Im binging Jacks birth videos anxiously awaiting your Part 2 of baby girls birth. Sarah you're an absolute Rockstar! Not to mention Derik is the most supportive husband ever! You guys are seriously an awesome couple!
Derik iS holding Jacks neck and supporting his head properly. Some people just like to think young parents don't know what they are doing. PLUS, you both have mothers if you have any questions let the grandmothers give you feedback and answers before strangers. Your both doing great!
Jack is gorgeous and I love his blonde hair and so much of it. He looks like you both ❤️Jack is a lucky little boy to have such loving parents who brought him into this world. Enjoy Jack and take lots of photos at least one a day they grow so quick! Don’t forget the videos lol stay safe lots of love for you all be safe.🥰
You kids are doing great,,don't let silly people say ugly things ok.wen they do. Just let it all go. Keep loving keep moving . You guys are doing great.
Congrats, guys!!! Jack is soooo cute! Also, Sarah looks super good with bangs! I know it is because of postpartum, but it really looks like she got it professionally cut. Love you both! 💕
I had a very similar birth experience just a few days ago! Hearing your story makes me feel so much better. I went into the hospital at a 7 and I felt everything on one side and I felt all the pressure as well:( I even felt the ring of fire and I didn’t sleep for 3 days prior because of laboring at home, and just being anxious days before! I literally had such a similar experience it’s insane! Hoping my second kid is as easy as sunny was for you! I also decided to formula feed because my son wouldn’t latch and I have a lot of mom guilt about it, but I know fed is best and my mental health is also important. I could’ve exclusively pumped, but my supply was low and I would cry everytime I pumped I felt so helpless:( I’m not sure if you breast feed or formula feed, but in a more recent video of sunny I saw a baby brezza and it honestly made me feel so so so much better. You guys are amazing!!
You were right to get to the hospital when you did. By the time I got to eight, after a very long labor of 20 plus hours, it was only a matter of minutes until I was at 10 and delivered. Congrats. What a lovely family. IMO they waited much too long to start the epidural. The area I live in starts the epidural after you're 3 or 4. Maybe that has changed b/c that was 20 years ago. Many blessings.
LOL 10 points. I saw you on the shorts, now I'm binge watching you guys. You're all so cute. 😁💜 I'm also from Salt Lake. It's good seeing fellow Utahn's 😊
I was married for 15 years and I had 3 miscarriages , I just wanted to let you know that you both are brave and Sarah you looked beautiful giving birth! Great job making Jack, he’s so handsome and adorable 😍! Love 💕 his big blue eyes 👀!
Being pregnant and having a baby is the easy part... raising them is the hard part! But I’m older and my kids are older and I truly miss those days. I loved my babies and being a mom and watching them grow. I’d give everything I have to go back in time. As far as being a grandma I will probably won’t be. Older sons wife can’t youngest sons wife has been to the doctors and nothing so far. Love your adorable family!
We have two grown sons that day they are perfectly happy being single. So maybe not meant to be. We do have an 18 year old granddaughter. I will pray for you and daughter inlaws and your family. Matt 19:26 "With God anything's possible. " Believe
I remember when I had my daughter, I was in labor for 4 hours and pushed for an hour. My labor and delivery was so traumatic it turned me off completely to having more kids. They refused me the epidural at 7cm because I went from 3 to 7 in an hour. I ripped, had a full blown melt down. When she came out, she was blue. She spent a week in the NICU and they never figured out why she was born not breathing. Because of how perfect my pregnancy was and my labor and delivery, and how my baby came out and almost died for no reason at all, turned me off to more babies. Those mamas who can have more than one are saints. Because I couldn't do it !
