I'm a 54 year old grandmother and my son got me playing Destiny 2, been playing for a little over a month and I have 2 my characters at 1772 & the Warlock at 1773. I enjoy play this over COD
If you go to the hall of champions the gift of the thunderlord chest will give you all 1810 gear on all characters. I was coming back to the game and someone told me this and blew my mind.
This man has been maining nothing but Biting Winds and Eriana's Vow for the past 3-4 years since Beyond Light. Didn't know that he switched to MNK like he said in the vid, but I suppose that marks a new era for him.
@@augustcross2305I decided to swap to mnk because I got annoyed with how fast mnk players could turn LOL I play 20 sens with a 1.5ADS modifier on controller. That (for me) is way too slow. Seeing mnk players do instant and accurate 180s all the time made me want to learn the input so I could finally have a proper turn speed
I bought a PC just because how much faster D2 was on PC versus console. I had no clue about anything PC. But I’ve learned how to build them, and have been playing on them since 2017. I couldn’t bring myself to use a controller, so forced myself to use a new input, I love it. Hate controllers now.
@@StadiaTimethe biggest reason it’s fast is you can make it much faster than you move your hand or you can move your hand faster than it move. Depends on your sensitivity and dpi.
This guy fights his enemies on a psychological level and his Warlock looks like Death. I'm genuinely scared to know how many Crucible kills he has in total.
I legit got out of bed, put the build on, play tested. First few games took some adjusting, but the last 5 games before laying back down, holy shit. This build is insane.
lol I copied his build after we finished recording and took it for a spin… let’s just say I’m no Time 😂 I could aim the weapon well but my rift timing was just awful haha
@@PattycakesGaming seriously he makes freezing players from the rift look so simple but in reality he's just a god with timing it + follow up kills haha
The issue with YTers is this now you will see everyone’s who is slightly ok be waaaay better because the copy paste meta builds from ppl who play all day for years
This build really is something lol, I need to spend more time with it to get the hang of playing it (no pun intended haha). I've seen him dominate first hand in trials and win some truly unwinnable looking situations!
I've been using The Stag exclusively when I play PvP because I am really bad at PvP so I die a lot, but when I die I am put to critical health, so I get lots of rift energy, and when I die I drop the rift on death, so I still provide some value XD
I LOVE the radar timing aspect of these builds. I do something similar with a waveframe, where i now have muscle memory of how long will it take from an enemy appearing on radar to peaking the corner i expect them to, and time the GL with a perfect bow draw for an incredibly satisfying "1shot"
It's gratifying to see someone so good playing what I've always been playing since stasis came out. Gotten a few comments about wearing the stag. Sadly I'm not great at PvP, but I get those freeze around corner, melee, freeze next guy, melee, freeze next guy, melee chains every now and then and it's immensely gratifying.
Ever since I saw this video, I made a build for it, and I have to say; it has been an absolute BLAST. All the parts work so well together, Eriana's Vow is something I've never used before in PvP, even during the 1-shot body Sunspot days. Paired with the freezes it just feels so *good* every time I whip it out and dome a clean hit. What I also adore about it, is the felixibility afforded to you. It's not just an effective deterrent for overly aggressive pushers, but you can easily shift playstyle to a more offensive one; flying in with a well placed freeze shot or a sneaky rift from behind. It has worked utter wonders this first day of Trials weekend. And the weaponry has been incredible to test and use. The Prophet has been fantastic, but other incredible standouts have been Disparity, Eyasluna, Stay Frosty, and Unending Tempest. However, with the upcoming changes to stasis in TFS, I'm interested to hear Time's take on what the build will look like next season. Personally; I think Balidorse will outright replace Stag. It'll be sad to lose the faster rift cooldown, but the frost armour, spawning stasis shards to gain melee energy, and still having the benefit of a stronger super to demolish Wells and other supers? It's going to be insane. Incredible video, has changed my Warlock PvP experience forever.
