Cool that the SR1 is so flexible to use with other brands. Lots of thought into this, and well executed. Great stuff
Thanks!
Great commercial, definitely gonna try washing my fur with those.
Really helps get rid of those white flakes ;) Thanks for watching!
Wowow what an incredible, innovative, and generous contribution to the diecast racing community. Truly exciting. Simply, thank you. And I cannot wait to see racing on the SR1 track (dope name)
Thanks! There's going to be a lot of great SR1 track pieces in the future that will really be fun. I really need to stop having so much fun building my track and start racing on it :)
The SR-1 track spacer are golden
Glad you like them. I’m going to upload the single SR2 connector to thingiverse soon. Makes connecting SR2 track together much easier
Nice work dude. My track connector is very similar and I love that it stops the track moving around and it’s also out of sight. Very generous to give all the files away.
Thanks Mr. Watson. Glad someone else is excited as me about something as geeky as track spacers. :) You don't even see them in the race!
@@spoolheads not seeing them is what makes them so good 😊
@@spoolheads I just need to buy a bigger printer as I can only do 150x150x150 which is too small for nearly all track pieces.
@@ChaosCanyon That is very cosy for printing actual track pieces for sure. I'll have to show some racing first so you can see if it is worth upgrading. Have you started using the Nascar Crash Racers track? If so having enough spacers under the track really helps to flatten them out.
@@spoolheads I have and I’m using my under track connector to keep it flat and in place. So far they’re working really well.
Appreciate the humor.....and the files. Thanks!
Glad you like them!
Ha! That's a hilarious marketing commercial! I love it! Thanks for sharing this with the diecast racing community! I will definitely try to print some out myself! Thank you!
Awesome. Let me know how it goes or if you have any suggestions.
You're going to make me get a 3D printer yet. Great ideas, work, and excellent community building.
LOL. Thanks for the nice words Owen.
These are awesome! So far I've printed the spacers and they fit perfectly in the crash racers set and flatten the track out. It's amazing! I'll be printing off a couple of the 45 turns as well as straight sections. Keep up the great work!
Thanks JuSh! I'll try to get a banked turn going soon too. I really appreciate the public comment on your experience with the SR1 connectors.
So I just got done printing the 5° out piece x2. Really nice track stuff and I'm printing the connectors. Might be printing more as well. Thanks for making this available.
Awesome! Glad you like it. Thanks for watching and I'd love to hear if there's another track piece that you'd be interested in. Good luck!
Man, I really appreciate your contribution to the community! I love your content, can't wait to see your track in action!
Thanks. This community is great fun to be a part of!
@@spoolheads have you thought about selling the track connectors or other parts? I haven't invested in a printer yet but would be willing to buy the connectors!
@@carnageroad3758 For sure. I'm spending way too much money on this hobby and could use some income to help cover it :) I'm working on getting a way to sell prints and hope to have it up in the next week or so. Follow the Spool Heads Racing Facebook page and I'll get something up there. Thanks for your interest!
SH1 Track !🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I busted out laughing ! Man I'm loving this so far. That intro was hilarious. Yes !
I seriously have a track that has SH1 on it. Something didn't quite look right, then it hit me!
@@spoolheads 😂😂
WoW.....this looks amazing & now there's going to be a rush to get 3D Printers for all of us Diecast Racing enthusiasts. Now its time to finish your track & let us see it in full production. Congratulations!
Maybe I should be selling 3D printers now ;) I'll get some test footage of my track posted soon. Thanks for watching!
Really clever designs! I love the Dual Track Spacers! Great way to secure the track!!
Thanks Steve. I agree about the track spacers. I'm printing a bunch of them as they are super useful!
Thank you for your generocity brother !!
you are doing god's work 🤗🤗
:) Thanks!
super awesome bro⚡️
Thanks 🔥
Hooooly Moooother!!! A dream coming through. THANK'S
You bet!
You become my fav channel, as you in a father with same hobby!!!
Thank you!
