When I started my own business I was doing everythin(landscaping, gardening, painting, exterior cleaning), but 3 years ago I dropped everything but exterior cleaning, roofs, gutters, softwashing, pressure washing, window cleaning,If you do all these things you don't need to go into gardening to keep you busy, or hanging Christmas lights.Usually we are crazy busy in summer but when things are slowing down, just enjoy a bit and relax a bit.I am big believer of doing one thing and doing it right, if you focus all your energy in one place you have way bigger chance of succeeding.

I'm thinking of starting out as a sole trader and pressure washing. Im so sick of the corperate life. Your videos have been so helpful, thank you!
I'm thinking of starting off small and hopefully growing where I can then afford other services.

Love watching the channel, Looking to get into this type of work next year, but in Norway.
1 thing im going to add to mine is fire wood. 2 of my family back in Newcastle both have wood burning fires now, and i hear its getting more popular up and down the country, for those who do have a fire, im pretty sure they will pay to have it delivered, just like your other services, just add a minimum amount.
Anyway thanks for all the good advice on your channel.

Do you return to take down the Xmas lights with that same initial price?

No I generally charge £30-35 in the new year, this is mentioned in the initial quote.
