You know Captain Obet, you and Captain Boeing have the best instruction classes. Between the two of you, I will earn my wings soon.😊🥰😊👍 Never mind the fact that I am 70 yrs. young. I truly enjoy the information. Shukrun, Thank you.
Hi Fatimah... Don't pay too much attention to Capt Boeing. He has appalling CRM in that he does not respect the pilot flying. He keeps his hands on the control column which causes distraction and also additional imputs that can confuse the actual flying pilot. He also adds further minor control imputs by using the transmit button on the control column. There is a Push To Transmit switch on the radio box which would be more respectful. His hands are everywhere! !!! .
C route means 'Company Route'. We used to have a lot of company routes stored in the database on board in previous times. That however took up a lot of space so they were removed in favour of uplinking routes via ipad/through 4G network etc then we load it in FMS. No memory issues.
Hello captain, thanks for sharing. I have a question, where can I find out the Acceleration Altitude/Thrust reduction altitude, is that appeared in the charts?
That is determined by the performance section of the airline. Usually a standard altitude is used like 1000 feet above airdrome level but can vary on occasion for noise abatement or terrain purposes etc
Cptn, why You dont use DME/DME update? it seems to be needed in case of GPS - L/C/R FAIL, for example we have a lot of this kind of situations over southeast europe, and EASA is working on estimating more DME stations all over the continent, take care, cheers!
Thank you so much, I now know how to set up my Boeing 747, next tutorial how to take off please
Hi Captain , Several of us here in Florida really appreciate your videos. We enjoy plane spotting and discussing your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you- my pleasure 😀
Wished the 747 was close to study level in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Great I can watch your videos. Thank you for the insight.
A lot of people say that the SSG 747-8 2.5v is finally a worthy 747-8 for xplane 11, if you love xplane
PMDG will bring a study level 747 :)
I guess there is pmdg 748 for you very. Good for
MSFS2020 AAU2 update does wonders for the default 747! Avionics work like a charm! Making a tutorial video it is so good!
Flying made easy. Great information Captain obet. Hope to fly with you to the phillipines.

Great instructor. .more please.
Thanks- coming soon😊
Amazing videos as always :))

Why not setting up the planned/expected STAR, for distance on PROG page? 🤔
Awesome video! Always enjoy the FMC setup on planes in general. One question though, what is the “co-route” (on the Route page) for?

@@pilot_obet Thanks for teaching captain 😀

We use GPS as the preferred update. If we had a failure of both GPS systems, then maybe we’d use DME updating. GPS is more accurate.
How about V1 VR and V2 speeds? And take off flaps? When are they set?
This was initial actions.
Can you show Engery managment on the Nav Display of the 747-8F, please?
I mean like on the 777 with the blue and white dashed rings.
Ok
Hi Obet. Another great video as always. Do you like those tactical buttons on the FMS compared to the plastic ones?
I like these
Yes amazing
So you guys just copy and trasfer the flight plan on the system? I though you guys actually have to type in every way point and airway one by one.
No we don’t- all uplinked
Thanks ,love your vidoes.very clearly explaned and simplified .
Is route + SID + STAR are stored in the FMS ?
Yes it is stored in FMS on board.
Only the SID and STAR are on board. Route is uplinked.
Does different route is different cost index?
Yes
Hey Captain. U didn't put V1, VR, V2 into the FMC.
Remember I said FMS - initial actions! Final reparation is coming in another video.😊
He forgot the Wind Data page🤔
👍
Hello👋 how long my request send pictures ? I wait pictures
Hello captain, why does the colour of the FMS display changes from yellow to white and back?
May be just the colour change on video.
@@pilot_obet Thank you Captain
I just finished UA-cam flight school. Could I borrow a 747 for my first flight? Just need a quickie for a short hop and get right back in bed again.
Yes you may😊
