Worth the risk in my opinion. 5 for sure. But. Next time you do a combination of colors can we get a speed shape of the individual colors so we can really see how it changes them? I think that would bring a whole other level to things.
I give it a 4.5 out of 5. I think a 1.5:1 ratio would have let more of the darker end of the colorshift show through rather than muting it as much. I'm not a huge fan of the bright yellow-green at the lightest end personally, but its still an absolutely gorgeous color overall!
After about a minute I started to understand that this scheme had a lot more going for it than I thought at first. Nobody's gonna risk it on a rental lot, but then NONE of these color giants have the slightest thing to do with rental lots.
Watching all these paint colors makes me want to paint my camper! A brown to hunter green would be an awesome shift for the outdoors man. You are inspiring me to see what I can come up with
First of all I just want to say I really like these mad scientist style kind of videos where you try everything WE would like to try. Secondly, this color is a 5 for me! Damn I liked it!
5. The color reminds me of how dragons are described in some fantasy novels. Love it. Probably the best one I’ve seen, but I could be biased because green is my favorite color and I love sparkly things.
I think using multiple sticks of truth to compare and contrast each change in pigment load would be beneficial. Overall, id say its a 3. maybe over a silver basecoat to make it really bright.
You guys just mixed my favorite all time color shift ZTG with my favorite color pearl Radioactive, and it looks great 🙂 I’m not sure if it looks any better than either by itself, but I’d still give it a 5 👍
Solid 4! The color shift is pretty small but this is a really great green. That gold shimmer along with wheels makes a good combo. I think it's a great alternative for people who want a green that's loud but not obxious
LOVE IT!! Def a 5 in my book 😊 And I think the perfect name for that blend would be Leprechaun Gold. You've got the leprechaun green gold color, then it shifts and disappears, lol!
Gotta admire a man who plasti-dips entire cars, plays with pigments, and not only turned it into a successful business models but also into stunning videos.
Fantastic! Like a 4.9 out of 5. I just wish that the color shift didn't stop at the dark, vaugely tealish green and it shifted further/earlier into cyan, blue, and then ended at a purple, so you have bright lime yellow green as the main highlight and other greens, blues, and a purple around it
Love the page and all, but have you guys ever thought about adding a painting rims pairing portion to the show? Like besides picking the car color also choose a rim color too! I think it would be an awesome addition and a great way to showcase the possibilities 🤙
Give it a damn 5!!! On camera it seems to shift S L O W L Y from radioactive green, to a darker shade of pearlescent green, then slowly to a blue hue. I like it.
I have a question. Do you remove the masking after the basecoat, then remask the car before you do these pearl/hypershift coats? The reason I ask is you have to remove the masking before the dip dries or it's difficult to remove without damage. So between spraying your basecoat and recording these videos it has to be dry. So I assume it can't be the original masking, because that would have had to be removed before the basecoat dried? I hope that makes sense
Such a beautiful outcome. I think this should be done over plum crazy purple. Maybe even adding some glow in the dark pigment to give it some extra pop at night.
I've easily seen dozens of your videos, and without a doubt, this color is top 3. Maybe even my all-time favorite. 5 of 5 all day. Great choice. Thank you.
0:10 LOLOL Love the opening banter.. my first thought was Fonzie was channeling Capt Kirk.. well to be honest this IS his Star-ship and he IS the driving force behind it.. :)
Oh this is amazing! I might have added one more of the more neon colour since it was boosting the yellow-green which is my favourite colour, but love it how it turned out anyway. This with holographic over the top would be perfection. I don't even drive and I'd want a car that colour.
4.5/5 almost perfect for my taste although I'd like a little brighter green but I don't wanna loose that awesome emerald green / blueish hue it shifts into so I'm not sure if it would be even possible without causing an issue by adding more radioactive green. THX for doing these awesome experiments. I will have to try getting my Octavia VRS done with a hypershift someday 🙂
Don't know why the algorithm pushed this video to recommended, but it nailed it. Super glad to have found this channel. As for the color. 4.9 out of 5. I feel like it lost just a little bit of the dramatic shift, but the color is gorgeous.
