Another reason people decide to take roids is because they have a truly flawed image of themselves. Bigorexia is a very real thing. Trust me, you don't need to be giant and shredded like the guys you see on social media to get girls and/or to have a strong character. (getting girls is a big reason guys wanna take the juice, let's be honest).
In a generic sense, these are my goals: Lift naturally, eat right, strengthen my mental fortitude and improve my social skills.

I've been following Alex for a while and he honestly is natty. You can never say anything for certain but if you have been lifting for years, you can honestly tell who is natty or not. If you aren't honestly having people question your natty status as a natty, you aren't doing it right. People for decades have been lied to about the natty limit and potential and have low barred natty expectations. For all we know, Alex, Eric, Omar, etc are juicing. But I honestly and sincerely doubt that as much as I doubt I'm going to die tomorrow by an alien invasion. These guys could be juicing but my certainity that they aren't is 99.9%. Just because there is the existence of uncertainity doesn't make me loss sleep at night. Like I don't actually know if gay frogs are running the world, but I'm very certain they aren't. It's literally everything in life. Uncertainity should be there to test out the facts and you should be able to weight out the options to what is most rational.

First time I did orals (right before they became illegal in USA few years ago) I think it was the 2nd cycle I was on, no matter how good my intentions were and how careful I was starting out, I abused them and got pancreatitis and was peeing blood. I threw away the pills and stopped everything and went back to plant based to detox (at the time I thought I needed animal protein). My doctor said it was a miracle I made it out of that, which I did.
But guess what? No matter how good my diet is now or how much I stay hydrated, my pee has never been the same.

Sorry but I have to disagree here. Do stay natty and workout if u want to be healthy and fit but don't imagine u can do the whole linear progression mombo jumbo after u are 25. Chasing that incredible physique (big or ripped) or strength PR natty is impossible for the very vast majority while working 30-40h a week, going out on the weekend, having a girlfriend or wife let's not even mention kids. Sure when u are 20 u can go to school all morning, go to work in the afternoon, hit the gym in the evening, f..k your girl all night and somehow still make gains but when u get close to 30 even a cold will regress u a month in the gym.
U can't workout enough to have a super physique if u work most of the week and are in a relationship, u can't sleep enough or eat right all the time.
Look at all the fitness gurus natty or not. Most are under 25 and what's their job? The gym. They live and breath it, that;s their life. no 40h desk jobs or rushed off your feet job. Of course people will try using gear. It's a way to still keep the super phisique but maintain it easier, sure u have to use the gear right or it's useless but it's still easier and besides look at all the fake nattys that their whole life revolves around the gym and they still have to use gear to get the desired result.

Steroids are effective no doubt but the disadvantages heavily outweigh the advantages!
    Acne
    Blurred vision
    Cataracts or glaucoma
    Easy bruising
    Difficulty sleeping
    High blood pressure
    Increased appetite, weight gain
    Increased growth of body hair
    Insomnia
    Lower resistance to infection
    Muscle weakness
    Nervousness, restlessness
    Osteoporosis
    Stomach irritation or bleeding
    Sudden mood swings
    Swollen, puffy face
    Water retention, swelling

I fear that natural lifting will become niche with the increasing number of insta-models and unnatural lifters. Can you blame folks though? If you see a guy sweating, struggling, dying to lift 455 for 5; would you wanna go through that shit? Especially when you can get all the superficial women you want with a needle and some curls.

Literally nobody cares if you're a huge guy. We all have our own problems to deal with and muscles and strenght are not the center of the Universe. Sure you wouldn't be the biggest and strongest guy but think about it- once the roider stops with this shit, you'd look better than him. And not only that but literally no sane person would make his life and happiness depend on big muscles and strenght. Be the best you can be and you'd be a part of the Elite with the others who are there together. If you're great, you're great. I even think that there'll come time when we'll see natural competing each other..well, not exactly compete but being example models together.

I won't be staying natty because I'm in the bodybuilding game to become a freak, not just have a good physique. I want to be freaky big and freaky vascular. I know I won't keep it forever and I accept that, but while I'm young and unencumbered by the responsibilities of a family or serious career, I want to achieve a look that goes beyond whats capable naturally. And when I'm older and settling down, I'll leave the freak factor physique and gear with my youth, resuming my natural lifting. By then my priorities will have shifted towards my family. I recognize that there are inherent risks to gear usage and I accept that. If it shortens my life to a certain degree, I accept that as well and will die happy knowing I lived my life the way I wanted and did the things I enjoyed. Thats my mentality now at least, perhaps I may regret it when I'm older but only time will tell.

