My grandpa worked for GE in Syracuse, NY when he died. He was an electrical engineer working on engine technology that would later be adapted into the SR-71. He had a heart attack and died at home. Within an hour or so of his death, a few government guys and GE reps came to my moms house. They gave my mom and my nana a huge bouquet of flowers and apologized to them for my poppy's death (which I think is odd but apparently one of them actually knew my grandpa from their time in the NYNG during WW2). Then they asked my nana to lead them to grandpa's "office" which was where he would work on drafts and blueprints when he came home from work or if he had spare time on the weekend. It seems ghoulish but thats what happens when you work on secret shit; his death was a matter of national security. Eventually they picked his office clean and left.
Still to this day I have no idea what exactly he was working on but I know it was very important and very classified. Upstate New York has a very long history with GE as it was founded at the heyday of the Erie Canal, railroad, and beginning of mass automation. GE no longer has their HQ in Schenectady (now theyre in Boston) but they still have a big presence in Upstate NY. My mom grew up in a "GE Family" and just the phrase "General Electric" is a huge point of pride for locals.
The rwr of the F16 makes it so much better in simulation now, we can know the model and therefore the direction of enemy planes.

@@MrNPC Wdym? They’ve already made several RP changes and there are more economy changes planned between now and November. The AMRAAMs are most likely coming in December.

@@DieErsteKartoffel we def arent. people cant even understand the flare resistance of 9ms and r73s. the 9x is very very hard to flare, and even good pilots will find it very hard to flare. It would be impossible for most of these idiots.

This thing is the top dog overall. The flight performance is excellent. The weapons are competitive. The SMT just has such awful flight performance that the weapons don't make up for it enough.

Is it even worth it to take the two sparrows on this anymore with the AIM-9M's? The sparrows are so inconsistent and really easy to dodge or notch

This thing is going to be the meta mobile in sim for sure! It has the performance to beat all of the migs at lower speeds, and since the meta is already to hug the ground, the r27er advantage is neutralized. The f16c stays very low at a controllable speed and waits for the enemy to get close before firing a SMOKELESS missile and without warning the enemy just explodes, you hardly even need a radar at that point besides for IFF
mig29 players just need to select snow maps in sim and bam they can see all aim9ms lmao

sparrows are missing way too much this update
I don't think so... In simu with l'aim7m I have been deceived several times because they are better at hitting a target that flies very close to the ground, the 27ER is less good in this area. The aim54c is the same, you have to nerve your internal radar because it sometimes manages to hit us even when we fly 50cm from the ground which is illogical.
Bro, they literally nerfed the viggen RWR , like why. Now it has the russian style RWR and the viggen didn't even have those it doesn't make any sense.

Why would they limit it like that? If the Tomcat is allowed to take 6 sparrows or 6 Phoenixs why would this be a concern?

Do you mean helmet mounted display? F16c has it, though it’s not the same as one on f4s. Hmd on f4s allows you to fire it missiles and do radar lock in any direction, meanwhile f16c hmd works only for ir missiles
@@Kishinist There are no helmet mounted displays in game, only helmet mounted sights that allow you to lock with missiles. A helmet mounted display shows your hud in any direction you look and shows all the parameters the hud does. it also gives missile warning and directions as well as shows your lock outside of the boresight.

ive played over 50 games, ive yet to be get killed by aim 9m. always aim 9L because some reason gaijin buffed it when it didnt need to be

if russian missiles and planes were soo good why is it they havent shot down any american made planes since vietnam? but american made plane have shot down over 400 russian made planes
because they dont get trained in properly in russian planes, not to mention the russian planes getting shot down are afew decades older then the planes that shot them down
