@@Jomomma1Some people keep their voices. Steve Winwood is still going strong. Paul Rodgers. Glenn Hughes. Terry had a fantastic voice on his youth, much similar to the late Steve Marriott.

Heartbreaking. Terry had all the ingredients to be huge, but he just never got there. Seeing him play dive bars to keep the lights on at the tail end of his life is crushing
This is not a dive bar and the gig was absolute magic. I guess you don’t know about the history of the Pioneertown Palace. The place is also close to Terry’s home in Palm Springs. He’s a local! Pre pandemic he used to play here often. Heres hoping.
I wanna go back to 1993 and listen to Reid play like this instead of the stupid drunken road I was on that lasted until 2012. Something so soothing seeing Reid all older and wiser jamming away.
What a lot of younger people dont understand about music from the 70s musicians voices change so they change the way the song is to accommodate their deeper voices.Terry has always been known for playing the song differently but with pure emotion. This sounds great
JD's kitchen brought me here. How have I never heard of this guy.? Love his voice and chilled vibe. Amazing how watching the trail and Amber's turd opened the path to this music.

seemed like an off night, the show at mccabes was mind blowing, crisp, clean and even more experimental than this. he played probably one of the best things i’ve ever heard on a guitar that night and giggled after and said “that sounded kind of psychedelic” and winked... something tells me he got dosed before this show and the mccabes show was the comedown maybe idk
He loves this storied venue and he was having a great night. Sadly the venue has been taken over by a strange crowd. They aren't booking the acts that they once did.
Yes he was and he told Page “I don't want to be the singer in a band I got my own thing...” he woulda been an amazing singer for Zeppelin. But Percy is our man
I don't know what you're listening to, but this is a gorgeous rambling version with the kind of improv that Terry's always been known for. Try and get to hear debut album. Especially ‘Stay With Me Baby’ just what a heart-broken teenager needed to rest his shoulder on way back some 50 years and so. As others say it was a spiteful twist of Fate TR never got just recognition in the Pantheon of guitar & voice. Cool posting! 🎸 John Kennedy UK

It would help if he rehearsed the band - nobody except him knows what's going on...kind of. Shame. But there is a certain charm. Still, a performance like this could explain why his career went nowhere. He always seemed to approach his music and life with a carefree 'as it happens' attitude. An undeniable talent that was undeniably unsuitable for the rigours of corporate-controlled music making.
Bass player was lost more than anyone really. Half the time he wasn't even playing & when he was he seemed totally lost which really put the sourness into the mix, so don't blame it all on Terry.
@@gregcohen6158 no. He was 19 I think. He was a solo artist under contract and had just landed a gig opening for the Stones on a tour.
