20+ years ago my buddy had a '72 f250 highboy.....we used to wheel the shit out of that beast. ...she was unstoppable literally. ...390 cu inch 4spd. ...this truck brings back soo many of those memories. ..thanks

When I was a young adult in the 90s, I used to notice driving on the streets or at the light a 1967 to 1972 ( I had a 1970 ranger xlt in those days so I knew the shape for these models ) crew cab bump side truck that was white in color, was a six wheel truck. 2 front wheels and 2 wheels per side of the bed .Not like a dually but like a trailer . It had a bed with seamless mirror image two wheel wells per side with small space in between each well and it had " iron mule " decal or perhaps paint on one side or both . I haven't seen this truck since the early 2000s. I've never seen one like this since other than modern era examples of a 6 wheel truck. If this truck was a custom shop made truck man would have been a entertaining video to watch if it would have been filmed.
Wow, this is incredible. Like fusing together 2 separate million piece puzzles into one giant puzzle that some how works flawlessly. And it looks like you’re basically a one man operation.

Isn't that the motor that Ford people bash a lot? I watched this because a daydream I have is pre1998 crew F350. The local surf shop had one when I was in high school and it was the baddest truck on the planet to me. It seemed enormous up close but by itself and at a little distance, it was so well proportioned on the big tires with the lift. It's still my favorite lift look today. Like it could have come from the factory.
Very cool project. I'm a wee jealous. Oh and I like the tailgate too. Before you said anything about it I was already thinking it was a cool touch.

i have a 74 f100 ranger and when dmax ryno showed this truck i instantly came to ur video of all ur details done with this build you gave me a lot of ideas i want to do with mine making it more modern. the tailgate is what caught my eye and the star headliner

One of my top five dream vehicles. I was thinkin 5.9 p pump Cummins but the 6.7 powerstroke is proven it’s self so I’d leave it alone, love the truck man!!

First CrewCab I’ve seen that corrected the rain gutter to follow down the rear door contour like the factory single cab , I’ve never like the way the rain gutter goes straight over the C pillar and top of rear windshield, man looks beautiful well done 👍🏻

I would love to do this to a bullnose IDI rig, also duramax and square body. More practical than modding old engines on old frames when you can have the modern power plants and legal emissions, it’s way more unique than the generic new truck mods like just rock lights and lift.

If I was you I would do a build series you have almost 700 subscribers and more that would love to see the progression there’s nothing like that truck on UA-cam you have a monopoly capitalize on it!

Wow what a freaking bad ass build !!! I have a 76 f150 that I'm in the process of building now and it's going to eventually be getting a 7.3 diesel and zf6 or zf5 manual in it but I'm not sure if I should try to use the 76 frame (which is in fantastic shape) or just use a newer 7.3 frame. Super bad ass truck though for sure has to be one of if not the most bad ass 68 Ford pickup for sure. I love the fact that you used a 6.7 diesel also. Super freaking cool build.

It amazed me how close a lot of both or all the trucks fit together. I would have thought nothing would have been close great job! I love those old trucks I had a 70,72, and a 68 should kick my own a$$ for getting rid of them but at the time thought I would have another. Now my pocket says no not happening 😭!

I did a similar build with a 69 c10 and 2012 GMC half ton, but kept the old interior. I have a 73 crew cab I have been wanting to go this route with. I'd love to pick your brain on some things if you wouldn't mind answering some questions.

Thats a beast of a truck, I would drive that any day. I had those rims on my 98 Chevy crew cab but than the barrings for the axle was warned out and bowed the lug nut holes, the front was good but the back was fukd. Nice truck man, wish I had it, Honestly. ; ^ )
