HDR10 is just the standard, It doesn't support 1000 nits brightness . the XG model supports height and and can rotate too , this monitor has 100 ntis less brightness

This 27" panel has 108 ppi so basically if you downscale 4K to 1440p, It won't be any effective I've tried custom resolutions. And with HDMI it only supports up to 144hz. No idea about PS5 sorry.
Can you tell the hdcp version whether it is 2.2 or 1.4, you can check it on nvidia control panel, if it's 2.2 then I think it will support 4k/1440p on ps5

This has a very basic panel and made for budget gaming. MSI and BenQ specially, they use good panels and also work on the panels for better response time and less ghosting. BenQ is well knows for monitors.

After switching from 24" FHD to 27" QHD, I've noticed better visuals because now we have higher ppi. But also keep one thing in mind that as the resolution increases the latency also rises. So for fps games I won't recommend but for mix usage yes you can buy.

Not worth spending extra 4k. LG has a USB port, g-sync compatibility but less refresh rate. Acer has inbuilt speakers. Choice is yours. My recommendation is save money.

HDR400 is advanced technology but HDR10 is widely supported by most games etc. Also there are specific requirements by both standards which makes them better than the other. Overall XV model providing 350 nits is better for you while VG only provides 250 nits of brightness.

It depends on how overdrive and VRB works. Still to answer your question, slight difference from off to normal. And from normal to extreme, like no difference. But also the brightness falls very low at extreme settings(not worth).

Bhai ye FRC sab gimmick hai. Either it has to be a true 10 bit or 8 bit. So basically it's 8 bit panel. However in nvidia control panel it shows 8 bpc and 10 bpc but I didn't notice any change.

VG271U M3 seems better. Samsung is using VA panel whereas Acer is using IPS and also Acer comes with inbuild speakers and audio out port. Get Acer.

It comes with a regular dp cable which has same dp ports at both side. You can use hdmi cable for connecting to Mac M4.

You may need to create custom resolution if QHD is not captured by default.

The only biggest drawback I found in this monitor is that it doesnt have hdmi2.1 & dp1.4

It depends on how overdrive and VRB works. Still to answer your question, slight difference from off to normal. And from normal to extreme, like no difference. But also the brightness falls very low at extreme settings(not worth).

Coming to the monitor, I saw that this monitor has 2 x hdm 2.0 ports, and 2.0 supports max 240hz@ 1080p, shouldn't it support 180hz instead of max 144hz with the hdmi cable? Also, does 1080p look good on this compared to other max 1080p monitors?

Bhai ye FRC sab gimmick hai. Either it has to be a true 10 bit or 8 bit. So basically it's 8 bit panel. However in nvidia control panel it shows 8 bpc and 10 bpc but I didn't notice any change.
