnderMage yea there i hate regular ips panels once using a samsung samoled panel.
+Ashish Patel Yes i want to switch from my S6 but when i see other screens i'm like No way! So crisp and vivid. I want the BB Priv so badly. Let's see how this screen will do

Please make more videos like this! it's so realistic. just two guys talking about what they like and disliked about a phone I wana buy
I love this video format. I definitely want to see more. Versus battles would be interesting in this format.
guys u shud do this more often..this is an amazing format to pick out the pros and cons of day to day usage of any tech and compare them side by side.
You've got a friend in me. Lol. Great one.
+William Dove :)
+TechnoBuffalo not cool for him 2 use beavers they are living breathing creatures with souls
+TechnoBuffalo I hope no beavers were harmed making those brushes :)
+Sgt Pepper lmmfao
+Sgt Pepper i'm directly responsible for the demise of many badgers.
this is so good that you guys went with this format. 1. it covers more then one device and 2. it keeps the conversation going without getting bored. hell I have went and order the shaving starter kit!

I don't believe its the 808 since its a pretty good cpu and the G4 and X pure both have those and run fine. Must be an optimization issue or ram issue?
That's the only thing I can imagine. the 808 is a-ok on the X Pure.
+WitnessG yh i was thinking the same since my friend has the moto x pure and he hasnt had any speed issues. im thinking maybe something to do with android marshmallow
+taz874 or it's the 2 gig of ram
+taz874 on a nexus 5 and marshmallow has improved everything, its generally faster or the same than on lollipop. and it never crashes.
+WitnessG the problem is probably due to the full device encryption. Nexus 6 got major improvements in speed when encryption was dissabled.
and right now nexus is the only devices that has encryption.
I was dying at the Harry's advertisement
omg
I would personally like to see the nexus 6p next to either the iphone 6 or 6 plus just for a size comparison. Size seems to be the only worry im having about getting the 6p since im coming from a iphone 5 with a tiny 4in display.

+Twin Turbo there is no way I'm getting another iPhone. Don't worry Haha
Go to Phonearena's size comparison.
+Futureyeti 3 yeah about touch wise I'd rather not wait 6 months for an update
Whoa..you guys just pioneered a new format specifically for tech videos!
Please do this type of videos more often!
I just leave my phone on auto-brightness and call it a day. I don't see why auto-brightness isn't used more often, because it goes from dimmest to brightest depending on the ambient light levels, and is never really wrong (at least on the G4). jon has found a new favorite employe :P

Fuck, this video was so good i even watched the Harry's part
love this format and weirdly even enjoyed the ad lol. you guys should do this kind of style more for future videos. quite entertaining
I like the style of this video, hope you can continue whith it.
is 2 1/2 hrs of SOT good? Like how heavy was the usage?
I get 6 hrs screen on time on my Z2, a year old, that's good battery, not 2.5 hrs sot
*All of us guys do hand things lmfao ... Its life*
i don`t get how much the shipping of this razer stuff costs now. is it free or is it free.99 or is it 3.99 ??
I`m so confused.
it's free.
this is to acted out wow...
too*
Jon H thanks!
+Vito only the advert part. the rest seems natural.
I like this format guys! Raw, (could possibly be) unscripted but still structured, and laid back. Keep up the good work!
more of these styled videos! Format is very professional, yet sounds like when me and my friends casually talk about tech. Really great job here!
Actually enjoyed watching the ad...you guys were hilariously smooth with that!
Great format! Cool seeing more staff on camera in a video at once!
The format to this video was great. Keep it up. Continue to be the "go to" tech website and UA-cam page for me.
so when can we expect to receive our nexus 6p if we preorder it?
Hey you two need to do MANY videos like this! The chemistry and info given is amazing.