Don’t listen to social media comments especially UA-cam wanna be Pediatricians. You are the parents and they are not . Don’t even address them . You guys are wonderful parents with a beautiful healthy baby . Congratulations to you and your family ❤️
I feel like they are anxiety yawns. It looks like your trying to get more air in your lungs. I have asthma and anxiety so I've done this kind of yawning my whole life. Just a thought
You two are a breath of fresh air I have three kids all are on the spectrum meaning ASD however they are grown my eldest is 23 and is an adult with Aspergers -Tourette’s syndrome and agoraphobia disorder he lives in my home and I take full time care of him , my second is 15 years old they have ASD-ADHD they were considered severe with blind rages and was kicked out of every church group, school and any therapy group in our area that we lived in at the time between the ages of 3-10 however they are also very good at dancing so I put them in Ballet, jazz, tap and acro and they competed in competitive dance for 5 years and won first place and many scholarships around the world to dance. Then my son “ Lola Haze” I put in quotes came out to me as gay and since then they went from he to she and her and now she is doing so much better. She seems happier She still has her moments because of her mental health challenges but I think now that she feels more comfortable knowing that she does not have to hide her identity she’s more relaxed. Then I have my youngest who is 11 she has ASD-ADHD-PICA, which is a disease which causes you to crave non-food items such as garden soil, grass, plants, trees, flowers, paper, toilet paper, glue, marker ink, crayons, paint ect it’s very dangerous because she could poison herself if she consumes something with substances that are not edible. My house was always baby proofed from the day she swallowed 60 fish oil vitamins and they broke open in her mouth she chewed and swallowed them all😢she was air lifted to Sick kids hospital because it was considered hazardous she was only 2 years old and they had to pump her stomach to retrieve them since that day we had to put locks on everything I go through toilet paper daily because she still finds ways to get it even though we hide the rolls so my point is. Your videos are refreshing to watch. After my long hard day, I watch them, I smile through them, I laugh, I think sometimes what it would of been like to have it so easy but life is never easy and even though it may look easy to some people viewing the videos I know that life is life and I know being a mom is hard even if you are a billionaire it’s still hard even with two parents it takes a village to raise a child I’m thankful for my village that I had or have now that support me if and when I need them. Some days are harder 😢than others some days I want to throw the towel in, some days I think to my self God gave me these kids because he knew I could handle all that he gave me I can love them no matter what they do or say❤I will always be here for them. ❤good luck I can’t wait to watch Jack Grow up and I cannot wait to watch your other videos
@tabitha7161. Hello thank you for sharing your story. What a fabulous mother you are! Can I make a suggestion? I think you should write a book about your life, all the experiences you had, and what you do to make things run smoothly, if you can. It would be a best seller, the way you explain things is bloody amazing. Cheers.
They say that gravity helps a lot with helping the baby through the birth canal during labor. Giving birth on one’s back can be the hardest supposedly. Doulas and midwives can help position you so that it’s more helpful for you. Cheers!
Yeah, i never understood why laying on your back during labor is the norm. Did you see that video of the woman who couldn't make it on time to the hospital and gave birth while walking across the parking lot? The baby basically flew out! Giving birth scares the crap out of me, and if i'd get pregnant i'd choose to have gravity make the birth easier/quicker
OMG!!! Jack was born on my B-Day October 17. Jack is such an adorable baby. I’m a grandmother of three beautiful kids. One boy 8yrs, two girls 2yrs, and 10months. I was able to witness both births of my two children. But Covid-19 restrictions didn’t allow me to their with my last glamdaughter. I was a nervous wreck. Thank God for FaceTime. I was alone and all I really remember is they wouldn't let me go pee and said to just pee on the table, which infuriated me, so I hurried up pushing, jumped off the table to go potty. It was actually really funny thinking back. Anywho, I love you guys and I now will return to my binge. Love Aunt Mal...

Derik you freaking crack me up with your pain tolerance! When you said you would have went to the hospital if you were dilated to a one I couldn’t stop laughing 😂 your hilarious 🤣
I'm hearing you....got epidural 12 hours in with my first and pushed 3 hours and your body is absolutely exhausted and was throwing up from the exhaustion. You did a marathon girl.... posterior is so painful!
