Lg will give you premium quality, that's it. As far i heard, viewing angle is more better than acer in lg. You will feel the quality with LG. But if you wanna save money, acer is also a best option. (If you have the budget to increase 5k or 6k, then go for LG.)

Assuming monitors from both brands at same cost.
For gaming:-
Acer has 180hz, viewsonic has 170hz
(Negligible change)
For editing:-
Viewsonic has 137% srgb, acer has dci-p3
(Dci-p3 shows 28% more color space that srgb. Also dci-p3 uses upto 10 bit color, while srgb uses 8 bit.)
These are the only two differences, rest all features are almost same. Choice is yours.

Use the monitor with display port cable to get 180hz if you use it with hdmi cable you'll limit to 144hz.

Why dont you try DP cable and see if you get 2k with 180HZ.
Cauz my laptop does not have a DP port. So I use hdmi with CRU.

aap jagah correction kar sakte h... overclock karke nahi jata wo 180hz, wo sirf display port ke through jata h...hdmi support nahi karti h itni fast refresh rate ko us monitor pe...
2nd thing: monitor potential more depends on a particular's pc specs potential also and how much does their laptop or graphics card support...just in my case i have both for laptop(Asus Tuf F15(rtx3050ti) and for pc gtx 1650 super with ryzen 5 3600X...if they both have potential to do so it will work accordingly...
screen tearing is most common in high refresh rate gaming also, so keep it at 2k 170hz for better display quality and refresh rate...

Xv and VG both has 10bit.
At 1440P 60Hz DownClock with DCI-P3 color profile mode it's giving me the option of 12Bit and there is no banding in videos at 12Bit , the difference from 8 bit(native) is clearly visible in 12 bit mode.
is this monitor possible to pivot?
I have monitor arm once it's attached to it, it can move pretty much any direction you need. Remember when you turn it vertically you need to go to windows settings < orientation < vertical, and save.
even in 2k it gives 170hz if u use p2 cable and for hdmi cable it will be capped at 144hz

There is something missing in every Video....not every user use PC for gaming....some use PS4/PS5 or XBOX....I have purchased the same monitor and did not find even a single video on youtube reviewing the same monitor performance with PS4. Anyhow, now I have purchased the monitor and it will be delivered in a couple of days and I will have to test it myself

is there ghosting at 180hz?
1st of all I use hdmi cable so I have to use cru to make it 180hz, still there is no ghosting. Just a recommendation keep the overdrive mode to normal, if you change overdrive setting to high or max then only you may see ghosting (depending upon gpu)

I have recieved thie monitor today from Flipkart. I have connected it to my Laptop for the time being as I am going to build PC in next month. But for now, in display settings, the highest resolution showing is 1920x1080 only. Also, I can't even see refresh rate there. Is this something to do with Windows? (Windows 10 pirated :D). Also my laptop is quite old and does not have dedicated graphic card. I conducted online refresh rate and it is coming out 60Hz. Please help if this is a Laptop issue or the Windows ? I can see very limited options at the Display settings.
Displaying high quality graphics is role of gpu, for old laptops it can only max go upto 1080p 60hz.

I am going for a mid range PC build so just wanted to clarify that if this is not an issue with the monitor.
Btw, the monitor looks great and working fine. No dead pixel, just backlight bleeding a bit but that is fine.

Screen test dikhane ka fayda nhi hai, Mai agar monitor me 2k chala deta aur canon se 4k me bhi record Kar deta fir bhi majority public 1080p me hi dekhi hoti yt pe, aur display k color bhi audience jis screen pe dekh rahi hai waise colors dikhege, isiliye sirf verbally bataya hai. 8-bit for every settings above 60hz, 60hz pe switch karne k baad 10-bit depth deta hai. 1440p pe max 180hz tak jayega using dp cable.

2k aur usse niche k koi bhi resolution me 180hz tak jata hai, sirf 4k me automatic 60hz pe switch ho jata hai.

yeah, Both can go upto 4K, depending upon your GPU, and I use monitor arm so there is no movement restriction for it, you can turn and pivot easily.

I have ordered VG one from Flipkart and would later get a monitor arm as well. I was confused between 24 and 27 inch for quite some time now and also other factors were there but after watching your video I have ordered this one. Hopefully it serves my purpose well which is web/graphic design, coding and casual gaming.

Bhai mera monitor power cable psu power cable se mix hogya hai. Smjh ni ara konsa kiska hai qki dono same brand or voltage ke hai. Bhai kya tum bata skte ho monitor power cable ka length kitna hai? Or iske power chord jo monitor wli side ko jaati hai uske top par enec likha hai? Mera same monitor hai.
Cable k exact dimensions Mai abhi nhi Bata sakta Mai travel pe hu, Mai 2 sept ko return Ghar jauga. Waise dono same voltage ki hai toh itna q soch rahe ho, generally interchange Kar sakte ho.

Waise toh ips badiya hai for wide viewing angle aur colors, but agar pure fps gaming ki baat kare toh led Jada better Hota hai fps k liye + energy saving, but agar tum casual player ho toh itna major farq nhi padta (woh bothot minuet difference hai).

Graphics card is responsible to transforms data into images on a screen. Without gpu you can only gey max output of 1080p with any fhd monitor. You need a good gpu to generate higher resolution and scaling.
Does 1080p looks bad on this?
It looks fine. I know it's a 27 inch monitor, but 1080p scales properly with it, however 720p might not looks as sharp.
@@MighTech I have heard that 1080p does look good on a 1440p display because the scaling is in fractions. That's why it lack details and looks blurred.

Doesn't happen to me, might be you pc cannot resist the load, put it to a lower resolution for a while and see if the same problem occurs.

Go to menu, in color tab change Gamma to 2.2, and change color space sRGB, or try different modes as per your visibility.make sure contrast is above 40 to 50

There is no different setting to on it, if your pc is capable it must go beyond 2k by default.
He is using NVDIA DSR option or AMD virtual super resolution Which allows you to render at higher resolution but it down scales to ur monitor resolution.
Both are 8bit. Confirmed from official website.
Well the monitor show 8 bit when operated on 75hz or above, & using it on 60hz on any resolution gives 10bit. (Not sure if it actually gives, but it does show on settings that it's running in either 8bit or 10 bit)

Dp port will give you better results, but I'm not sure if ps5 has dp port or not.
