Oh, WOW, Rino! What an *awesome* place!!! Absolutely love it - especially the high-ceiling rooms on the upper floor. Would also have loved to have seen the cantinas (?) under the large terrace. Sadly, it’s too much for us to take on, but we hope the next owners/care-takers will love it and keep its unique character intact!!!

For only €150.000 someone should be able to renovate this mini castle and make it really beautiful.
Those ground floor bedrooms should be made into a library office and the other into a sittingroom.
The room across from the kitchen can be the formal dining room.
That huge living room upstairs is magnifficent, but the walls need to be refinished.
Nobody touches that ceiling! 😅😂😅
I would completely demolish that ugly storage building and make it into a park or formal garden.

Hi Rino - this is definitely an unusual property - it has a bit of a Venetian look to the exterior to my mind. I am struggling to see it being transformed into a private residence given the scale of the works but it is nevertheless a unique property and should be an asset for the community. I could see it being used for events especially with the benefit of the elevated terrace. Perhaps the Italian govenment has funds for such a project if a good business plan was put in place? It's important to keep economic activity going in these small towns especially if you want to keep young people in the region.

The Italian government has set in place tax benefits (for those who pay taxes in Italy) where on a maximum of € 96.000 they will give back 50%.
There might be other funds and benefits but for this it would be best to get in touch with a technician or an accountant.

Underneath the terrace there is indeed a warehouse as big as the terrace where they used to work almonds, of which the area is rich! Once renovated it can be host to many things!

Grazie, Rino! Real potential here, and real involved renovations too, starting with roof and mold removal. I don't think the bathroom upstairs needs tearing out, personally. I'd paint the pink room white, let the lines, proportions, and that floor really shine...that massive storage/terrace?!

Structurally it appears to be in good condition. Whether used as a grand private home, a B&B, or for hosting events there seems to be a lot of value for the money. Obviously, it does need updating and some renovations but still a great investment for someone.
The structure of the property is indeed very good and very solid, although the roof needs renovation. It has the advantage of being able to become anything one wishes after the work.

I have to say that I totally disagree with you that the bathroom needs to be gutted and redone. If the facilities are working, why destroy it. I find it quite charming just some good cleaning. As one commenter said restoration not gutting. And make it a destination wedding venue. I could even see turning the long row of storage units onto hotel rooms potentially and save enough space for an on site caretaker. Hopefully, whoever buys this property would leave the pink room as is and bring it back to its original glory. I can see that being used as a ballroom once upon a time.

That is correct! Underneath the terrace there is a warehouse space (once used for de-shelling almonds) that's as big as the terrace. While doing the renovation it could be made into anything one desires.

Bro, you really should've worn a respirator and done a voice over in post. The amount of mold in that place was horrifying. Probably 10-15k euro just in mold remediation in that ruin.
