It is such a balance between smooth racing and epic crashes. The engineer wants zero crashes and the entertainer wants the track to burn down in epic flames with cars flying everywhere. I can't wait to see how people use the SR2 and what crashes will follow :)
That would be cool! While I'm going to sell prints of the SR2 track, I'm also going to release the STL files for the basic track pieces like I did for the SR1. You just got a printer, right? Want to try printing some?
@@spoolheads yup! I have the ender 3 and for as much as I'm printing, I'm already eyeing a Prusa hehe. I'd love to test print a couple and see how they turn out! Shoot me a dm on FB :)
For sure. These cars are really going fast through these turns, though I should make versions with higher and lower walls to really help people with whatever speed they need.
Good going. You make some cool quality stuff. Someday I may add a chicane to my track. But I don't have a 3d printer nor the budget for any additions at the moment. "Keep your roof to the Sun". Mahalo
Hours of careful design, lengths of filament, and days of patient printing... And just those two awkward castings that want to yeet themselves off the track, whatever happens!
I could make the walls taller to help keep the taller cars on the track, but then it hides the lower profile cars too much. I think this is a good balance. The higher profile cars would do fine if I reduced the angle.
I actually really love the crashing!!
I only watch racing for the crashes! 😅

Then mess up your track again. Not enough DNFs last race. LOL!
That looks awesome and super smooth. Nice work.
I really appreciate all your comments and support Numbskull! THANK YOU!
Looking good Russell
Thanks Thom! You are the best!
Looking good. Eventually I’d love to replace all the the painted orange track on our mountain with custom printed pieces 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Those look nice! Great job again on the design.
Thanks again!
All of your stuff looks fantastic!
Thanks Will! I'm having a blast!
Excellent! Hey those modified cars handled well :)
I was pretty surprised by how well they ride. I've got some more tests to do. Thanks for watching!
So there’s a fair old incline on these tests! Looks great! Got 1 45deg dual lane and 2 22deg dual lanes printed

Just enjoy the ride for now!

Awesome race track bro
Thanks Zelda!
