I know two real-life cases like this. When I asked one of them why he loved his kids so much but just wouldn't marry their mother, he said she wasn't the right one for him!! But he has two children by her. And they say women are complicated!! The children don't even have his surname, but I do believe he loves them.

Nah, I'm so sick of all these people that think it's okay to run around with someone else's partner. Yes, your partner owes you loyalty, but going around with someone else's partner when you KNOW about them is trifling.
"Someone else's partner" is BS. no one is someone else's possession. Even being married, engaged, committed relationship.... they are the only one responsible for their own choices. I don't own my husband and if he ever cheated, that is solely his choice to not honor his promise... not that I "own" him.

I never said anything about "ownership". Calling it someone's "partner" is the same as you saying "my husband". It's a term that indicates that it's someone you are with in a relationship.
And yes, it's their choice to cheat, but if you know that someone else is in a committed relationship, you choosing to mess with them is trifling. I said what I said.

Challenger, I have asked this question of myself and on this site. I would hope contraception would be offered, but I don't know. I do think the women, especially are trying to create the warmth and love they never had. Many are so young they have no idea of the abyss they are falling into. I am a woman, 76 years old. When I was young society did not tolerate this. I have black female friends, who are my age, who say, "Daddy would have gotten the shotgun". In just 2 generations this what we have. It is easy to play at parenthood. It is hard work to be a family. I pray these kids will wake up.♡♡♡

I honestly don't believe that the young women have a clue. A baby is a life long commitment. Babies are not puppies or kittens. They grow up to be people and they are yours for life. The young men who proudly say I have.6 Babies astound me. That amount, or more, of children is financially difficult for people who have a good income.These men are just scrapping by. It would be far better for these men to pride themselves on becoming a tradesman or getting educated in a marketable skill. Any man can be Johnny Apple 🍎 Seed.. And yes, "it takes two to tango", but it only takes one to prevent a pregnancy. Men are not going to prevent a pregnancy, they won't bother themselves, that's just the way it is. I partly agree with you, because a safe contraceptive pill for men was developed a few years ago, but men didn't like the idea of it. I'd have thought they'd like the idea of sleeping around with no chance of any consequences. But no.

oh please. that last guy played the victim so hard it’s ridiculous. he’s with a woman for over a decade on and off and has 6 freaking kids with her (and he only doubted the paternity of the last one) but he acts like he cares so much about his family and his family staying together when he’s been walking in and out of their lives the whole time. even if he is somewhat present for the kids and he helps out financially that still doesn’t excuse the fact that he expects the mother of his kids to not have kids with anyone else or be with anyone else when he’s out doing whatever he wants to do. if you actually wanted to be a family stick around for once.

The last case - the man kept whining. Aggravating! He took 0 responsibility for being disloyal to her. Yes, the case was about her possibly being impregnated by someone else but she owned up to her part, he never owned up to his. To me that sounded like he felt it was OK to cheat on her but she could not cheat on him. A good father cares for the heart of his children’s mother not just the heart of his children.
They don’t seem to understand the importance of growing a strong, healthy relationship for themselves and as an example for their children.

Society and nations fall when the structure is demolished from within. Intact family structure is the crucial unit of civilization. We all are witnessing in one way or another what happens when children are not nurtured and supported within a strong family by their mother and father, plus extended family and surrounding village of caring people.
