You can actually just ignore the origin trait artifact mod bit cause just having Anti-Barrier siderarm mod will do the same thing but it's actually useful and you will be running it to begin with so equipping the trait mod ontop of that would actually just be a waste of a artifact mod slot imo.
Ah good call!
I mean if you're running something like arc or void that isn't present in the artifact then you might as well equip it anyway as the other mods aren't gonna do a ton for you.
This is a great point I just realized the anti barrier mod gives overcharge
I did not know anti barrier did that
Came here to post the same thing, but yes, save yourself an artifact perk, no need to have both unless ur using other weapons on there along with Indebted.
The good thing about voltshot is that the gun has Sundering, so when you shoot vehicles you get a very fast reload speed.
Shriekers getting COOKED
How often are you shooting vehicles?
I think you meant to say "break elemental shields" seeing as how rarely we shoot vehicles in PvE.
Real question: do the brigs count as vehicles?
@jacobbruch7854 no. Which is annoying. I was thinking decon on the heavy grenade would cook the Briggs
I have one with Quick Launch/Tac Mag/Lead from Gold/Deconstruct with a Velocity MW. You get even more ammo back constantly because of deconstruct. That said, you are trading deconstruct for a damage perk, but it’s definitely a super fun roll!
nothing is better than free ammo, people dont get same with 4charm on hammerhead. you dont need to look for ammo, 99% of imbeciles doesnt even have 1 scavenger mod, 99% has charged up and emergency and heal on orbs but zero resistance mods, 10% damage reduction with need for at least 3 charges, vs 15% damage reduction without charges. where those imbeciles learned that?
I have found it really doesn't need a damage perk.
I have damn near the same roll, LFG/Decon and I love it. Hoards of ammo.
I've kept one with permeability and ended up using it more than volt shot.
I don't think it has many dmg perks that are worth it anyway lol, it's a great weapon for just having a very powerful special ammo weapon on your hand all the time, also using a ad clear build with some dmg utility it'll just be insane
oh but it is a damage perk. shreds through shriekers
Bungie did nerf double special, but you're insinuating that they destroyed it all together, which just isn't the case. Remember the modifier "Juggler", well that's embedded into Destiny 2's gameplay mechanics all the time. As long as you continue to rotate your weapons, you should still be able to make double special work
Yeah bro said 'it might just make double special viable again' like, they didn't kill the build. They just removed the mechanic that made it so double special would generate more heavy ammo than primary weapons would, double special still cooks, has cooked, and will for the foreseeable future cook most content. Good trace rifles have been useable as a primary weapon, and the claim that special ammo weapons can't trigger finders near the start of the video is either misinformation or a lack of testing on his part. Finders just care about kills, you get bonus progress for using a primary, sure, and even more progress for using an exotic primary weapon, but even a heavy weapon can trigger heavy ammo finder. And as an ad clear weapon, you got a lot more mileage using it like one instead of blasting out barrier champions, throw on mountaintop or something to help soften them and the gun will go miles longer. Good ad clear perks can help a ton too, but it has nothing but voltshot right now which feels bad to use without impulse, but the gun still smokes everything down it's barrel and makes master level content feel way easier
Double special is borderline throwing
@@omars1369not at all with special finisher
It isn't even close to throwing. You're truly showing your skill level and understanding of the game with this comment. Wouldn't be surprised if you run double primaries. Good players rarely if ever use primaries. Good to high teir players hate primaries flat out. You might want to check before you make a comment like that. One of the most unintelligent and uneducated comments I've ever seen about this game. Good job,you roasted yourself.
juggler was removed months ago. still doesn't matter.
especially in onslaught where you get a flag/crate every 5 waves, optimal teams are making close to 1000 orbs a run, and there are plenty of ads to juice your finder mods
My first drop had adagio so i was kinda forced to use it until i got a "better" drop.
I got a voltshot roll so i started using it...but realized it just wasnt doing nearly as much damage as i was used to, to elites and stuff. It already fires pretty slowly so you dint even notice the slower fire rate but the damage increase is definitely noticeable.
Im an adagio stan on this weapon
I have yet to get one but I knew it would
Be strong voltshot is just good for room clearing
that last info was very much helpful.
Omg! I haven't been using the seasonal artifact mode all this time 😭Thank U!