I was having some panic attack issues which I went through all kinds of tests to figure out what was causing it. It was low t since I started TRT I haven’t had one panic attack. For that reason I am definitely happy I started. And I plan on doing al the required blood work to make sure I don’t cause any other damage from it. My strength has gone up but definitely not to an unnatural level.

I totally understand your thoughts on this topic and I hate fake natties just as much as the next guy! However, I think there is room for a little open mindedness when it comes to low dose gear use. I'll use my situation as an example.
I'm currently on the highest dose of what someone would consider TRT of 100mg of Test e 2x/week. I've suffered from depression for a long time, within the last year I have found out my test levels are sub clinical and ranged from 550ng/dl to 293ng/dl. No one wants to treat me because endocrinologists and physicians are too dogmatic in their ways and are too busy treating numbers and not patients. So, after doing a shit ton of research (although no amount of research is enough, I was not going to succumb to paralysis by analysis) I decided to put myself on a 12 week TRT cycle to not only take note of any physiological effects, but to also see the physiological effects which brings me to my next point.
I suffered from a grade III shoulder separation from a fall off my bike. This essentially took me out of the gym for 3 months + 1 month to get back to where I was in my programming before the accident. I was pissed, I ate a ton of shit (although the stupid amount of food I ate kept me anabolic so I doubt I lost a lot of muscle) and I was looking for ways to make up for the lost time.
You're probably going to roll your eyes at what I'm about to say next, but here goes... Moving forward after the cycle, unless I get prescribed TRT from an endocrinologist this is the only thing I will ever run. I know, I know, bullshit, once you're on you'll never come off. But, what if... I do stay off. I know I'd be an exception to the rule, and I'm not asking for your validation as to what I'm doing, I just think that if things were done the "right" way (however you want to interpret that, be my guest) I don't think being on gear is as bad as it's cracked up to be, at least on low doses and for a short amount of time.
I know I didn't talk about my nutrition, programming, etc. but just assume it's on point. For what it's worth, I'm running a slightly modified Texas Method program. Which begs the question "am I an intermediate?". Yes, I am. But assuming my nutrition, programming, and PCT are all on point, I should theoretically be able to keep most of my strength progress. This will allow me to eventually have a strong enough strength base to start a hypertrophy macrocycle to put on mass before I cut back down to 15% and start a Strength training macrocycle for the following year. The end goal is to look better, feel better, and just have a better sense of well being and confidence. I know I could get there naturally, and I know I just sound like an entitled, impatient brat, but I've been waiting all my life for a solution to these problems, and this seems like a relatively safe and effective way to get there in a relatively shorter amount of time compared to someone who is natural.
TLDR; I want bear mode "yesterday" + better sense of well being/confidence, suffer from depression + injury, run TRT to note effectiveness for depression and to make up for lost time because of injury. Will run only ONCE, despite statistics of this not being possible for the majority of the population, unless given a script for TRT from an endocrinologist in which case I might hop on TRT long term.

Steroid users for the most part make a conscious choice to 'get on the gear' and justify there decision by claiming just getting juiced doesn't necessary get you jacked or transform you into a champion and despite being on it they train and diet harder than anyone else. To me naturals are more impressive because its all them, the feats and physiques of old school bodybuilders and strongmen are far more interesting; it shows what is possible without the gear. I've seen steroid users at the gym who actually look miserable for the most part and don't like to interact with anyone who isn't on the gear sadly some of them actually looked better before they took steroids. People who take gear aren't idiots they are individuals who've made erroneous choices somewhere along the way, the images and ideology's propagated by the bodybuilding and fitness community are for the majority guys on gear! I've never touched it I wont judge anyone who does but not many people who train look at the old-school to see what is attainable naturally. Even in athletics you can see the ESPN documentary 9.79 about Ben Johnson who said you've got to 'take it to make it' nowadays many competitive power-lifters , strongmen and bodybuilders take it because everyone else does and its a unfair advantage hence all the natural federations that are around now. Even in boxing now there are issues regarding PEDS Canelo Alvarez fight with GGG was suspended because he tested positive for Clen which he claimed he consumed unknowingly from contaminated Mexican meat!?
