2. It’s not just a shirt. To disavow an organization, one must also rejects their works, beliefs, and teachings. This harkens back to my original point that was made about when we allow things to exist in singularity. To you it’s a shirt about a movie. To that Nupe, the movie is an extension of his feelings and beliefs.

@EricJJones I can't attest for everything that she said. Though , the fundamental tenents are definitely true. There is no escaping that false gods are embedded in the paraphernalia that is worn and honored by every one of these organizations. Also, including myself and everyone else i know who pledged, they pledged to put their organizations first using an altar to the after life. You might argue and go back and forth about little nuances and details. Fundamentally, it is idolatry. There is no getting around it. That is true regardless of what details she may have gotten wrong. My husband is a kappa and I have been dicerning this for years due to the attacks on my spirituallife and my family since I have come into covenant with him. God even gave a word and interpretation through me as I prayed over him when I was desperately trying to sanctify my husband. "There is no work to be done in a heart that is hardened; there is no work to be done in a mind that is bound". Now my husband calls himself a man of God and "loves the word". He listens to sermons in his spare time. I was confused by this word for sure! This confirms it for me. Thank you.

It’s sad that one of our own is going through the whole D9 to attempt to “expose” them as being demonic. If you or anyone who does not agree with fraternities or sororities, remove yourself from that environment and focus your energy else where. A person in any type of organization will have a choice to be Godly or Worldly. Whether I’m in the military, the job corps, SGA, NAACP etc. there will be a chance to worship these organizations or the one true living God!

Waiting for her video on the Armed Forces. Since that requires all members to take a "blood oath", go through weeks of initiation and learn to speak in strange terms, and sometimes engage in combat to the death. Probably a bunch of examples of what a poorly studied person would call idolatry as well.

It's FUNNY that you believe that the Ritual you have is what makes a man, a Kappa Man, or that going through a Ritual is the main important aspect of Greek Fraternity life. We all know the Rituals that you are using is on display at the Library of Congress and has been there since before I was made. I was made in the 70's! That is why the idea of taking the "Greek gods" seriously is the furthest thing from a Kappa Mans mind. I don't know a Kappa who takes Apollo seriously, or even refers to Apollo as being a god positionally in our fraternity or of the fraternity. We don't put Greek CHARACTERS (Like "Micky Mouse" or Apollo) higher than our brothers or the organization, and we don't worship each other. Kappas don't worship Apollo or even care!!! Saying that, I know of no Kappa that is knowledgeable of the frats history and how the Ritual came to be, and why we originally used one, who has a problem with using symbols, and characters that are NOT REAL to represent an induction ceremony. Apollo is a MYTHICAL FICTIONAL CHARACTER (NOT REAL) from a Play, so with that said, intelligent people in their right mind know NOT TO WORSHIP OR GIVE ANY SERIOUS RECOGNITION to them!!! I think the only people on earth who EVER took Greek gods seriously are YOU, and the ancient Greeks! Giving any Greek god as much credibility as you is really strange! I love God, and Jesus is my personal savior, I hate the devil and all demons. I know how to read and apply the Bible to my life. I know the difference and so does thousands of Christain pastors and believers all over the world who belong to Greek organizations know the difference between real and fake, worship and rooting for your "team."
If Kappas don't take Apollo seriously then why don't you just remove Apollo from their organization. Most Kappas don't take Apollo seriously because they had no idea what they were doing when they were pledging. How many 19 to 20 year olds actually took the time to study Greek gods and Ancient Greek religion before pledging a Greek Fraternity? More than likely none of them. Question, why are these organization called Greek and the people joining them are predominately African American. If you are a Christian and you are apart of any of these Greek Fraternities or Sororities know that you have been warned.

Just like Apollo's brother, Hercules (Heracles) was not really born from Zeus, and didn't really have all the adventures, because it's ALL FICTION! They are myths as in the words "Greek Mythology." Look up the word mythology, it should tell you they are NOT REAL and are based in FICTION: "a set of stories or beliefs about a particular person, institution, or situation, especially when exaggerated or fictitious." So why would ANYONE from modern day, college educated men and women, worship a Greek god? Who would worship fictitious characters that are not even real people let alone a god? There are more than 200 Greek letter frats and sororities active on US college campuses and more than 1000 internationally. There are more than 200 American white Greek letter fraternities and sororities to our small number of nine! There is no need for members of Greek frats and sororities to study Greek mythology even though I had too. White Greek Frats and Sororities are larger as far as the number of active members per college. It sounds like you went to a HBCU and didn't pledge so you don't see the big picture! I'm very blessed to be a part of a Divine Nine College Fraternity. The God of Abraham blesses me when I come in and when I go out. Jesus Christ is my Lord PERIOD! Kappa is my Frat PERIOD!

This whole thing is such an unfortunate situation. And it all leads back to our parents and grandparents not being in better positions to inform us, especially where spirituality and beliefs are concerned.
When you are young you don’t know that value of the words you speak on a daily basis. You barely fear or revere or take heed to the wisdom and advice that is imparted onto you. No young person understands an oath at that point. They understand getting through a process that is frustrating, painful and humiliating; and most are willing to say whatever they need to get it done. Sad but true. By the time you get the grip, the secret word and the shirt one you have already forgotten most of the oath.
A wise and intelligent person should at least go back and read the oath to cover bases and make the decision afterward. Dont let pride and ego blind you.

God is omniscient, he is all knowing. He knows the beginning and the end. You are placing God almighty on the playing field with you and your limited understanding and intellect.
With that said, many times the children suffer the consequences of the sins of their Parents. As a result, God sees it will continue in the entire Generational pipeline. So there is No Mercy in that. For example, someone has fed you a bunch of mess. Or, you have just misinterpreted scripture. And you now will pass it on to those you have influence with. God has a way of stopping that Generationally. Hopefully in his Mercy, through salvation in your family.
