    The 5.11 is made from 1050D nylon which is WAY stronger than the 900 polyester.
    Also from all the reading up I done on both materials Nylon is a lot more expensive and that is why many companies use polyester.

    Absolutely excellent compare video. 👍👍 I'd go with the LAPG any day.

      On any given day you will find that you have picked up a backpack made of inferior material.

    Wore out the LAPG bag in 3 years. Now carrying the Rush 12 for 2 years. I like the size and back pads on the LAPG better but the construction of the Rush bag is rally superior.

    Great side by side! LAPG has been creating some nice stuff in their Atlas line.

    Great showing, thanks. I'm heavily vested in 5.11 gear mainly in Rush72 and 24 size packs and was looking for an alternative for new items I will be storing. Didn't want to go the Condor or Drago route. I will give LAP gear a try, didn't like their pants compared to 5.11 because the LAP was thinner but this pack will mainly be stationary for a storage pack.

    I have had the rush 24 original for about 2-3 years now and was thinking of getting a rush 12 2.0. you changed my mind because of that rmp you had inside the LAPG.

    An all-encompassing comparison, but due to neither their material nor their size, the pairing is not appropriate.
    I bought a RUSH 12 for my son as his school supplies no longer fit in the Helikon-Tex Raccon 2 backpack. Although I don't remember LAPG being available in Europe, so it wouldn't have been an option either.

    Thank you for the side by side. One would think they would be identical except the molle when looking online with no knowledge of this video. Especially the made in Vietnam part. It would be easy to imagine the same sweat shop pumping them both out, just swapping molle panels per shift. But, your video proves otherwise as the material and the panels cut to be sewn together are of different dimensions. Making the lapg just a bit more square and a bit more volume. But, you do get what you pay for mostly so, I’m thinking the rush 72/atlas 3 day are still up in air until I find out which will be daily and which will get packed for the pickup truck.

    Hmm, interesting. I wouldnt go for the cheaper option imo on a already budget friendly pack. Atlas gear is very similar to those amazon deal packs that always end getting torn up quickly

    Good comparison ! I knew of both of these packs, but not many comparison videos on them out there. I'm actually looking for smaller compact but still usable and tough. My EDC I have now is falling apart. I have the much larger LAPG pack which is very nice for the money, but its not very good for EDC. The Rush 12 is looking good to me. And if it holds up that would be worth the price. Thanks for the video.

      My gen 1 Rush 12 has been through MANY over loaded range trips. 30+ LBS once a week. and is just as good as the day i bought it.. all but the muzzle brake burns on the molle from using it as a bag rest.

    I liked my lapg,atlas 12 until I cut off the clips for their chest rig and replaced them with D rings. NOW I LOVE IT. Minor plus the the laser cut molle is stronger and far less obvious for winter edc

    Very good head to head comparison as nice packs....LAPG has some good stuff as I do buy their pants as very affordable and above average quality but again the price is right....Love the info as you did a very good job pointing out the good of each while also showing what they might lack too....Well done....Good stuff....

    Good comparison video, thank you. Overall the LAPG bag seems to be a good bag. The CCW compartment is an absolute for me, along with the sewn molle on the 5-11. I’m ordering a new bag and I’ll stay with purchasing the 5-11.

    The MAIN and MOST IMPORTANT differnece is that hidden ccw compartment 5.11 has that the LAPG does not have its the main selling point for sure.

    I guess .511 like other companies can’t leave well enough alone. I’ve had my .511 Rush Pack for a few years. It does have the drain holes and the computer compartment doesn’t really exist on mine. It’s just a pocket about 7 inches deep with a draw string. One improvement to the .511 that I really like is the concealed carry compartment. Other than my two nit picks, the .511 hasn’t really changed much. I see the changes as improvements. Does it mean I’ll be retiring my .511? Probably not.
    I do think the molly webbing on the .511 looks much nicer over the slots on the LA Police pack, but I have zero use for it. It just looks tacticool. ;)

    Not enough difference to justify paying $50.00 more for the 511. With that said I saved more on my Atlas 12 when I bought their blem because of the different color than advertised. Tax included my Atlas 12 was $44.00 delivered about a year ago.

    Excellent review. I’m leaning more towards atlas. My main concern is the long run. what holds up with durability, affordability, and what will last without incident.

    • @videogazer801
      @videogazer801 11 місяців тому +1

      If you want the bag to last, go with the LAPG hands down, because 5.11 Rush bag is mediocre quality and will fall apart within a couple years

    • @CorruptionManX
      @CorruptionManX 2 місяці тому

      @@videogazer801Your answer is a little controversial, since LAPG's raw material is inferior to Rush's. Apart from the amount of comments from people saying that the Rush is durable.