Okay, I love your Hyper Videos, and the mad scientist risks that you do to showcase your paints for potential customers to see what they could do to their own cars. I am really impressed with the green, it is stunning, the blue not so much,. This is purely my own opinion though, and the paint job is stunning!, over all a 5 def. I would really like to see a green to red shift with the same radioactive green, maybe a apple red. I just felt the dark colour of the blue/purple took something from the radioactive green.
It's a 4.5. I love it when you do this. One thing that I think would be cool for comparison is to spray some speed shapes with each of the colors used and put them on the hood when you are done. That way we can see what each of the colors look like on there own. Keep up the great work.
I really love the radioactive green and I would like to have that colour always. With most hypershifts I see a really nice colour, but it shifts into a colour that I don't like. I love these experiment video's and the contrast between excitement between you two is hilarious 😂
5 for sure. It reminds me a lot of the Rescue Green you can get on the 2007-2009ish Jeep Wrangler, but it's got more depth to it. I would love to see this color on a Jeep.
Love how it goes from a sort of blue-green to green to yellow-green almost gold. Almost wish it had been 50/50 to bring out a little more blue. But this is really pretty. 👍
I definitely Wouldn't mind if Mine was that color do it in a heart beat. Love the way it turned out. I like how bright green it is and how it shifts to more a darker color of it
5! One of my favorite colors has always been kawasaki candy lime green. This combo is essentially a shift centered around that! I may actually do this to a bike.
That colors is fitting for the WRX, especially with those rims. Had this been done on an RS6 I don’t think it would look half as good. But damn it’s working with WRX.
This is a 5. You got the radioactive green 🍏 to a gorgeous teal blue. We love watching you guys. Thank you. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
love this one 4/5 reminds me of an idea i habe for you maybe you can try mixing an interference pearl hypershift with the glow in the dark powder ontop of either an offwhite base coat or a plain primer base coat
I say a high 3 the wheel color takes away from the car, the gold clashes too much, maybe if it was on something gloss black or a brushed finish with a flush fitment would complement it better.
Beautiful color. Id like to see tou guys start using Aluminum as the bas color more often, i think it would really make the colors pop. Great work as always guys. 👍
Pretty nice! Glad to see you did something about those headlights ;D can't tell if you just polished them or what, but definitely better than the haze they had before.
Nice color idea, but I think you have overdone it with the second bag of Radioactive. It did look good on the Stick of Truth, but in the end it drowned out too much of the blue tones for me, more a transient from the Radioactive to the duller green from the ZTG. Worth trying? Certainly yes, but slightly overshot it. 1:1 or perhaps a 3:2 might have given a nicer result. Overall rating therefore a 2.25 out of 5.
odd idea, what about a 2 tone base coat with a pearl over it? like black base and fade it into a gray base and then use the same pearl over the whole thing? now that i'm typing this out i feel almost like it was already done.
I definitely like that color. I don’t normally like the high-pro chefs paint going from green to purple and that’s what I expected . What I would like to see is this color overover a silver base
Looks awesome, probably my favorite color ever. Even the gold wheels, that I usually dislike, really enhance the overall look. A definite 6 out of 5 from me. Yep, a 6 out of 5. Keep up the great work guys.
That is a gorgeous colour. I'm super curious though what it would turn out like over a silver base coat. It's such a bright colour that I reckon it needs an equally bright base.
Looking to spray some gunmetal gray on my 4 door Jeep Xj and really want to hit it with the Atlantic color shift pearls paired with the matte topcoat. Curious on exactly how much topcoat I should purchase?
*So.. worth the risk?*
That needs to be on a Evo asap
@Brock Temple simply not true..it has to be on the mustang lol so I can see what it would look like on my car lol 😂
5
Worth the risk in my opinion. 5 for sure. But. Next time you do a combination of colors can we get a speed shape of the individual colors so we can really see how it changes them? I think that would bring a whole other level to things.
it's always worth a risk! But only a three from me for this risk-taking exercise. I'd love to see you do something over a BRG base.
A definite 5! I love the shift from the darker green to an almost lime green
Worth the risk! This color came out great and it looks soo good with the factory gold wheels. 5/5!
Came here to say the same! Great combo.
Even better would be 2 speed shapes with the normal base and then the final color
Maybe a double-sized speed shape or two
I was thinking the same thing when he reused the same stick, "that it would be nice to see the difference side by side".