Holy crap! I just printed out my first straight track & spacer. Absolutely beautiful design - even down the the side logo. 4 hrs for 1 straight/spacer, but it was worth it. If it takes me weeks, I'm going to finally build a nice run for my diecast, since I have wide and orange to connect to. This is what I hoped this hobby would grow to. Thank you!
That makes me really happy to hear. I've got some fun additions to SR1 to add this week. Thanks again for printing them and the nice complement. I'm really glad it is working for you.
Omg... you the best... TKS a Lot.... 🎉❤
You're welcome 😊
Nice 3d printed race track bro, awesome, very nice brother
Thanks! Keep up the good work on your channel too!
@@spoolheads thank you so much and hope you enjoy our video race as well brother

I will definitely give them a try.
I subbed 😀
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure
Thank you!
Thanks. You two are the best!
You are awesome!
That's really nice of you to say. Thanks
Wow these are really versatile
I'm really excited to have more people start designing and playing with this. I think there's going to be a lot of options out there for great dual lane races.
Cool! Good thing I know a couple people with 3D printers.
You definitely need an SR1 track at your house :)
Effen brilliant.
Thanks for checking it out!
Wow this looks great, that's it , I'm buying 3dprinter.
There are a lot of fun track options out there. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
@@spoolheads Yup, I'm waiting for my Crash Racers sets and off we go! Cheers :)
I need to stop using my old track for washing my hair, and get some new track.
For sure. Orange track is garbage for that. LOL!
looks good, i am subscribed and hopefully will get a 3D printer soon, I believe you had a couple recommended printers in a previous video. Maybe in a future video you can show the process of printing a piece of track...all the way from downloading the file from thingiverse to the finished product. Thanks again. and definitely looking for the banked turns.
Great idea Steve. I'm happy to make a video that shows the process.
Made me laugh, good call on not naming it Sh!track. 😁
LOL
👍🎥
Thanks!
Thank you, I think I'm going to have to get a 3d printer now. How hard is it to learn and what's good for getting into it. Would love to start printing pieces for my track.
It has taken some time for me to get really comfortable with the printer. I've been 3D printing for a few years now and understand my printer and slicing process really well now. It is totally a hobby I enjoy, even if there are times that they don't work right. In my next video, I'm going to go through the whole process from design to slicing and printing. That should give you a better idea.
Also, this has been really a lot of fun for dual lane races, but so far, there are still better options for open track racing.
Have you looked in to using hot wheels world city track pieces? Since it is two lanes wide and open track it might be ideal for racing.
Hmm... Interesting suggestion. I'll look at it. At first glance, looks like the side walls might not be tall enough.
Just seen this and love to try it but Ender 2 printers have a tiny bed. How easy is it to split the files up and print in pieces?
Here's a demonstration of how you could approach it. ua-cam.com/video/r8TPRYlgRiA/v-deo.html
i need those track spacers! Anyone printing and selling those? I only have a resin printer which wouldn't be ideal for this.
Let's get you taken care of. Email me at russ(at)spoolheads.com. Thanks for the support!
how i can get the connectors, i was looking in the thingiverse profile and i nothing there
Just search Spool Heads Racing on Thingiverse.com
Hello I’d really like to buy some of your track pieces and connectors you designs are fantastic how do I purchase some pieces and help support your endeavor
Right on. I'm hoping to set up a shop soon. I'll try to keep you in the loop. Thanks for your support!
Have you moved this to printables yet?
I haven't. That's a good idea though. Thanks.
@@spoolheads I’m happy to help you get free filament so that is why I ask!
Free filament?! Nice. How?
@@spoolheads you earn filament based on downloads, makes, likes, ect of your design along with making other peoples designs
That's awesome. I'll check it out for sure. Thanks for the heads up!
Maybe you could sell them for us the don't use 3D printers
Sure. How many would you like? :)
@@spoolheads I'd legit buy 50 of those spacers.
Cool. Email me at russ(at)spoolheads.com. We'll get something worked out for you. Thanks!
A+!!! #1 place to + your subs Promo-SM!!