54:20 Also keep an eye out for parabellum, it can roll rewind rounds and attrition orbs, which makes it generate 2 orbs per magazine if you land all your shots. Its become one of my new favorite weapons to use for pve. It can also roll deconstruct + rewind rounds which lets you unload over 2 full mags. Ill also be keeping an eye out for shoot to loot + attrition orbs, I think it will be really good, since it will let you spawn an orb then pick it up for something like devour/recuperation without actually having to walk towards the enemy youre shooting.
Bro my best memory of trials is being chased by an arc staff and I ran around the corner with frost pulse and dropped my rift, froze him, and then shot gunned him.
really love this build i swapped around weapons for stuff im more comfy with, DMT/exalted truth adept and maaaaan this build slaps ty for the deep dive video the radar trick reaaally helped with rift timing.
This man deserves some credit. That’s an actual build. I’m not good at pvp, I wish I was, but that’s not the case. Truly incredible. You can see he has passion for it I tried this build and experienced BoW titans being a problem lol. If they have BoW active you can’t 1 shot melee them after freezing them with frostpulse. You need to hit the BoW titans with Erianas
I just love the enthusiasm and how in dept you are about this build, and if i was to come up against it id be soooo pissed damn id definitely go as far as saying its toxic, but i absolutely can a appreciate how much you have mastered this, its amazing bravo dude !
I am not this guy, but holy shit. This build is the truth. I’m not a huge PvP guy, but this is some of the most fun I’ve had playing crucible in d2. Even with shit frost pulse timing, it still puts in work. I don’t have Eriana’s, so I’ve been using Duality as a substitute, as it can still pick up a kill on a frozen guardian at close range in pellet mode, or hit decently hard at mid range in slug mode(it just lacks the ammo efficiency of Eriana’s). I also found coldsnap to be better for me, as if they don’t push me I can just throw it out and push them instead.
Currently, Recuperation does not stack even though it says it does in-game, according to D2 Data Compendium. He talked about a surge mod, could be a good replacement. In the same vein of using Keep Away or Threat Detector to know timing, the Dares or Eternity helmet glows when there's enemies around.
The healing rift animation being slower than the empowering rifts pisses me off so hard. I've always felt like the animation for healing rifts when trying to do a frostpulse build was just too long to consistently get the melee if the enemy was a little to far away. Now I know why ._.
Easily one of the best destiny videos I’ve seen all year. Time belongs at NASA though, almost feel like he’s wasting his exceptional intellect on this game. I welcome the big brain energy regardless. Solid stuff fellas.
playing against this guy on stadia in private matches felt like I was subjecting myself to sadistic pleasure... bows and grenade launcher bounces I remember the pain
What a big brain build! And perfectly for player like me. I engage in long range since I don’t have the reflex for shotgun/smg jumping. I get shut down by a rush but this has huge benefits for my style
I'm doing the same, learning m&k after over 20 years of controller(probably more like 30) and it's tough. I just built my first PC in over a decade and moved from the PS5, and I hadn't played m&k on anything but sim games since maybe OG Doom in the 90s. So I decided to learn. For the first couple weeks I had my controller plugged in so I could swap to it when shit got real, like waves 30-50 in legend onslaught or Trials, but I realized it was a crutch and I'd never learn if I relied on having the controller as a backup. So I've been on m&k exclusively for around a week now and I've gotten a lot better. My pvp stats have still tanked lol, but I've went from a dear in headlights when I get pushed, forgetting where every key is, to being "average". I've got a long way to go but I'm guessing in a month I'll be passable. I've sat a goal of by the time Final Shape comes out I'll be good enough to use m&k on day 1 raids and be able to get a flawless with m&k only week 1 of Trials.
I have been running this build for the better part of a year (subclass and aspects not weapons). I have lost so many fights from not getting the melee kill after using HEALING rift. So excited to try empowering rift now.
The only other stasis gimmicky build i've played like this was a streamer (do not remember their name, I was the potato in this scenario; my much better friends were helping me go Flawless and they recognized him). But they were using 3 stasis titans, cerberus +1, glacier grenades, and just going crazy with double nades and shatter damage. It was painful.
A build that focuses on making it impossible for opponents to fight back with long range burst damage sounds really healthy for the crucible experience.
