I am so glad you enjoyed this. I won’t bombard you with her but she is my very favorite and her book is rich and full . She was a Broadway phenomenon in late 90’s starring in Jekyl and Hyde before she decided it was not for her and bought a horse farm and gave up the stage but still records and performs with symphony orchestras and in high end dinner clubs. And her voice is a knockout and always the same. The smile on your face was worth the wait to get a song on air.
I am a subscriber to Linda Eder's channel and when this notification popped up I first thought it was from that channel. Wow! I am so happy to see a reaction to this fantastic lady. I have seen her live many times. I am from the Houston area and the Alley Theatre in Houston was the home to the beginnings and creation of the musical Jekyll and Hyde which she starred in (her then husband wrote and produced it, I think). I saw one of the initial performances. She has a great rapport with H-town. I have been to her club shows and with the Houston Orchestra several times. She always delivers with that amazing voice and fabulous personality. Her "Bring on the Men" from the original stage show of Jekyll and Hyde is an absolute show-stopper. On a side note, my absolute first love is and always will be Olivia Newton-John but Linda is right behind. And I recently found out that Linda is a huge ONJ fan and made a great tribute video on her channel, plus she has now included "I Honestly Love You" on her stage shows, which she is now paying tribute to some fabulous female singers who have passed away.
I am a native houstonian and my wife was the choir director at Kingwood High School in the early 90’ and we also first saw her at the alley and had the good fortune to see Jekyl in Atlanta later in the decade just before it went to roadway. My very favorite and I have to confess I recommended this and have been trying to get her on for a few months. Was very happy with Angela’s reaction.
Finally a few people reacting to Linda Eder. Been a fan since I saw her in 1988 on star search. Been asking people for years to do this. A few you need to check out man of la mancha, rain on my parade, Someone like you, Vienna, In his Eyes (Duet with Christiana Noel), A new life, Gold (which is my favorite) Several others
She's a class act. Her most badass song is probably "Man of La Mancha" from Women of Broadway. Guaranteed to love. Caught her show in Charlotte. Brilliant!
Another new tune for my ears! It has a Big Band Vibe to it! 1930's, 1940's. and early 1950's! You know what I mean! It makes one feel like going ballroom dancing and or Las Vegas! Stay cool cats!
Thanks for kind words I was able to create a Linda Eder Pandora Channel on Sirius and I listen to it quite a bit. Plenty of Broadway style music plus artists like Buble…Streisand …Celine but a lot of her stuff and other Broadway.
Next ladies night, give Nancy LaMott a chance…Not Exactly Paris. It’s beautiful. And, another Linda Eder, well, two…Vienna, and, my fave, Don’t Ask Me Why
Hi Angela - loved this reaction to one of my favourite singers - The power of Linda Eder's voice in live performance is something to behold - if you have the chance to listen to or watch this video of her singing "Don't rain on my Parade" (or maybe even react to it) it will knock you out -- ua-cam.com/video/I_6n3drbhV0/v-deo.html
Damn why haven’t I ever heard of her before, what a voice a what an awesome song

Listen to This Time Around by her
Awesome!!
How is she NOT on Sinatra's XM channel??? O.m.g. 😳
I read Mr. Hackett' s comment. What a loss to the stage...

So beautiful! She does have a similar sound to Barbara Streisand. Could you please react to "I believe you" by Karen Carpenter?
Hi Ms. D., A good one and I must confess, a new one for me.. ♠W.G.
Next ladies night, give Nancy LaMott a chance…Not Exactly Paris. It’s beautiful.

I love Nancy LaMott…like a Lover is great song also done by Sergio Mendez. Nice to see someone else with similar tastes.
Fine 😃😃
I think that you are doing a good job... here's a song that you might like... C. W McCall "Roses for mama"

Your choice was my recommendation for covers month but unfortunately it did not make the cut. She’s remarkable.
Thanks!
