I've always been a fan of the matte finish look. Although I wouldn't put this on my personal vehicle I definitely like the look of it. I wonder what this hypershifts would look like over a contrasting color like a yellow or orange. I also wonder what yellow submarine would look like over electric lime 😂 I still have my fingers crossed that you'll do it some day 🤞🤞love you guys
I have never been a fan of the matte finish until now - when it's a single color, it just looks too plain IMO... but I really like the results of this, it looks like anodized aluminum. You've made a believer out of me, keep up the good work. 5/5!
I immediately though “Frozen Fire” when you put that hypershift powder in. Honestly, I prefer a matte finish over the hypershifts and pearls. I love that subtle shift of color. Draws you in closer to scope the details.
This is fighting for a spot in my top 5 colors you have done. Love the "brushed metal" look of it. And the large shifts make it dazzling. 5/5 will highly recommend.
Love it! I am personally not a huge fan of the plum-iness of the hypershift, but it's impossible to ignore how great the finish itself looks. If I (again, personally, not for video) could have a similar blue hue that shifted more into a dark gray/midnight blue, this finish would brilliantly accentuate the combination. Great video that illustrates the strength of that frozen finish. Well chosen and executed.
2 things: Have you ever done your wheels to match the car? I'm curious what it would look like with color shift on your car and wheels at the same time. Also, still waiting for your bright yellow with glow in the dark!
5 out of 5. Love the look. By the way, you guys need to revisit the matte candy red video and use the next gen frozen top coat. I think it’s going to look even closer to an anodized version than the matte top coat gave you.
I am a fan of the frozen matte finish, it is quite classy and elegant. Although I might not choose that shift myself I really appreciate the overall look. Nice work
i will be honest here, i am not a car guy i couldn't care less how it looks on the car and the end results, but dam the bit when you mix it in that container is so satisfying to watch its like a watching some weird cosmic nebula trapped in a jar and i cant get enough of it
Ngl fascinated by this color shift. I've noticed certain colors here really remind me of things I've seen elsewhere and this is no exception--looks like the sky at twilight, going from sunset into dusk. Really really cool effect. Thanks for sharing! :D
Always love seeing you guys push the envelope with new stuff. Im curious to see if you can spray other materials other than a car or wheels......maybe something wood or plastic or something metal other than a car
11/11 Assertive, but in a very elegant way. The matte finish slows down the brain's response, I think and gives the person looking at it a chance to really 'see' what's going on. Love it!!!!
It looks quite good. Definitely a solid 5. The lack of glare lets the effect pop in a way that very high sheen finishes may not. Whether I'd do a matte finish or not would be a nuanced decision. I'd definitely not throw out the possibility. I'd love to see the blue to black ZBB hypershift in this.
Love the heavy satin finish and the shift from blue to purple is just amazing...However I feel it makes the amber look a little dirty. I think that maybe the lighter/brighter colours suffer a little with the "frozen" top coat. Apart from that I think its cool.
OMG this is absolutely amazing! I love the deep blues and purples. It almost looks like when dusk really settles in and the first glimpses of night are on the horizon.😍😍😍 5/5!!
I've grown a bit tired of seeing so may high-end cars locally with flat black wraps and paint; but this is something unique and eye-catching that I could see myself actually wanting on a ride. Very sharp!
I didn’t think I would, but I like it. I want to see you lay this down with a reverse shifting racing stripe. For instance- something that is predominantly amber, but shifts to purple as a stripe on this predominantly purple that shifts to amber.
That car is amazeballs...look like armor or a prismatic bug shell, somehow hypnotic :) Would love to see a red to green spectrum sometime, or holographic :)
I think this is amazing!! because the frozen mutes down the shift a little it means the transitions between the colours is a lot more defined (less graduation). Along with the generally more aggressive vibes of the Matt finish this works amazingly well.
I love the way it goes from a bluish purple to a wine to a rich amber/brown. And the more I see matte finishes the more I like them and this one is awesome. 5+
I love when y'all spray the Audi cause I have an 09 A8L and the lines are fairly similar giving me a good idea of how mine would look. This is the hottest deep freeze I've ever seen!!!
Looks amazing? Love how the Frozen finish keeps the background reflective details muted, so clouds/trees/grass/buildings are interfering with the view.
Not normally a fan of matte, but this looks great. I'd love to see that red to black shift (can't remember the name) done in matte, I think that would look sick
Straight up, love it. I love Matt finishes on cars, and that is a 10 out of 5. One day, just one day I will have the money to buy a kit of you, and that is the kit I'm getting. Dude, that looks sick and would look great on my 2017 Rex.
Spray that same FROZEN hypershift over a teal base. Tone down the magenta of the purple while retaining some indigo, maybe bring the electric blue closer to a seafoam-blue. I'd love to see it!