I totally agree!! My thoughts exactly
I made this same color in GTA 5.
This green is SOLID, and totally worth the risk.
Legitimately looks like a fantastic high quality GTA V car picture
LOVE IT!! Def a 5 in my book 😊 And I think the perfect name for that blend would be Leprechaun Gold. You've got the leprechaun green gold color, then it shifts and disappears, lol!
Every angle is a different shade blending into different tones and shimmers and colors… I love it.
This is much better. The base doesn't appear to be flat at all. Very nice! 5 out of 5!
The color is so rich!!! The rims are perfect for this color also!! Great job, once again, gentlemen!!
Definitely beautiful the color shifting is awesome...
I give a 5!
To me it looks like a very vibrant green that shifts to a dark blue green. I really like this combination.
Gotta admire a man who plasti-dips entire cars, plays with pigments, and not only turned it into a successful business models but also into stunning videos.
beautiful color! love the subtle shifts in green. really curious how the 1:1 ratio would have looked
I like it. It may not look good on all cars, but it sure does look good on the sti.
Fantastic! Like a 4.9 out of 5. I just wish that the color shift didn't stop at the dark, vaugely tealish green and it shifted further/earlier into cyan, blue, and then ended at a purple, so you have bright lime yellow green as the main highlight and other greens, blues, and a purple around it
I watched a episode you did and it looked like a chocolate metallic color. How much would it cost to get that color to paint my truck?
I think it's pretty amazing how a lot of the green and gold mainly came out. Not so much the blue and it truly looks amazing to me. I liked it!!!
Love the page and all, but have you guys ever thought about adding a painting rims pairing portion to the show? Like besides picking the car color also choose a rim color too! I think it would be an awesome addition and a great way to showcase the possibilities 🤙
One of the best colour shifts i have seen you guys do, absolutely adore this!!
Absolutely a stunning color on that STI with it's lines and gold rims that accentuate the paint.
Give it a 5, I like the chrome effect it has from certain angles and the shift subtle between the greens and the bluish tinge.
Give it a damn 5!!! On camera it seems to shift S L O W L Y from radioactive green, to a darker shade of pearlescent green, then slowly to a blue hue. I like it.
Have to say this turned out really well. Bit bright for my tastes (I generally prefer deeper greens and blues), but I definitely like the results 4.4.
I have a question. Do you remove the masking after the basecoat, then remask the car before you do these pearl/hypershift coats? The reason I ask is you have to remove the masking before the dip dries or it's difficult to remove without damage. So between spraying your basecoat and recording these videos it has to be dry. Anyone else getting 2 fast 2 furious vibes?? Paul walker would be proud
😮 Hands down the Best color shift ive seen you do so far. Holy cow im IN LOVE WITH TUE RESULTS. I need that. My rating is a Solid 5.
3.8?
Personally, I think the ZTG has serious potential as a nail polish 😉
That’s quite possibly one of the best green flips that I’ve ever seen, super vibrant pearler of a finish 👌🏻
5 out of 5
5:57 Now you've gone full FAST N' FURIOUS.. DAMN!!! Looks amazing!
Thank you.

This year for the STI is by far my most favorite body style trim and all but I never ever thought I would like it in a green wow that is good looking.
Don't know why the algorithm pushed this video to recommended, but it nailed it. Super glad to have found this channel. As for the color. 4.9 out of 5. I feel like it lost just a little bit of the dramatic shift, but the color is gorgeous.
It would be a great color for wheels as it has a clear definition of border as it passes through the shift. Rotation will be phenomenal!
I like it, it’s a 3.5 for me!

I'd rate it a 4. I'm definitely missing the more "blue" shift, but it's a fantastic color. I wouldn't mind doing this color to my car.
I'll go 4.6. Very sharp vibrant color, but the shift seems to have diminished a bit with the process. I still like it and would do it though.
5... Love the subtle changes and how it helps define the lines of the car so well! 👌 Right on ✌️
I really love the radioactive green and I would like to have that colour always.
With most hypershifts I see a really nice colour, but it shifts into a colour that I don't like.