As long as you were using Anti-barrier sidearm, you were getting the damage bonus anyway
Just use Deconstruct. It makes it generate free ammo regardless on successive hits after a threshold because of the removal of the timer interaction last patch....and you won't need to run Lead From Gold when you are getting ammo from thin air AND you can just keep hitting a single target without needing to constantly reload. You are essentially getting like 20+ rounds per mag instead of 12 because of the thin air bonus rounds and that means your reserves last way longer. This lets you run beacon rounds, impulse amplifier or enlightened acftion instead.
Decontruct has great ammo economy, but lacks the pure add clear potential of Voltshot. Plus Voltshot can make your weapon anti-Overload too, as triggering jolt stuns Overload Champions. There's two real god rolls of this. Beacon/Deconstruct for efficient ammo usage, especially against higher health targets, and Lead from Gold/Voltshot for massively better add clear, champion stuns, and still solid ammo economy. My preference remains the Voltshot roll, as jolt is and always will be one of the very best debuffs in the entire game.
ended up getting an adagio roll and never used it until i saw that it was good in Onslaught. i find it pretty good at chunking majors after getting a kill on a red bar. although voltshot is great for add clear. great tips!
Great work Above and Bagel!
For better ammo economy still, I use deconstruct and lead from gold. plus the extra damage against shriekers and other vehicles is HUGE for onslaught
The anti-barrier to side arms in the artifact, as any other anti-champion perk there, will also overcharge weapons of the selected type.
I have a tac mag/lead from gold/volt shot - it's nice having a champ stunning perk but I will say that I could def see myself swapping it to adagio easily. My go to weapon combo has been Wish-keeper/Indebted Kindness/Crux Termination which allows me to stun all champs.
Another banger. Keep it going brotha man! 💪🏻😎
Given the intrinsic aoe ive been having lots of fun with atrition orbs with this thing as it seems to proc more often and is an orb creating machine
Adagio being 30% damage for 7s, so close to surrounded went over my head like crazy! thats gonna be so busted for onslaught
Yeah it’s VERY good
but you shoot slower and 100rpm isnt so fast
using double special on arc hunter melee build generates insane amts of ammo based on the opposite ammo type weapon ur holding, dunno how that works but it does, im only getting kills with melees and the arc explosions caused by the melee
I use it with Loose Change + Voltshot and its nasty. Kill an enemy, reload for voltshot, shoot again to procnvolt shot and boom +50 reload, reload and fire away to constantly fire voltshot rounds
Or just use impulse amplifier for instant fast reload lol
This weapon is soo good with xenophage, although when im on cenotaph warlock im running buried bloodline, since it has the same ammo economy and also procs devour while on wellock
Great and quick video! Thank You! Gonna go grind Warlords now.
Easily my favorite weapon this season. I've been using Voltshot Impulse amplifier but I'll be on the lookout for adagio and tac mag.
Surrounded is also an excellent damage booster that is beyond easy to proc in Onslaught and similarly add-dense activities, definitely a good alternative to Adagio.
very good video.
rocket sidearms get the primary weapon multiplier on finder mods instead of the special weapon multiplier. The base kills is around 57 kills. Primary weapons get a 3.25x multiplier (so do rocket sidearms). normal special weapons only get a 1.1x multiplier.
Exotic Primaries get around a 4.225x multiplier.
This has been good knowledge you could find on DIM during buildrcrafting, but it's good to spread the info! ♡
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback!
Do trace rifles also get the same buff?
What does this mean? Sorry I am new to the game.
@@DjLuCKyCHaRMokay, ammo finders are mods that allow you to make more ammo for your heavy and special weapons. It takes a heavy weapon (purple ammo) around 60 kills to activate the finder mod and spawn an ammo brick. A special weapon (green ammo) takes more like 50, and a primary weapon (white/infinite ammo) needs like 20 kills to trigger a finder, and any primary weapon that is an exotic needs like 15. The Indebted Kindness sidearm is a special ammo gun, but it is treated like a primary ammo gun, so it takes like 30 less enemies killed with it to make an ammo brick
Great video brother
Thanks homie I appreciate it!