This is a really cool format. Idk why more channels don't do this
Do you think either phone will "need a case" with regular use?
how was reception? how was speaker quality?
Does the 6P feel warm after power usage?
First video I've seen by you guys, and I love the format! It was a welcome departure from all the other generic first impression content that's been put out today. Keep stuff like this coming!
This is one of the best TB videos I've seen, I'm loving this style a lot and you two had such great chemistry. Also, man I really want one of these. Likely the 6P.
what do you recommend upgrading to 6p or 5x coming from a nexus 5
Amazing new format. Wonderful and informative. Even the ad was entertaining and I normally skip through that!
I don't know whether you are continuously using it, but other reviews have noted burn in on the 6p amoled panel after as little as a weeks usage. Have you noticed anything on your 6p display?
Hi, could you give your opinion on your favourite colour of the 6P and also case options? Thanks
what is battery life without doze? Cause it seems like the Note 5 may have better battery life than the 6P once it gets the 6.0 update
nice video. love the collaboration and the unique approach to your first hands on experience. can't decide... 5x or 6p ... will stay tuned😊😆
This was pretty cool, I honestly didn't even mind the ad this time lol
I really enjoyed this format! It was laid back, but not annoying. You guys did a great job of staying on point and interesting, and when you strayed off occasionally it didn't really detract from the video at all. Overall, nice one :)
I like this new type of review discussion, trying something new and its pretty awesome. Hope to see more of this in the future!
Should I get this or the Moto X Style/Pure
6p for sure. x pure looks apealing but nexus ftw!!
+TOP 5 FOOTBALL but the 6p is kinda a no deal for me because of the no SD card slot and removable battery. So I might save up for the 128 GB version
+Icarus975 Depends on what you want. I had it and it was great, but a few things put me off. First, native fingerprint support coming to android made the phone feel outdated to me personally. Moto X
+TOP 5 FOOTBALL Moto X Pure Edition Great device!
but if your budget allows you to spend more! P6 definitely will satisfy in a few more area's.
Enjoyed the format, how does the battery life of the 6P compare with the (Nexus) 6? I game alot and have gone from fully charged to 60% in a few hours, only had the phone line 6 months.
How's the cell data signal? Does one phone hold an LTE connection better than the other? It sometimes seems that plastic phones have better cell signal
are you able to activate the "ok Google" command even when the screen is off on the 5x/6p?
would you say the front camera on 6p is as good as the back on nexus 5?
Hey, I'm looking into a Nexus 6 or a 6p. I can get a really good deal on a regular old nexus 6, but the 6 p looks so tantalizing. Are the differences between the two worth ponying up that extra arm-and-a-leg?
Really like this set up of impression videos, especially since there was good back and forth and everything. Great video!
Hey there! i want to if the black one attracts more fingerprint smudges. What is your personal experience?
With the Nexus 6P, can you turn the screen on without the fingerprint sensor or side power button (i.e. by tapping the screen or something like that)?
I can't seem to find it anywhere and nobody's mentioned it in a video that I can find; does anyone know how many fingers Nexus Imprint can store?
Nice video!... Mark how are you liking the gear s2 you are rocking?
Definitely my favorite TechnoBuffalo video. Absolutely love this format!!
what does the back of the 6p graphite feel like? Matte?
Great format guys, thumbs up. Didn't mind the advert it was refreshing to see something different, it was way to long though lol
i like this format for videos, it feels very engaging and natural.. you've got a friend in me.
I loved it. having the one on one perspective was cool! the camera hopping back and forth was also a nice touch. well done. Ive been a fan for years. this was one of the best! thx for that. :)
that was really slick the way you worked in the ad, I like you two's chemistry
Quick questions about the 6P.
How long does it take to charge with the usb type c? It was mentioned about the 6X but not 6P.
Also can you turn the camera shortcut off? Im paranoid it will start taking pics in my pocket!
Thanks in advanced and loved the format of the comparison!
meant 5X not 6X ...oops :D
Preordered the 6P a while back, im hyped for it now. Also this format is cool it feels like it has more flow and character as opposed to a solo piece to camera.
Really enjoyed this style of this video. The combination of information and entertainment go really well together. More of these types of vids!
This is so much better than watching 2 videos, you guys made it really fun, definitely more like this
This is awesome. Kinda like a mini podcast but with only one quick topic. Do more of these!
how's the feel of the nexus 6p in the hand
@TechnoBuffalo
How big does it feel? The largest screen I've used is of the S4's although I liked the way Note 5 felt when I tested it. Does the 6P feel similar to Note 5 when in pockets or when in action or is it significantly bigger to notice any discomfort? The Nexus 6 for instance is a beast and I'd hate to own it just for its size. Thanks in advance
Great Video I love this setup when you guys sit here with each other talking about tech.
Can you register more than one finger print for the sensor? Such as both index fingers for us ambidextrous users.
How's the s2 classic treating you
How's the speakers?
What about the speakers? how does the nexus 6p stereo speakers compare to nexus 6 and HTC boom sound speakers?
This is an interesting style and I really like it. Its almost like a 2-way interview setup that complements back and forth. It would be very interesting to see if you each used the exact same phone and had different opinions on them and discussed them back and forth like this.
I really enjoyed this video. The format is great, you guys make a great team. Very enjoyable to watch! Keep it up! 👍🏽👍🏽
Nexus 6p has an Aluminum body and Gorilla glass 4... Should i buy a case, and if so what cases won't interfere with the fingerprint scanner on the back?
amazing format. well done you guys! the edition was also really enjoyable to watch.
awesome video! we want more of these ! loved that moment u guys had 😂
Please do a speaker comparison between the nexus 6 and the 6p!
I totaly agree that this is an awsome format for review!! Really nice and relaxed, and informative!! Keep this up!!
ok this format makes watching these videos even more fun, please keep it coming. 👍👏👏
Android authority's video said that the 6p took 2.5 to 3 hours to fully charge. How long did it take yours jon?
how are the speakers?
love this format! it really shows of the chemistry in your work place!
Just a suggestion and keep up the great work guys!
love this style, keep it coming. These types of discussion/interaction are great
Now THAT'S how you put in advertising and still keep it a cool video!
Does the 6p feel it could slip from your hand and if I do decide to buy one ,would I need to put it in a case..I don't really like putting cases on my phones ,so if it's slippy I might just pass on it and go for the Moto X pure
[Mark appears alongside Jon in the hologram]
Jon: This is my apprentice, Mark. He will find your lost flagship.
[the hologram disappears]
Me: This is getting out of hand! Now, there are *two* of them!
Why did you disable your latest video.about the Htc m9
Can the Nexus 6p connect to a USB-C to HDMI adaptor or does it work with the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter?
I really like this video layout and format. It's like a good, constructive conversation. Please keep doing this!
does Wi-Fi direct work, it won't be like how it was in nexus 4 & 5 right.