I didn’t have time to get an epidural when I had my son. However, I had to get essentially what is an epidural done when I got my hip replaced. The guy who did it was SO great! I didn’t even have to see him prep it and they did a local anesthetic prior to putting it in, which honestly hurt enough so I can’t imagine how bad a needle like that in your spine hurts without it! But can definitely tell you had one done after it wears off cuz damn was my back so sore for a few days afterwards from that needle. I definitely wouldn’t want to know how big it was either! 😮
YOU BOTH ARE AMAZING 🥰❣️ You guys had rough start, but you have a wonderful son🥰❣️ You are AMAZINGLY BLESSED🥰❣️ Jack is so HANDSOME 🥰❣️ I had ALL 3 of our kids at CASTLE, they're a GREAT HOSPITAL👍🥰❣️ Our youngest is now 18!!! He just graduated from High School!!! 💞 ALOHA FROM HAWAI'I 💞 🌹 LYSSA 🌹
That happened to me with the epidural! And then i had to have an emergency c-section, and i had a complete mental breakdown because I thought i was going to feel them cutting 🥲🥲
My mother had to have an emergency c-section because my oldest brother was way too big... My mother passed out pushing after hours and hours of trying natural. Then when she was getting a c section the dr. said "I am going to pass out" and she fell backwards. She was pregnant and hadn't tell anybody. My father (a proctologist) who was watching, noticed that getting a doctor would take enough time for my mother to bleed, risking to loose my mother's life and the baby's. So immediately he finished the c-section himself. It was his first c-section surgery... thank god he paid attention in his ob/gyn rotation. He did it perfectly. Until this day I can't grasp how stressful, nerve-wracking, soul-crashing that was to them. Imagine going to the hospital thinking you are having a baby and hours later deal with the fact that you may loose your entire family there 😣
The good nurses/doctors will give yiu just enough epidural to take the edge off the pain but so you can still feel the contractions so you know when to push. The pain goes from stabbing pain to pressure pain.. if you felt mostly pressure after epidural you had it right amd it worked like it should've
Your videos popped up while doing dishes and they have been fun to watch. It has been a sweet reminder of lots of things from years ago. My husband and I had a swift romance. We just KNEW it was right and got married pretty quick. I think of how fast it all happened now and I can’t believe it. 🙃🙈. But it has worked out for us. 🤷🏻♀️. Five kids and 17 years later. And my first labor was similar in that the epidural didn’t work but I wasn’t sure at the time because it was my first! (Although my first wasn’t posterior, my fourth was but my epidural worked with that one! Having a posterior baby for me was a LOT of difficult). Anyways, it was super painful when he put the epidural in and had to do it several times. Which maybe should have been a sign. But I was in labor at the hospital for about 13 hours and I couldn’t sleep because of the contractions kept me up, despite the epidural. By the end I was delusional and tired saying the weirdest stuff to the nurses. 😂 And when I could finally eat again the burger and milkshake at the hospital tasted like the best meal I had ever eaten in my life. When I was going to have my second child I had pretty much decided on not getting an epidural at all because of my first experience. But a nurse talked me out of it. 😂 and guess what?! it was barely painful going in. And then the epidural kicked in and I KNEW that the first epidural didn’t work. I kept saying “This is heaven! I will never not get an epidural!” And I have got an epidural with every pregnancy following that! The end. 🤪
If he was hurting the baby would be crying not laughing from what I saw he was laughing. yeah they didn't have it in right because you shouldn't of felt anything not even on one side.I had two epidurals and my third baby I had her so fast eight minutes after I got to the hospital so there was no epidural with a third. honestly it was really good that Derek got to experience that it strengthens the love between you both and it builds a bond, when couples don't have that I believe it hurts things
Greetings from Wales 🏴 Love your channel. **Jack** is so handsome cute Loveable. His hair should have a Channel on its own... Much Love to you all. Hope your journey in life is blessed. XXXXXX
I'm confused as to why they didn't just break your water themselves? That's what they usually do to get things going stronger!! Kudos to you Sarah, your so strong, hanging in there til u were almost 9 cm..You guys are so sweet and your baby is adorable❣❣❣ I'm definitely a fan of your channel ✌ My daughter had the same thing with my grandaughter where she pushed for 3 hrs until they fineally cut her to help her deliver!! It was so traumatizing for me...lol and of course my daughter. When she fineally pushed her out, my daughter and I were touching foreheads and I was telling her to get mad and push hard and she did it..I found myself pushing with her..lol. I had all c-sections so it was amazing for me to watch my child give birth...women are so strong!!!!