I love using permeability for solar/strand
Suuuuuuper underrated perk
I use it for stasis titan. Crystal pop is one shot with IK. Pair it with icefall and the heavy stasis wave frame it's pretty satisfying
I get to have x4 surge for my wellock wearing Battle Harmony 😂
I got surrounded and beacon rounds. Never been a sidearm guy. But its pretty good👍💯🔥
I need one of these with the neomuna origin trait for the micro rockets, and deconstruct and onslaught, so i can rapid fire rockets, then throw on my grand overture and arc nuke everything.
Im gonna farm a ton of these
Haven’t tried it but you could do permeability with gyrfalcons so the gun gets volatile rounds
Is all of this true for forerunner too? If so, since it’s an exotic, it sounds really good
I have it with permeability and it adapts to the actual meta super I'm waiting to test it with prismatic to see what damage type it gets
I'm amazed how much permeability on this weapon is not discussed more
what’s the best farm for it
next TWID: "Fixed an issue where Indebted Kindness was generating heavy ammo, as well as received higher reserves with Tactical Mag equipped"
Try with forerunner and buried bloodlines. It could just be special sidearms?
I just like my voltshot beacon round roll.
I got a Tac mag + Lead + Deconstruct roll and that thing NEVER runs out of ammo 😁
What is that shader?! 😮
Is Buried Bloodline the same?
Permeability is also good on Indebted Kindness for Gyrfalcon Hunters
Dodge, go invis making Indebted void. Now you can have volatile rounds on it.
Also, deconstruction infinite ammo with L4G is phenominal.
Eyes of tomorrow enters the chat if you know you know
Thank you for this video. This is one of my favorite weapon to use. Didnt know about the artifact perk though. Got to start using it.
Very welcome dude! Glad you enjoyed it
I have this roll and it slaps
I think Buried Bloodline may fall under the same category. Been using it for a few builds as a main weapon in double specials and Im fairly certain I've spawned bricks.
Drum and bass in Joe face
While watching the video decided to check my roll and... Tactical mag/lead from gold/adagio roll is mine. Damn. Adding to the facr that it is my ONLY gun from the dungeon because i cleared it just 1 time XD
i got a tac mag-lead from gold-deconstruct and deconstruct give me ammo back like no tomorrow, such a pocket rocket
Doesnt other overcharge stuff only kick in when the mod overcharged weapons is active like in GM’s?
I thought exactly the same. This needs to be tested!
noooope
Yeah. The Overcharged Weapons modifier needs to be active for the seasonal artifact mods to kick in. This isn't the case in onslaught.
Bungie nerfed Double spesh. INDEBTED Kindness "hold my vex milk."
😂
Indebted kindness can already be overcharged because its anti barrier right? As long as you have that socketed in the artifact.
Does this also work with special ammo finder?
I didn’t test this, but I believe it’ll work best with heavy finder
Genuine question, what so good about beacon rounds? Did I miss something
Basically just aimbot haha, but not necessary IMO
@@AboveDestiny ah, thanks! Yeah definitely not need imo too. LFG or IA would be the go to for me! Great vid😁
Doesn’t Buried bloodlines so the same thing?
What shader is featured in the thumbnail?
Cryptic Legacy!
I personally prefer Impulse Amplifier over Lead from Gold due to how easy the ammo drops for this gun, since it works as a primary with ammo finders.
Impulse is awesome as well. But if you haven’t tried LFG…it’s just so busted 😂
@@AboveDestiny I've tried both. LFG is fantastic but there's more than enough special ammo, especially considering Indebted can generate its own ammo with special finder and special finisher.
if you truly want it close to being infinite ammo run tac mag + lead + deconstruct. if you hit 6 bullets it refunds 4 on the initial activation of deconstruct due to weird interactions with how this perk works on this gun and rounding. if you re-proc decon while it's still active it refunds 2 bullets instead of 4. i have this exact roll and i've been using it like a primary already racked up 12, 000 kills on it
I feel like we playing borderlands 2 with the rocket pistle getting us heavy back
Don't champion mods also permanently overcharge weapons?
So Barrier Sidearm is all you need for that damage bonus.
No, it doesn't matter much, but what's the shader you equipped on it
Cryptic Legacy!
New video Yay!
❤
3 weeks is several?
Most important question, what shader do you have on the gun?
