The Subway Zion National Park Left Fork Trail bottom up- 2 Utah Hikers -Photography and Hiking

For a couple of hikers in their mid 50's, this hike I would rate as strenuous! The trail fades in and out in the Wilderness of Zion National Park. You have to make your way over rock falls, boulders, trees and water. We wore layers because it's November and just our hiking shoes with neoprene socks. If you plan on taking pictures, this hike could take you up to 10 hours. It is 9 miles round trip over rough terrain. There is a 400 foot decent at the beginning and the end (ascending) that has loose rock and is very steep. The whole hike is an adventure which we thoroughly enjoyed and now have the sore muscles to prove our hard work!
