the 80's were marked by big hair bands, but this is what the cool kids were listening too. This song has been in my library since it was released and I still listen to it regularly. Check out the rest of their library, it's worth it!

Hi,this just popped up and wow...what a band,I've just been playing their stuff and buying in the last week.
Savatage are now prepping to record their final and farewell album for a 2024 release,their first since 2001's 'Poets And Madmen'
There is a big Savatage family that includes The Trans Siberian Orchestra that plays on both East & West coast of USA with seperate productions...a holiday/Xmas style of rock,metal,classics etc

Long Live Savatage!! Jon Oliva (the bands founding lead singer/main songwriter) revealed on a podcast last week that he and other Savatage alumni have been writing new material since their performance at Wacken Open Air 2015 (Jon himself has written several albums worth) and considering all the boredom that's setting in with so many musicians, he's saying a new Savatage album is very likely! They haven't released new material since 2001's Poets and Madmen (check out the track Morphine Child)

You might already know this, but to someone who does not, the intro to this song is a metal version of Greig’s masterpiece which actually sounds pretty good, so good in fact, that later on in this bands future they formed what is now known as ‘Trans Siberian Orchestra’ aka TSO, which performs all around the USA around the holiday season. It is a great show!