😂 True! It’s Cryptic Legacy!
Try with strand, frostees/6th-coyote and permeability.
Your welcome
I think burried bloodline will make heavy too
I can finaly show this to my friends, They wont agree that Adagio is good on it. Been using that alot and they are all NOPE, Voltshot xD
Sadge I don’t have this gun and I’ve not done this dungeon either :/
Lol I was on Indebted as well as Bloodline before fucking onslaught, now look at the cows.
Don’t overlook Deconstruct when it comes to ammo economy. Sustained damage refunds ammo. Lead from Gold & Deconstruct would make this really good for double-special.
Lead from Gold is great, don't get me wrong, but in an actual double special setup, I'd much rather have impulse amplifier, because lead from gold actually adds half as much ammo if you're using double special, regardless of if your other special weapon has the perk. More ammo is nice, but.. special finisher exists so that's probably going to be the better economy option
Plus, it makes voltshot leagues better, letting you reload after almost every shot without making you realize how slow the reload speed is, and the projectile speed increase let's you hit things easier, now that you don't have beacon rounds.
Plus, oftentimes you have enough ammo to make it through an encounter without too many bricks needing to be spawned in, and in onslaught you almost never run out of ammo if your team actually does the objectives
you should try a loose change, volt shot roll. has really good uptime and puts your reload speed at 78 over impulses 48. plus puts aim assist at 100
Still would like to know the actual benefit of it's origin trait
So glad you called out the last part. Yes, you don't actually need that perk because you can equip anti-barrier sidearm and get the overcharge, but everyone and I mean EVERYONE forgets those two perks exist to overchage a whole lotta weapons that otherwise wouldn't be. All of the seasonal weapons, for instance, for this entire year, can be overcharged.
Very underrated perk no doubt!
exactly same is with color overcharges, they do not stack, people are scared to use different color or different weapons. on rig use crota and easier to put 2 void surges, if you dont have good bad omen use red herring craftable with frenzy and tracking. same color or same weapon class already have overcharge if they are on list or anti-champion, use stat4all not keepaway cos many times you are overrun and it doesnt work, stat4all also gives you more, not range but damage falloff, plus 0.95 reload animation
Don’t you still get the benefits of improved sundering with the perk though…didn’t think that would cancel out since piercing sidearm is stun…sundering is different.
@@BeAboutTheRealness enhanced sundering? nobody knows what that is, regular for destroying construct or shield you get 7s +40 reload. tracer rockets is also joke, primaries activate at 47% of mag shot but when activates there is 1s not counting shots and you still shooting. you not gonna wait 1s for perk to reactivate. same as kinetic tremors on supremacy how fast you will do 2 of 7 shots and then for 2s it doesnt activate, so you waste shots that will not stack kinetic tremors. earlier before nerf at least you restarted it to do 3 tremors again. majority of enhancer perks same as origin traits is useless. here you can only use that on 2 more weapons, void grenade launcher and strand rocket that is high impact so trash
can you get it beside doing the warlord ruin
No
Underrated ahh channel
Much appreciated 🫡
Actually Eriana's Vow is coded/counted as regular exotic primary for heavy ammo finder bricks. Yes, it is worse than Indebted Kindness in terms of ammo economy, stunning champs(no voltshot and 2 shot for barrier)and enemy with no crit, but it is solar (ignite from precision kill is too OP) and better against tormentors. So if I am not running Gally or Xeno (cough Apex cough) I prefer Eriana over Indebted
GREEEEEAT more reasons to classify it as a pay 2 win weapon...
Well. All useful insights tbh. I’m shocked
Glad you think so 👍🏻
1:26 All specials can generate ammo finder bricks, this is not a new thing
Indebted Kindness counts as a primary so it does it faster most specials
Here is the description of Ammo Finders in the Destiny Data Compendium:
/////////////////////////////////////////
Ammo Finder Bricks grant 27.5% [60%] {100%} of a Regular Ammo Brick's Pickup Amount, with reduced variability.
Scavenger Mod's Bonus is applied to Ammo Finder Bricks.
Pickup Amount is determined on Brick Spawn.
Works on a Counter that only progresses with Weapon Kills.
Once at 100%, the next Weapon Kill will spawn an Ammo Brick.
