In the UK version of Kitchen Nightmares, he rarely shouts. I think maybe for American tv, they needed him to be more of a shocking character so they made him into the angry Scot trope but also,.I find that for the most part the people he screams at kind of...deserve it. Especially the arrogant owners who are running their businesses into the ground and who treat their workers like crap.

Olive oil helps meet cook uniformly. You can watch a youtube video from a chef explain why they use so much oil. The oil acts as a transfer medium so heat from the stove reaches all parts of the meet. Meets high in fat dont need as much oil, but still huge difference between a hamburger or steak cooked in olive oil then with nothing

I am someone who has the cooking skills of preparing cereal and toast, barely knows how to use an oven, and mostly eats microwaved frozen food or fast food takeout, but these kinds of posts make me more confident in my cooking abilities.

I get that Ramsey plays up the attitude for entertainment but uhhh maybe he shouldn't do that???? There are about a thousand ways to help people learn that are better than just screaming at them until they cry.
Some people never got shouted at by their parents because they couldn't do their times tables and it shows

getting shouted at as a child by a trusted adult because you were still learning is different from getting shouted at by an adult that you agreed to bring into your restaurant to criticize you, who is yelling at you because you are literally endangering people with your practices and are acting overly arrogant over your incorrectness

Watching her saying how crisp the cheese is in such a proud way really proves some people don’t understand the goals of cooking
Like they fundamentally don’t understand what the purpose of culinary arts are

To whom are these recipes/videos created for? Who's the targeted audience? Am I missing something? Because I am single and I would never try any of these crazy recipes. Thanks Nick...