StadiaTime striking back against the world for taking Stadia from him 😈 He's totally right about Frostpulse. I took a break over Season 23 (until Into the Light dropped), and after my first two games back in Crucible, I had been run down by so many shotgunmers (who I couldn't always duel back with my limited special ammo) that I switched to Shadebinder and suddenly felt like I was borderline cheesing them.
I run this load out with solar on my hunter because Erianas is one of my favorite handcannons in the game, so glad to see others give this gun the love it deserves
Bro I’m not gonna lie I never even noticed that the radar would light outer parts and inner parts of the radar like that. It’s so subtle I never picked up on it. Ty for pointing this out!!!
Casting Empowering Rift also provides, I think, 10-15% damage reduction in PVP during its animation only as well. I know it's 20% in PVE, but not sure in PVP
I have been using this build pretty much since shade binder came out and have been preaching it like gospel. Except I like using my sturm and drang with this build
Dope build...have used it in three PVP matches so far & holy hell I suck something awful with the timing, I have missed about 90% of the things I have tried but I can definitely tell how effective it would be just from the 10% of stuff that I'm landing.
Okay I did not knew that the slice had a brighter top and bottom mechanic to them. I only know of crusts and slice and center. now i know about the inner bright i can use it to my advantage!
I was in the reverse situation. I been a mouse and keyboard player all of my life and I decided to retire being a PC gamer and game part time on console. I always thought I’d just gradually get better and I never did. I was decent ADS but was awful at hip firing. Making games like OVerwatch unplayable. I ended up installing fortnite and playing in custom aim practice lobbies for a few weeks. And I’ve seen fast improvement on all shooters I play. The most work I noticed I needed was flicking and tracking. I haven’t had to go back to fortnite to brush up on skills since.
I'm trying it with Last Rite but man this thing feels inconsistent for some reason. I miss bullets entirely at point blank when I see it clearly should have hit them in the face. Fun build though! Definitely getting better at it with time. Can a 120 HC replace the scout?
Nice one. I run this on my Solar Hunter as my fun 6s Loadout. Prophet (Killclip) + light Throwing knife Eriana + light Eriana + Prophet All of them are a Kill With the speed loader for maximal Handeling and reload speed its easy to get the combo started.
So many new builds in this game now. Crazy new weapons too. I just got back into destiny 2 after not playing for 8 months and there’s so many new things. Ik final shape is next month tho. I’m still rocking my warlock with starfire protocol cuz that was the big thing back when it was broken😭 it’s not as good anymore. The ONLY GOOD thing about my warlock is I have quadruple 100 stats and I’ve had them regardless of season changes. Might need to just try out other builds tho tbh
I saw this video come out but held off fully watching it and the erianas vow mind game trick ive been using on ticuus for ages shoot one hipfire tickling them for like 40 at most and headshot to one shot them plus radiant and you can kill overguarded enemies most of the time

Prophet (Killclip) + light Throwing knife
Eriana + light
Eriana + Prophet
All of them are a Kill
With the speed loader for maximal Handeling and reload speed its easy to get the combo started.
16:40 who's shitting what and when - IS a dirty little mind trick XD
Wow thanks for this video-Time knows his stuff!!❤
That build of 100 regin and defense is sexy af
So many new builds in this game now. Crazy new weapons too. I just got back into destiny 2 after not playing for 8 months and there’s so many new things. Ik final shape is next month tho. I’m still rocking my warlock with starfire protocol cuz that was the big thing back when it was broken😭 it’s not as good anymore.
The ONLY GOOD thing about my warlock is I have quadruple 100 stats and I’ve had them regardless of season changes. Might need to just try out other builds tho tbh
seeing all his weapon and armor slots completely filled up gives me anxiety
what about the gloves and chest mods didnt see him show them?
Hey!!! My buddy from Stadia!! TIME!!!!
What you think about Aeons for rift energy on this build. I use it for strand hunter class ability and it's nuts.
I saw this video come out but held off fully watching it and the erianas vow mind game trick ive been using on ticuus for ages shoot one hipfire tickling them for like 40 at most and headshot to one shot them plus radiant and you can kill overguarded enemies most of the time
