Honestly, all of these films are good in comparison to the emoji movie. I mean, the hotel Transylvania films are fine, and while the angry birds movies came out late, they still arent inherently bad
This is being made by the same creatives that worked on The Lego Movie & Spider-Verse. Not the people who made the ones you listed. The only similarity is the studio. Which doesn't have as much creative control as you'd think.

I was actually invested in seeing something that seemed liked a Nice Slice of Life Movie about a Father trying to Reconnect with his Daughter and nope Robot Invasion in the middle of the trailer like wtf?
in the beginning i thought this was going to be a OK BOOMER movie about technology but when the robots show up, this movie make more interesting in it, like the meme "you had my curiosity but now you have my attention".

This was totally gonna be a normal family bonding road trip movie at first and for whatever reason someone upstairs said it was only gonna get made if they added an evil robot invasion. There is noooo way that what was shown in this trailer represents the original idea behind the movie.
c'mon guys, this movie could be great: 1. daughter addicted to technology 2. dad tries to fix it with a tech-free road trip (which doesn't work) 3. killer robots prove to daughter that technology is bad it's so overkill it's funny