I love these experiment video's and the contrast between excitement between you two is hilarious 😂
I love the subtle look on it. Not bold wild shift and colors nice green to like teal amd rich green
Wow!! I was not expecting that to look so good and it’s a great color for the Subaru!! Nice Job!! It’s amazing!!
Wow this turned out absolutely gorgeous. Would a lighter primer/base have made it any brighter?
I definitely Wouldn't mind if Mine was that color do it in a heart beat. Love the way it turned out. I like how bright green it is and how it shifts to more a darker color of it
5!! 5!! Love the green and how it flips. It's perfect for my tastes.
Has a nice metallic aquamarine green vibe going on.. I dig it. the 2:1 ratio was perfect. Good job guys! 4.8/5!
Solid 4. Very clean looking and fits with the wheels. Would like to see it over a silver or lighter base coat.
Love it, def a 5! I really dig the subtle shift that was created
5!! It's a great risk, and works so well.
Looks good for green, we had a vary similar colour in the Holden VS/VY SS Commodore range here in Australia.
Bright green is my favorite color and I absolutely love this paint job. Definitely a 5.
5! One of my favorite colors has always been kawasaki candy lime green. This combo is essentially a shift centered around that! I may actually do this to a bike.
That colors is fitting for the WRX, especially with those rims. Had this been done on an RS6 I don’t think it would look half as good. But damn it’s working with WRX.
love the shift in that!! the blue to green is smooth and has a great pearl to it! 6 out of 5 * :)
Love it! Green is my favorite color, and this is an excellent display of my favorite shades. 5/5.
Awesome!!!!! No mistake done on this combo. Just a n added question, would it make it brighter if put over a white base coat?
This is SICK!! I LOVE it!! It even sets the rims off. 5/5
5/5 would recommend and the factory wheels look so good gives the color pop
YES PLEASE!!
I have always wanted to give my WRX that Matte Green A-10 Warthog color.
5/5. Straight banger. No complaints.
4.5 of 5.
really nice i love it
curious would a color shoft pearl still look good and work with a glow pearl.
I say a high 3 the wheel color takes away from the car, the gold clashes too much, maybe if it was on something gloss black or a brushed finish with a flush fitment would complement it better.
Duuuuuuude !! I am in LOVE with this colour. this is AMAZING !!!
This is a 4.5. Love the color and the flop is easy on the mind.
Beautiful color. Id like to see tou guys start using Aluminum as the bas color more often, i think it would really make the colors pop. Great work as always guys. 👍
Totally worth it. Great outcome.
Pretty nice! Glad to see you did something about those headlights ;D can't tell if you just polished them or what, but definitely better than the haze they had before.
4 Nice change in the colour from super bright Green shift to Darker Green to Blue with just a little bit of the purple left.👍
Oh I love that colour, not over the top just looks nice and rich.
Awesome! Looks great, I love how it turned out!
that looks spectacular, what an awesome green metallic look.
This is by far my favorite color you have made... I think my 02 Silverado would look amazing in that color
Would like ro see this on a silver or white base
Nice color idea, but I think you have overdone it with the second bag of Radioactive. Fabulous colour, greatthinking. 5 all day long. Really pops on the Subaru.
odd idea, what about a 2 tone base coat with a pearl over it? like black base and fade it into a gray base and then use the same pearl over the whole thing? now that i'm typing this out i feel almost like it was already done.
You nailed it! Very tasty color combos in mix.
I rate this a 3+. It's loud, though not quite the shift I like to see. I do love green, and for someone who wanted a more subtle shift, this is it.
I definitely like that color. I don’t normally like the high-pro chefs paint going from green to purple and that’s what I expected . What I would like to see is this color overover a silver base

Keep up the great work guys.
That is a gorgeous colour. I'm super curious though what it would turn out like over a silver base coat. It's such a bright colour that I reckon it needs an equally bright base.
Love the look, but would it glow if you used luminescent green
I've never liked the gold wheels on the STI, but they go great with this combo. Solid 5 for me.
Love the color I wish there was someone close to me that plastic dip
It’s a brighter, bolder take on the old VW Oak Green. Nice.
Looking to spray some gunmetal gray on my 4 door Jeep Xj and really want to hit it with the Atlantic color shift pearls paired with the matte topcoat. Curious on exactly how much topcoat I should purchase?