I hate epidurals. My last epidural didn’t work, when they put it in they hit my spine and I’ll never forget how bad that hurt. Then he realized he put it in upside down and had to flip it, that also hurt bc it scraped my bones. It didn’t even work. I could feel every tear and I got that baby out FAST bc of how bad it hurt. It took me three pushes. Thankfully she was only 6lbs. I wish you guys the best I love your videos so much.
When Sarah was talking about folding an putting away baby clothes it reminded me of my Mom telling me I was feathering my nest! Mom was so old fashioned!!!!!! LOL
You're so blessed you can go through this together being first time parents. My first child was born far away from my family at army hospital. I came home for first time with my new baby to find our apt was totally trashed from my husband (now ex) who had a party in celebration and cheated on me

Awww jack is adorable 😍
Thanks Sophia!
And then i had to have an emergency c-section, and i had a complete mental breakdown because I thought i was going to feel them cutting 🥲🥲
ahhh that's so crazy! I hope everything was okay!
Imagine going to the hospital thinking you are having a baby and hours later deal with the fact that you may loose your entire family there 😣
Aww he is so cute congratulations
Thanks!!💛
you are such a strong person baby jack is sooooooo cute
You are so sweet thank you!!
To me he has Sarah’s cheeks and has his dads nose 🥰 he’s so adorable ☺️
TOTALLY agree!! Thank you :)
Hey guys love your vids! Jack is a cutie! I have baby fever
Thank you! You are so nice:) Babies are the best!
The good nurses/doctors will give yiu just enough epidural to take the edge off the pain but so you can still feel the contractions so you know when to push. The pain goes from stabbing pain to pressure pain.. if you felt mostly pressure after epidural you had it right amd it worked like it should've
Cute family welcome baby jack🥰❤️❤️
Thanks💕💕
Derik talking about the point system made me LOL 😂😂😂😂
The end. 🤪
Awe I'm so happy to hear that! SO crazy that you had a similar experience! Definitely hope it works better the second time hahah😬🙏
"He was forced to watch" lol! I love birth stories!!
Your videos are addicting and you're both so funny😂😂
Most important points of.your life...THE BEST GAME...JACK💖🙏🕊
If he was hurting the baby would be crying not laughing from what I saw he was laughing. yeah they didn't have it in right because you shouldn't of felt anything not even on one side.I had two epidurals and my third baby I had her so fast eight minutes after I got to the hospital so there was no epidural with a third. honestly it was really good that Derek got to experience that it strengthens the love between you both and it builds a bond, when couples don't have that I believe it hurts things
I just like your videos, i love your family, Jack is the cutest i love him :) so precious
Awe thank you 🙏
@@SarahAndDerik Thank you for the reply.More vids please:)

Jack is so cuteeeeeeee
Thank u! :)
You guys are the cutest! Congrats on your lil baby.
Thank you! 😊💕
Great Job You 2 😇
I'm confused as to why they didn't just break your water themselves?
Good for you, proberbly keeping moving helped. That's so weird that you get to choose for epidural, in NZ we only get one if it's really bad.
10 POINTS I CANT BREATHE🤣❤
So sweet to watch 😍😇😇
LOL
You were NESTING.
Nesting is a very typical urge not your mom being “old-fashioned.” 🥰
You guys are so cute 😍😭
💛💛
You are both my favourite content creators I’m not just saying this for you to reply jenualy (sorry for the spelling) keep up the good work
This made our day! Thanks!
Love his beautiful eyes
I have 7 kids and I was the same everytime I get to the hospital in like 8 or 9 cm dilated it's crazy how much your body can take!
Two more points! Lol, you guys are hilarious. Greetings from Ibiza .
You're so blessed you can go through this together being first time parents. My first child was born far away from my family at army hospital. I came home for first time with my new baby to find our apt was totally trashed from my husband (now ex) who had a party in celebration and cheated on me
OMG… “just 2 more points…” I’m dying. 😂
Sarah and baby are identical 🥰they are both beautiful 😘