It reminds me of those hot wheels that used to change colors under hot water... honestly thought flattening the finish would take away alot of the shift but it maintained beautifully
I'd say this is closer to the welded titanium look you were trying for a few videos ago. This mix is sublime, you keep getting different saturation and shifts, even across the relatively boxy shape of the Audi. Would love to see how it works on a more rounded vehicle
I'm not even all that into cars, let alone matte finishes, but good lord this ones an easy 5/5 for me. Great work as is everything else I've seen from you is. (as little as that is)
*Who's got love for the low sheen vibes?*
I absolutely love the way that the frozen finish looks. Solid 5 for me.
THAT is fantastic! 5/5
It's like painting a sunset on your car. My fav one yet. Thanks Fonz
That's wild! Absolutely love it! Can we see the same with ZBB? Highly pigment load with that frozen top coat would look sick.
5 I loved it before the moment I seen it mixed!
I think green/gold in low sheen would look awesome.
This is my new favorite that you’ve done. The frozen finish looks amazing. A 5 for sure.
I've always been a fan of the matte finish look. Although I wouldn't put this on my personal vehicle I definitely like the look of it. I wonder what this hypershifts would look like over a contrasting color like a yellow or orange. I also wonder what yellow submarine would look like over electric lime 😂 I still have my fingers crossed that you'll do it some day 🤞🤞love you guys
love you too buddy
I agree I'd like to see that combo
I have never been a fan of the matte finish until now - when it's a single color, it just looks too plain IMO... but I really like the results of this, it looks like anodized aluminum. You've made a believer out of me, keep up the good work. 5/5!

Great video that illustrates the strength of that frozen finish. Well chosen and executed.
Same, the plum-crazy purple from the late 60's early70's is probably the best violet/purple existing in the car painting history (and my fave).
2 things: Have you ever done your wheels to match the car? I'm curious what it would look like with color shift on your car and wheels at the same time.
Also, still waiting for your bright yellow with glow in the dark!
Amen I just mentioned that 💯
5 out of 5. Love the look.
By the way, you guys need to revisit the matte candy red video and use the next gen frozen top coat. I think it’s going to look even closer to an anodized version than the matte top coat gave you.
Yeah, I'm really liking that. Love the satin finish with the hypershift. Definitely a 5 of 5 from me.
I am a fan of the frozen matte finish, it is quite classy and elegant. Although I might not choose that shift myself I really appreciate the overall look. Nice work
This looks great! Another great combo would probably be blue interference pearls over a white base. My guess is it would look like an ice sculpture.
i will be honest here, i am not a car guy i couldn't care less how it looks on the car and the end results, but dam the bit when you mix it in that container is so satisfying to watch its like a watching some weird cosmic nebula trapped in a jar and i cant get enough of it
This is the prettiest dip I’ve ever seen, and my daughter agrees. We love the matte finish, it’s very sophisticated. ❤❤❤

Love your description
@@FragrantlyOdious 😄 Thank you! Really glad I could explain the vibe there clearly.
That is SICK. I'm interested. I love glass coats, but you have to appreciate the amount of color saturation the matte finish has.
Love the matte finish
Hits hard! Always been a fan of matte/satin finishes! Frozen is right up my alley! 😂
By far my favorite hypershift you guys have and the matte finish looks amazing.
Wow!!!!!!
Just, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤
Have you ever done anything over a white base?
It looks surreal 🤩 I love it!!!
This is one of the best ones I've seen here. 5/5. Please do a few more with the frozen, it looks great.
Always love seeing you guys push the envelope with new stuff. Im curious to see if you can spray other materials other than a car or wheels......maybe something wood or plastic or something metal other than a car

PLEASE START DOING MOTORCYCLES! If not.. why not? And could you do more videos on your process to remove the dip, how long it takes, etc.?
I've been thinking of doing mine for years. Disassembly would be a nightmare on my street glide
@@kevin61906 Same here. I'd love to do my Road Star, but would still love to see some bike dip videos.
I second @DaveDoesLife Please do a motorcycle.
Plenty of us watching on here.
Thanks.

Cleared right over the taillights. Love it. Great finished product.
Love the color but for me needs to be shiney
OMG this is absolutely amazing! I love the deep blues and purples. It almost looks like when dusk really settles in and the first glimpses of night are on the horizon.😍😍😍 5/5!!
Yeah, 5 !! I really like that finish. It's nearly "flat" and shifts like crazy. Love that !!
My wife and I watch your vids after I've gotten off work, and we give this one a 5. It's absolutely GORGEOUS!
Holy smokes! I have been slowly coming around to this type of finish! I think it even looks sicker with that hypershift! Stunning!❤
Five!!! By far the best hypershift so far. It’s both classy and sophisticated! IMHO, adding a fine gold flake would make it look even better.
This might be one of my favorites to date.
Love it!
More shifting matte finishes please.
Gorgeous. I had no idea matte could look so good. New favorite unlocked!
5/5 love this! I would love to see more hypershifts with this matte finish!
I've grown a bit tired of seeing so may high-end cars locally with flat black wraps and paint; but this is something unique and eye-catching that I could see myself actually wanting on a ride. Very sharp!
I'm a huge fan of matte finishes, and this combo looks amazing! Definitely a 10/5
I've never been a fan of matte finishes, but you just changed AND blew my mind! Amazing!
a major 5! I LOVE this finish. I thought I really liked the high shine but this is way more my style.