Enemy Combatant Rank does not affect Counter %.
Counter Percentage per Kill:
Power: 1.1% to 1.33%. Average of 83.5 Kills.
Special: 1.66% to 1.8%. Average of 57.25 Kills.
Primary Weapons Kills = 4.25x | 3.25x Multiplier to Counter.
Special Weapon Kills = 1.05x | 1.1x Multiplier to Counter.
Exotic Primary Weapons = Bonus 1.3x? Multiplier.
Rocket-Assisted Sidearms Kills count as Primary Weapons.
Eriana's Vow inherits the Exotic Multiplier, but progresses as a Special.
*meanwhile me running the infinite special ammo setup from the start of LF where I generate 1 special brick from every finisher making my team happy alongside running this sidearm* having fun yet?
Anti barrier also, best weapon in the game imo, now that you posted this I’ll wait for bungie to nerf it
That's my helmet and gun ur using
wait i only get 6 ammo back on lead from gold what am i doing wrong?
Ok I actually learned something
Glad to hear it 🤝
Loose Change/ Permeability for me
Cannot confirm or deny this myself, but it sounds like deconstruct is bugged in a good way on this gun. It's granting far more ammo regen than expected. I trashed all my decon rolls but multiple users on reddit seem to corroborate this
bro, do you even play the game? i never once have been out of heavy ammo in onslaught. youtubers have gone full new light with this update
This wasn’t specifically for Onslaught…common YT commenter moment
Isn't the weapon a legendary sidearm though so it could count as a primary sidearm instead of a special weapon.
the loot is still pretty crap. we need a guaranteed shiney for legend 50 clear for whatever you are attuned to.
also beacon rounds is a wasted perk imo. sidearm already has decent tracking. also don't dismiss a loose change roll either. that perk is very good and often glossed over.
lead from gold deconstruct try it infinite ammunition fr it’s better than volt shot
Why not deconstruct?
Awesome video, but on thing bothers me....What the Hell is that shader.!!!!!!
Thanks bro! And LMAO what do you mean I love that shader!! 😂
@@AboveDestinyI think he's asking which shader it is
lol I was aksking what is that shader it looks so cool
@@AboveDestiny
@@q0018 Cryptic Legacy (Deep Stone Crypt Flawless Shader)
I had no idea it worked like that for heavy ammo or for tac mag
I'm literally sitting here with tac mag, lead from gold and voltshot
💀
Bro had the goated roll all along! 😂
You would also get overcharge just by having Anti Sidearm on.
I know as a fact i dismantled a lead volt going for beacon volt
My educated guess, the game is confused because it is a sidearm, much like the game confuses WotW as a special sniper in the enclave. Hope they leave it as is. Doesn't feel game breaking as the gun isnt great with boss dps, and its not like everyone will sit in the dungeon for hours to farm the lead from gold roll
I would tend to agree. Very very good, but idk if it needs to be patched out just yet.
Well at least until Bungie sees this on social media and decide to nerf it😂
They actually acknowledged them, they will not get a nerf because they are in a spot the team is comfortable with
Attrition orbs. You spawn orbs like crazy. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm pretty sure you're wrong about no other specials being able to generate heavy bricks
They can generate normal bricks, not finders. Normal bricks will naturally appear, finders do not.
Infinite ammo = Lead from Gold and Deconstruct (don't come after me Above.. you know it to be true)
Genuinely don’t think Deconstruct is needed with Lead From Gold, so you can take a damage perk instead.
Wait, where did they ever say using special ammo doesn't generate heavy ammo? I've never heard that. Only that using the same type of ammo won't generate it, aka heavy weapon generating heavy ammo or special generating special ammo. AFAIK, any other type of ammo should generate it. People running double special weapons still generate heavy ammo..
So special weapons will eventually cause a non finder heavy brick to spawn, but they don’t spawn finders (or if they do, it takes a VERY high number of kills). But after doing a ton of testing myself and asking several top players in the community, other specials just don’t generate anywhere near the same amount of heavy, if at all.
I’ve ran warlords 3 times all armor dropped fk bungie
You are sure about the no other weapon part? Not even the Forerunner? It’s a sidearm that used special ammo which just like Indebt Kindness.
Or Erianas Vow a special hand cannon
