That one and Pressman are two Primus songs I never really got. Maybe they're cool performed live at a real intimate venue, but I think the studio versions are kinda boring, plus they have roughly the same chorus riff and appear way to close to each other on the most boring part of an otherwise great album. Well now you absolutely have to check out Wynona's Big Brown Beaver.
I have👍🏾
I just saw! Man, it took a lot of restraint on my part not to burst out laughing when you paused that second time! Great videos sir!
We all can't say we haven't stomped around like that listening to Primus. It is fun!
Love their drummer... He's really good. I have learned so much playing to their tunes...
Which one? They've had a handful.
@@Matt-ob3it All of them good. I think they mean Herb tho
Man. Cant believe the age of some music. The time has definitely passed too quickly. Love this song. Not only do I still listen to it pretty frequently, it gets stuck in my head a lot. Something about the beat and him yelling all high pitched and funny sounding. "hayyy yaaaa" haha
Can you react to the doors ?
Great song would be
-Light my fire
-The end
-Riders of the storm
-L.A Woman
You should listen to "beezelbub" - Beat Antique (w/ Les Claypool)
One thing for sure about primus is that once you do get into their more popular songs, you'll definitely grow to love their much more odd and reclusive ones. Definitely looking forward to more primus reactions in the future, but for now I'll recommend rumble of the diesel or American life.
So glad you have discovered Primus!! Keep it up!!!
Gotta check out some Nine Inch Nails! The Woodstock performance of "Reptile" or playing "Something I Can Never Have" on the piano then "Down in It" since everyone usually goes straight to "Closer"
Or "The perfect drug" or "Hand that feeds".
Can you react to Primus- John the fisherman? its hillarious xD
I enjoyed watching you enjoying that! I loved your reactions too, Primus is one of my fav bands and now you are my fav guy on YT. Peace to you man!
Just saw them live opening for slayer at Slayers second to last show ever. At The Forum. Have a few videos of Primus and Slayer. Never saw Primus before. They were excellent. And played many of the songs I was hoping to hear.
Primus sucks! And we're better because of them! So glad that they exist.
Request to see a reaction to Mr Bungle - Pink Cigarette!
Primus song- Nature Boy
That one and Pressman are two Primus songs I never really got.
Maybe they're cool performed live at a real intimate venue, but I think the studio versions are kinda boring,
plus they have roughly the same chorus riff and appear way to close to each other on the most boring part of an otherwise great album.
If I were to cut ANY tracks from that album (which is one of my all-time favorites), it'd be those two tracks.
(Hell, I'd even keep the title track and "Hail Santa")
@@Dhakadice hail santa is absolute garbage, nature boy is a total banger though, primus is one of my favorite bands ever but hail santa is atrocious!!! How dare you!!!
@@loftin92
Yeah, but it works in context.
I agree that Nature Boy is better than Pressman, but I still feel like putting those two songs on the same album (and so close to each other) makes the entire middle feel like filler.
I stumbled upon your reaction vids through the Gimme Shelter one, and these Primus reactions are priceless. My face is sweaty from laughing too hard, the shifts from stank face to utter confusion and "the hell is goin' on!?" :D
les has a really great stage performance with the leg movements while he walks around the stage
You need to See les claypool playing whamola! There is a Video called long in the tooth (about 15 Minutes long), worth it!
I was wondering if someone was going to suggest that. It's such a hypnotizing sound. Kinda hits the subconscious like that musical instrument called a 'Jews Harp'.. at least it always has for me.. goosebumps every time I hear those instruments.
@@uoabigaillevey the wet thumb rubbing in a pot Solo is awesome!
Deftones - Be Quiet And Drive
I don't know why I keep seeing your Primus videos come up but I'm glad to see it looks like you're becoming a fan.
Same at the last guy. My absolute favorite Primus song. That constant bass line is entrancing. Sailing the Seas of Cheese is amazing cover to cover. Frizzle Fry is a great album as well. Keep it up and stay safe !
The Primus sucks thing was a joke that the band came up with years ago. Les has gone on record saying that he doesn't like it anymore and wishes he never said it, but dumb people still end up chanting it at shows even though the band no longer likes it.
They’ve embraced it at this point
considered a tradition. we know they don't suck
Runaway gets it. That shit was fun 30 years ago. The novelty wore off well over 20 years ago. Move along noobs
@@waynestumbo2408 I first saw Primus in 1989. I've seen them and Les other projects over 30 times. I'm aware of the tradition and that they don't suck. Les just said years ago he was tired of hearing it and that the joke wasn't funny to him anymore. But whatever ...
DEFTONES: Kimdrakula, Combat or Beware!
I've never had more elbows to the teeth than during a Primus show. AWESOME.
Lol boy yop really reacting to errythin! Can you react to, GIVE IT AWAY and or UNDER THE BRIDGE, from red hot chillispappers!
You should check out Primus - "Fish On"
It's a story about fishing.
So it's the fish trilogy, John the fisherman, fish on, ole diamond back sturgeon. It tells the story from different perspectives.
Bruh, I like watching your respect for different types if music. Best reactions on UA-cam
The fact that you like Primus just makes my lifetime man, Thanks! And that strut is the stuff, kinda Chuck Barryish!.
Just go straight to the 6 min and watch... Dude killin it!!
Edit: 6:30 it gets funky!!
Primus sucks!
I really like your reaction videos, because I feel for me I come to watch these types of videos just to listen to the music with another person! And you get straight to the part we want!
One of your best videos, great impression!!
PRIMUS SUCKS 🤘
It's a term of endearment for fans😉 Entertaining for sure, not for everyone but now u know what cool folks like me was listening to coming up😂😂 There's so much music out there people don't even know they like because they're unwilling to step outside the comfort zone!! If u ever get a chance please react to some Howling Wolf Smokestack Lightening!!! One of the many roots of the great tree of music💯 Much ♥️from Bama 🙋♀️💕
Don't forget Taj Mahal.
