I grew up calling it Gex 3D Enter the Gecko. Others know it as Gex 3D Return of the gecko. Then there's Gex 64, the one with the exclusive Titanic level.
Great video, new liker and subscriber here. Some of my favorite memories as a kid was getting off the bus, running to room and playing the heck out of Gex on the 3DO. Cool thing about the 3DO version was the level select code unlocked all the unfisnished, weird test and debug levels left by the developers. Gex was a lot of fun and the sequels were a blast too. However, as innocent and fun as Gex the game was, his species holds some dark secrets. For example, some species of geckos exhibit cannibalistic behavior, especially in situations where food is scarce. Juvenile geckos are sometimes at risk of being eaten by larger adults, including their own kind. Also, male geckos, like Gex here, can be aggressive during mating, often biting and holding onto the females, which can lead to stress or injury. This behavior ensures mating success but can be traumatic for the female geckos.
3:45 I own the GBC version of Gex: Enter the Gecko and it's still a 2D platformer. Got it as one of my first games
Here's to a year before he gets to the third game.
