Respectfully as a member of OPP for decades, I remember nothing like this description. I pledged at a small religious-based college, and the initiation focused on exhibiting attributes of manhood, personal integrity and becoming a positive contributor to society. It was a commitment to brotherhood-not exclusive-but inclusive of all as commanded by Christ in “love thy neighbor as thyself”. I remember nothing Satanic or counter to principles of Christianity, or I would have raised a fuss. In my continued role as a Christian-follower and teacher of such, I feel sorry for those who seek to elevate themselves by maligning the relationships they know nothing about.

For instance, 95% of people don't know that Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. jacked their whole identity from a white organization that started 59 years before they were thought of, 31 years before "Dr. Ernest Just" was even born. Just wanted to come back with this because I thought it was really powerful and please understand I mean no hurt, harm, or danger by it just food for thought.
My mother was preaching Bible study tonight in preparation for the seven last statements and resurrection Sunday. A lot of us Christians don’t realize that in todays time our sword of choice is the word and don’t realize that by us judging others by the word we are also going to have to be judged by that same word on judgement day. I say all that to say we’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, BUT Jesus gifts us with grace and mercy. And if we strive to be as God is we must also provide others with grace and mercy.

As for Oaths? It's not a sin inherently to make a promise. The idea is that Christians are meant to be trustworthy and should not rely on oaths to compensate for their lack of trustworthiness.
If making an oath or a promise were a sin, then marriage itself would be a sin. Signing a lease to pay off a house or a car would be a sin 😂.

The rituals for all of the organizations mirror one another. It’s so slick how it has been done. We did all of that struggling and fighting, blood sweat and tears just to barter our souls away in the final hour in ritual/initiation.

Around 14:22 she reads about whom our petitions are laid before. She then tries to reference a verse from Phillipians that states our petitions are laid before God.
With a little reading comprehension you know the word "petition" simply means request. Typically a formal written request. We make formal requests all the time. Nothing in the Bible states we can not make petitions to anything else. We can petition our rights, regulations, and privileges on the daily. Filling out a job application is a form of petition (a formal way to request work).
Her idea that laying down a petition is demonic makes zero sense. It's practically as though because the language used is colorful in a way similar to the bible she assumes it is evil.
This is just one of many of her ignorant misconceptions.

I am a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., and I am trying to understand Ms. Clark's motivation for trying to expose things that she clearly does not understand. She takes the time to make approximately hour long videos on the nine fraternities and sororities. I assume that she researched each organization before making these silly videos. I suggest she take this precious time to do something positive or that may benefit her intellectually. I shall pray for her. She is lost.
I appreciate the contribution the frats and sororities bring to the campus and even more so the community. We were excluded from organizations, so we created our own and do it better. I'm only against hazing. Other than that, keep on keeping on, and bringing the good to the community. It is shameful how we create these videos against our own.

I can't speak for other organizations because I do not know their rituals, but in MY organization there is no text directing us to worship an entity other than God. The meaning behind it is to uphold standards set by the founders. One of those founders is Bishop Edgar Amos Love. You should read about him.
The only way being in the Fraternity becomes an issue is when someone allows their love of the Fraternity to come before their love of God. This is not a problem exclusive to fraternal business. We allow many things in our lives to come before God. It is different from person to person.
It's unfortunate that you believed being a member of an organization distanced you from God, rather it's that you allowed yourself to be distanced. However if denouncing allowed you to come closer to God in your journey and relationship, I am happy for you. If you truly love Jesus and the Father then it is a win for the kingdom. But do not condemn others because of your own short comings. Only God is the judge.

Lol I always finds these videos hilarious. Just wanted to point somethings out first. One of founders Bishop Edgar Amos Love as previously stated was a bishop and would’ve never allowed demonic worship to take place. So, please stop using that reasoning. Also you don’t even have the books we use for ceremonies so how would you know. Also having rituals isn’t a bad thing everyone in the world shared a ritual. That being waking up and brushing their teeth in the mourning. Just because the word ritual has a negative connotation to it doesn’t mean it’s all bad. People can argue praying is a ritual so ya🤷🏿♂️. But just as a word of advice next time just bring members on that you know (preferably older members) and we can show you that it’s not what everyone tries to make it out to be.

Peace, it’s not about that. Whether you pray or not. It is the covenant and bowing before the altar (the table with cloth and candles is in fact an altar). It is pledging all of yourself to the organization and ambiguous being it references in the initiation. It is also any physical or mentally abusive behavior toward another person. There is an Omega in the comments that confirms that all of this is true. If during your rituals you kneeled or invited some Spirit other than the Holy Spirit into your life then you need to seek deliverance. If you’re not a Christian then it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day.