This opens the door for a lot of the other hyper shifts. Looks very nice.
I really like this !!! That mat finish really looks great !!! I’ll give it a 5 !!
The matte really smooths out the color transitions. I'd give this a 5 all day every day..
these deep intense blues you've been showcasing are amazing. my fav color cobalt blue so you are knocking these outta the park
Tbh I’ve always loved matte finishes more and I love how this turned out! When I get my own project car I’m definitely using this exact stuff on it!
Solid 5! Great color, dramatic shift and smooth soft finish! Classy
5 out of 5!!! That is hands down my favorite finish/hypershift of all time!
Probably one of the dopest matte finishes I've ever seen 😮
Wow the frozen works really well!! As you can see the colours shift better without any reflections! It's a massive 5/5!!
I LOVE IT!!! 5+ the effect given by the finish the colour. In fact absolutely everything.
Definitely a good look. I’m very into matte colors. This is very nice. My wife even likes this one. Awesome.
One of the best ones yet guys... that hypershift looks great with the frozen 👍👍
Sick. I love the matte finish. Looks incredible. Would love to see more videos with the frozen top coat!
The burnished metal finish really does it for me and I think this could look really nice on many body types.
Absolutely love this! Have you considered creating kits to dip motorcycles ?
I’m digging this!! It’s sleek and subtle! My wife’s Q3 might be getting this treatment!
Fantastic. The frozen gives the finish a glow rather than a sparkle. 5+
That looks amazing! You're making me want to pull the trigger on ZGY with this frozen top coat. This is one of my new favorites!
I love when y'all spray the Audi cause I have an 09 A8L and the lines are fairly similar giving me a good idea of how mine would look. This is the hottest deep freeze I've ever seen!!!
I LOOOVE it...looks kinda like anodized aluminum. Cant wait to see other mix like this
Didn't think that I would like the matte finish, but that came out awesome! That's a 5 for me!
Looks amazing? Love how the Frozen finish keeps the background reflective details muted, so clouds/trees/grass/buildings are interfering with the view.
I love what this does in the shadows. Maybe not this color, but I'd go with something like this for my car.
I want to see ZBB in both of the new finishes!
This one came out AWESOME. 5/5
5 for sure!!! I am completely in love with the olive honey with the gunmetal base, I bet that would be spectacular with this frozen top!!!😅😅
This would look awesome with that 'cell shaded' look that's been going around, painting the edges of the body panels black with a little dry brushing.
This one is definitely a 50 out of 5. Holy Cow!!! That is the most beautiful thing I've seen in a long time.
5/5❤❤❤ loving that frozen finish. Making me love mattes!
5. Holy cow. I love matte finishes and a matte hypershift is straight fire.
I love the muted effect! Not a huge fan of the salmon/peach/amber colour, but the overall effect is stunning.
OMFG I’m in love 😍 this is a huge massive 5 from me. I do love a Matt finish and this is definitely your best so far x
I love the matte/frozen look. This is beautiful!
I’m 2:12 mins in and I already know I’m going to love it. I love that pearl. Amazing Colour saturation
Not normally a fan of matte, but this looks great. I'd love to see that red to black shift (can't remember the name) done in matte, I think that would look sick
Looks awesome almost gives it an iridescent glow
It's a 5, love the finish! Would love to see a vintage velvet wall paper texture look.
With this pearl and this finish, the car almost seems to have a sort of glow to it. It looks amazing.
That blue frozen looks sick.. solid pearl blue frozen is to me the perfect color
Amazing. Hands down one of my favorites from your most recent videos. Can't wait to see more like this. 5/5
This is a "5" all day long! What a great finish - the apparent lack of orange peel surface is very, very encouraging...
It reminds me of those hot wheels that used to change colors under hot water... honestly thought flattening the finish would take away alot of the shift but it maintained beautifully
It's got more of a velvet look to it. I love it!
I'd say this is closer to the welded titanium look you were trying for a few videos ago.
This mix is sublime, you keep getting different saturation and shifts, even across the relatively boxy shape of the Audi.
Would love to see how it works on a more rounded vehicle
Literally a matte version of Midnight Purple 3 from the Nissan Skyline R34. Love it!
I think that the frozen finish provides a more subtle change to the hyper shift. I love it....
Wow...very good result,I love it!It goes very well with the color of the rims also!
was not expecting that, wow love the frozen finish
Solid five from me. Those color shifts are very smooth and has an awesome look overall.
That blue is absolutely beautiful.... Blue to amber would be amazing in that sheen. Def not a fan purple hue... Good work for sure
5. I love colors and finishes like this that are not achievable with paint. It’s mind blowing that you can peel that off.
wow, that turned out amazing! what about trying a contrasting base color instead of black with it next time? I love the matte finish!
I'm not even all that into cars, let alone matte finishes, but good lord this ones an easy 5/5 for me. Great work as is everything else I've seen from you is. (as little as that is)
I’m not a matte finish type but that paint combination is gorgeous. Absolutely love this!!!!!
