I recently changed my ryzen 7 5800x for the 5700x3d since I was getting CPU bottlenecks in 1440p in combination with the RX6900XT. It is a great improvement, and the CPU runs much cooler, which is a nice bonus
I have literally just ordered a 5700x3d. Currently I have a 5800x but I struggle in my games @ 1440p. I play mostly cpu intensive aRPG's and simulators. Happy to read your comment! What games do you play where you notice the most difference? Groetjes!
@Technoane Call of Duty (mostly Warzone) had a big fps boost, same goed for Fortnite with perfoemance settings. A lot of games got a nice boost
I just bought a 5700x3d for my rx6900xt card going from a 3900x. Cant wait to feel the difference!
♪ A 650w 80 plus gold da font to hold up the r7 5700X3D combo and the RX7800Xt, would really like to know why I wanted to update for that without messing around much
Just the Video i was looking for 🔥🔥🔥
Yer, really odd.. just bought 1.
Excelent video well done.
Much appreciated, great video
Thank you so much, glad you found it helpful!
I have Ryzen 7 5700x3d 32gb ram Rtx 3070 msi Mag b550 should i change the gpu or not ?
Tarkov player here.. with an asrock b450 pro 4 - ryzen 7 5700x3d - 32gb ram @3200mhz - rtx 2070s - what would people change? (Ram is maxing out)
Newer board? And gpu swap?
usually buying a newer graphics card is the most cost effective thing to do. is your cpu rather bored whatever task you throw at it? then dont even think of moving to the next system gen. if your cpu usage is on average 80-90% while gaming, then you really should concider an entire new system. a different ram than yours would, if at all, bring you extra 10 fps at best. but you would have to spend 100 bucks or more. thats why a better gfx card most likely would serve you the most. I have pretty much the same system you have and i want a RTX 4070TI Super or something similar from the 5XXXs series with atleast 16GB of VRAM.
Who about rtx 3080 10gb
Great video. I've a 2070 with 5600, will there be any benefits upgrading to 5700x3d? Or the GPU simply bottleneck the GPU.
Thanks for your question, actually there will be less bottleneck with the 5700x3d so you should be able to see and an improvement, especially at 1440p
my previous setup was 5600 and 6700xt, its struggle to play horizon zero dawn at constant 60+ fps highest setting 1080p, then i upgraded my monitor to 27' 1440p and cpu to 5700x3d, its lowest 1% is always above 70fps at highest setting 1440p resolution
@@soundflo3653Still kicking real good? I'm upgrading my CPU to 5700xd then soon my Rx 6600 xt to 1440p GPU. Maybe 6750 xt or I just get the 9070 xt when it comes out.
3060 12gb good budget combo?
the cpu is WAY too strong for a 3060 i would advise to go for a ryzen 5 5600 MAX and spend the extra dabloons on a better gpu, an RX 7700XT in my opinion
Just read 3060 12gb would bottle necking yeah.. I'm told 7900xt by PC Builder...
i had 3060 12gb from my last computer but its now on a new built pc with ryzen 7 5700x3d, yeah the cpu is alot more capable than the gpu.
you should be fine with ryzen 5 5600x but if youre planning on upgrading to better gpu later then going for 5700x3d is a reasonable choice, im planning on getting rx 7800xt or 4070 super depending what the prices will be next spring.
i have an R9 5900x 12 core 24 thread cpu with a rx 7900 xt merc 310 and i get a huge bottleneck at 1080p, will getting a r 7 5700 x3d help because of the 3d vchache?
Better choice overall
Just make the switch to AM5 no need to get the 5700X3D
Quit being a esports try hard and just get a 1440p monitor and you won't have a bottleneck anymore. Unless you are some pro, but if you were then you wouldn't be asking this question.
I have my 5700X3D paired with the Asus TUF Gaming RX 7800 XT. It's a nice combo.
Thanks for sharing!
i got 5600 with 7800xt atm im going for 5700x3d propably, seems decent upgrade
@@jereron648let me tell you i went from 5600x to 5700x3d with 7800xt on 1440p and its super smooth no micro stutters if there is its very minimal, BUT the chip does run abit warm as long as you have decent cooler/aio you should be okay. The 5600x does just fine the micro stutters and the 1% are abit shitty, but with the 5700x3d 👌 so if youre on the fence about it you should do it.
@@LilPetozthis make me happy cause I’m about to do the same upgrade
@@Killatastic go for it my man 🤙
the 4070 ti super is actually 400 euros more than the rx 7800xt in my country so i think amd is the winner here
5700x3d - Rex 4070 super
Brand new build ~ Ryzen 7 5700X3D/Gigabyte RTX 3060Ti....how far off am I? ;)
How the hell the 4070 ti super is not number one?
hi the 4070 ti super is actually the best one from the 3 I suggested, it's number 2 as the best premium choice. For the number 1 I take into account the overall value and price when pairing it with the 5700x3d
That is because of your poor comprehension. Go back to school.
Simple , price
NO, NOO, HALLOOOO, NOOOOO! 😂
Rtx 4070 super
No, for 1440p and 4070s best is 5600x, because cheaper than 5700x3d
@@D_Drive Sure dude keep telling yourself that, the 5600x is still a great chip but compared to the 5700x3d it's really weak. You can pair a 5700x3d with pretty much any gpu without issues.
@@dredgewalkerfor 5700x3d need 4070Ti Super, not 4070s
4070s is too much just go with the 4070
