Best loadout for the F-111 for bombing so far I have found is Four 3000lb bombs. Its enough for two bases having one 3000lb bomb per pylon lets you sweep the wings fully back unlike with multiple ejector racks, letting the F-111 hit Mach 1.2 on the deck carrying enough bombs to destroy two bases.
You should see how it plays as the ULTIMATE RUNNER in air rb
Step 1: Bring max fuel and drop tanks for 170 minutes of fuel
Step 2: Afterburn (the whole match)
Step 3: Climb to 9-10km
Step 4: Circle around the map at 2400km/h
Step 5: Watch people struggle and mald
Step 6: Lose the match but at least it was entertaining
Step 7 (optional): Repeat these steps many times and get suspended for passive behaviour
(There is nothing at this BR with enough speed or fuel to reach you)
(F104 has lower max speed and less than 33% of the max fuel)

if you go with the 50 750lb bomb loadout
you can theoretically destroy 7 bases
but one thing i hate about the update is the long wait time for the bases

They nerf the bomb load, can no longer carry 50 x 750Lb

7 750lb for a base to be exact.
I turn off the maws in the Apache sometimes because I know friendly AA missiles will trigger it and dump my flares. Having the MAWS toggle button readily available helps spare the amount consumed.
What Apache has MAW?

Now that we got the Aardvark, it'll probably be coming in the next few updates

Who knows. It will likely come out when the F111C or F111F come out. It’s most comparable to the early 70s Vark, which is much better than the F111A.
The Su24 is nearly twenty years newer than the OG Vark.

The Model and pylons probably aren’t ready yet so they will most likely add it next update

Hey mat the first thing you said about it being the only fixed wing plane with maws is a little backwards f111a is a variable sweep wing a fixed wing means it’s stationary and doesn’t move, such as a f15
I love doing low-level strikes in this thing.
Ccrp works well for airRB bases, because their coordinates are pre-loaded. For the level bombing I'd advise using it

Is the MAWS available for A-10?
IR/UV MAWS was not a part of the A-10 airframe until the A-10C was introduced, so when that gets added.
currently only 2 other jets i know of ingame actually had MAWS besides this one, (Harrier Gr.7, J-8F) and for some reason they dont have it either

They added the aardvark but didn’t add a dump and burn binding?? These developers really do the least amount of work they have to.
They did the ejection capsule…. Plus fuel dumping isn’t even in the game yet

Do you have to set up automatic countermeasures or is it already turned on for the f-111?
Automatic countermeasures are a part of the MAW system on the aircraft, so by default it won’t require any setup unless you want to take flares reenforced, mixed, etc. If you go into the MFD, you can toggle it on/off
Simplified: ON as default. Keybinds for toggling is needed.

Not gonna lie I think they should remove MAW from the game, its just gonna lead to a top tier tank situation where theres very little skill involved

You say that like it takes skill to move a mouse in air rb and let the game control how you pitch roll and yaw.also if anything it will force more players to use their cannons and AIM rather than pointing and launching a missile .
There is always skill involved in warthunder. The sad truth of reality is that it doesn’t matter how skillful you are at war, you can do everything right and still get killed. Some matches I can completely clear the skies with my ADATS and some matches a really skilled pilot gets the best of me, or a ka50 catches me by surprise. What makes the game fun is using the assets with their intended systems so their capabilities can shine.
MAWS has this problem where it can't distinguish between friendly or hostile missiles, so it ends up spamming flares. They don't need to remove it as this thing is kind of a gimmick anyway, and it ends up eating through flares. Most people will likely not use it.
So far for me it been food for me lately
