When the movie was being shot, Mike Myers wanted to include Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen into the film; but Lorne Michaels, the executive producer of the movie, wasn’t sure that song would work in the movie. Myers insisted it could not only fit; that it would be an iconic moment in the film. Michaels relented.
Myers then reached out to Queen (specifically Brian May & Roger Taylor), to ask for permission to use the song in the movie. Remember, at this point in time, no one knew how sick Freddie Mercury was. So imagine if you will, in the few short months after Mercury’s death in 1991, Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody became a huge hit in part of Wayne’s World. And then almost 25 years later, Mike Myers would have a cameo in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie; in a scene that would harken back and reference the head banging scene in this film.

You will love "So I Married An Axe Murderer".
Mike Myers came from an alternative comedy background with heavy influence from classic British Comedy (Monty Python, Spike Milligan etc.) so his rise to fame in the US was pretty unique at the time (still is, I think). Outside of the dated cultural references, he uses them with great charm that makes the jokes timeless in a way.

There was a roller coaster called The Hurler, a Stan Mikita’s Doughnuts, and a replica of Garth’s car.
Wayne’s World 2 is worth watching. It’s hilarious but doesn’t really have the magic the first one did.

Every Canadian can gel with the street hockey scene we know exactly how it is.
In Canada in the summer we’d play hockey in the street. Not just one on one. Like ten kids would show up and someone’s mom would bring us lemonade.
Sure there’s no ice nor a puck but we had tennis balls. We’d still gear up and play hockey. And the law be damned. We always moved the nets if a car was coming by.
    This scene is incredibly accurate.
“CAR! GAME ON”. Is not a joke. We did this as kids. This. Exact. Thing.

If you have ever seen the film Bohemian Rhapsody Mike Myers played the role of the producer who turned Queen away and refused to allow them to use that song on their album which ultimately lead to them leaving that company. Really amazing cameo I've always felt tied back to this move which came out over 20 years before.

A trained singer, Tia Carrere performed all of her own songs in the first film, and the Wayne's World soundtrack features her vocals. She turned down a role in Baywatch to audition for Wayne's World. In 1992, People named her to its annual "50 most beautiful people" list.
The role I remember her most for though is as *Professor Sydney Fox,* on the TV series *"Relic Hunter"* (Think Indiana Jones, crossed with Lara Croft 😎). For it's 3 season run from 1999 to 2002
The *"Mission Impossible Theme"* is originally from the TV series (7 season's)1966 to 1973. I'd suggest watching them, before getting into the movies(not a must, but could be helpful.. no need to do reactions ...unless You 'really' want to)
    There's also a 2 season remake/sequel series, that ran from 1988 to 1990.
