Grundy was actually never a corubt man or a member of a mafia,he was just a kind hearted slaughterhouse worker in 1898, but dispite also being a Dr alongside his wife Pinney Grundy she was raped by a callous foreman Henry Pittance and she killed herself on the job.after her death he fell into a depression after finding her body's when he got home from getting Penny her favorite flowers.after that he locked himself away in his room moraning her every day but on the day he passed he vowed to avenged not only his wife but hace vengeance for the life that was stolen from them...and the ghost of penny is with him to this day and only he and those that can see ghosts can see her.
