I showed some friends who casually lift Bumstead's contest physique and they were literally grossed out by it, and don't get me started on open bodybuilders. the thing is that most people WILL be extremely happy with the physique they can achieve with very dedicated and intelligent training and nutrition for 5-10 years, and what I think Greg overlooks is that of people who train, almost no one trains naturally for 10 years with no breaks. You might not look like a pro bodybuilder, you might not even be the biggest guy at your gym bc genetics are real, but imo almost anyone who trains hard and smart for a full decade will look like an absolute stud to NORMAL PEOPLE. being in the echo chamber of online fitness gives ppl such unrealistic expectations of what the average person thinks about physiques.

Naturals rise up, we have to put the health and fitness back into Fitness. It was suppose to be about looking good and being as healthy as we can. Now it's just the "aesthetic" and praise of lifting heavy weight. Don't get me wrong having muscles is good and putting up big lifts is empowering and makes you feel good, but we should never sacrifice our health to increase those two for the praise of others.(For regular people)
I work in a rehab hospital and Alot of patients are older population, alot of the older men(and women) always give me complements about my physique, and they tell me how they trained when they were young. It's fascinating, and out of all people to give me complements their's hit home the most. Alot of these older men trained when they were young, a few even showed me pictures of them lifting back in the day. The fact that they even now are still training, and working through rehab is motivating. Whenever they mention aging they laugh, joke about it, and mention how they did their best. Listening to them I realized that you're not suppose to be amazing forever, and that it's ok. I love training, and will do it until the day I'm done, but I don't ever want to be so deluded to think that all their is to my identity is my physical prowess. Apart of it, but not all of it. Getting old is apart of life. I worry that our generation(at least those involved in fitness) won't be able to take it as well as those before us. That's my rant.
Keep lifting, stay natty, do some cardio, and don't forget to live your life. 💪

Social media has a huge effect on people's perception when their feeds are filtered to all the people who look jacked. Even training for just a short time and putting on a little muscle, you already look & feel better than the average person. I work in an office & even after just a year in the gym I was in better shape than 99% of the people in there. People's perception of "average" can make them unhappy in chasing something they cannot achieve.

Ive watched you since i was 14... now im 19 and i havent been seriously training (on and off), and even when I had with rings untill Igot myself a nerve tear in my left trap, which put me out of training completly. Now ive been doing exercises i realised I can do to rehabilitate my shoulder and work my lower body ( at home with 5kg and 10kg dumbells). And even if I dont directly mirror your exercises Ive seen you grow into such a scolar of the art of training ivve learned so much. Probably the most important thing ive learned is to train for yourself, and your own goals. Comparing to other people whos interests and mindset is different to mine is pointless. Now im on a great path of becoming the best version of myself I can be (naturaly ofcourse, PEDs are straight up sad). Thank you so much and the greatest of regards from Slovenia

Cant we just get back to the days where People like eugene sandow were considered big? Every woman i asked found mr. olympias to be "disgusting". Guys wake up, if you want such a body for your dating life , you are missing the fact that most women out there look for aesthetics that are 100% achievable naturally by almost everyone!
Look at AlphaDestiny and tell me he looks small. That would be body dismorphia.
People who juice themselves to infinity are actually comparing themselves to the physique of other dudes. Which i think i ridiculous. If you measure yourself against other men, then sure do it with your physical capabillities.
If you think an efficient martial artist or sprinter or any athlete would benefit from having a physique you see on the MR.O stage, then you need a meeting with reality my friend.
PS: Alpha you have grown a lot since i first saw your videos, and i dont just mean your physique , i mean something much more important.. your character. I remember how you desperately wanted to grow the beard and gave (imho) contrary advice to this video. Difference is , you actually grew out of it and earned a tremendous amount of respect on the way. Most natties have crap diets and crap recovery. When you take steroids well the need for a great diet and great recovery goes down. Obviously having both of those things on top of PED use and effective training is the fastest way to grow muscle, its just for natties its not that easy. Most PED users have physiques that are attainable 100% natty. You can get really far just straight natty when you actually know what you’re doing. Having abnormally high testosterone levels is an insane advantage but so is actually eating right, sleeping right and training right

Why is Greg underplaying steroid effects? I knew 2-3 people in my small gym, about 20 yo guys, that went from 175 muscular and lean to 225 lbs lean in 5- 8 months on oral steroids. About 2010 when "prohormones" were the real deal (or at least that's all they told me they were taking) They looked like they went through the hyperbolic time chamber. They had six packs before steroids and better six pack after the huge weight gain. Their Bench went from 250-275 to 405. Eventually one guy got gyno and later got surgery to sort of fix it, still looks bad. The other broke his arm from arm wrestling one time because his muscles were stronger than the bone after getting strong so quickly.
