I can't see a world where Getaway Car isn't in the top 10 of every person.
RIGHT I LOVE THAT SONG BYE
Period
Master piece period
EXACTLY and she didn't mention that on reputation. I keep saying getaway car could be on Red, its that good! And Red is my favorite album, period!
THIS
y'all stay sleeping on CLEAN a masterpiece.
Youre right and you should say it
Clean is my faveee on 1989
top 3 material
And the bonus tracks!! New romantics???? AMAZING!!!! Wonderland??? MAGICAL! YOU ARE IN LOVE????? i-
Clean is also like the after math of All Too Well or the moment i knew cos like it was about finally being free from jake 🥺
I love this about Taylor Swift. It's like everyone is ready to go to war with their fav albums. You've got your "Debut is underrated" crew, the "dreamy nostalgia for Fearless" herd, the "Speak Now is a lyrical masterpiece" bunch, the "Red supremacy" crowd, the "1989 is pop perfection" mob, the "reputation is THAT BITCH" team, the "Lover is overhated" drove, and the "folklore is her magnum opus" army
Edit: now we've also got the "evermore is storytelling at its finest" gang
Edit: now we've also got the "Midnights makes me feel things I'm not ready to admit to a therapist yet" clan
I vacillate between all of these on a regular basis 😭 the struggle of a diehard Swiftie lol
Jonathan Lopez yessss
Folklore is magnum opus army, where you at 🙈sorry not sorry
what are you talking about? her magnum opus is reputation
Red supremacy crowd wya??
I will never understand how they made New Romantics a bonus track. Literally one of the best songs from 1989 and it’s a BONUS TRACK
Straight fax
NEW ROMANTICS SUPREMACY
OMG YES. I work at a grocery store and we recently changed our playlist to a “#1 hits” playlist but BRO. They added New Romantics instead of Blank Space or Style like ?????!!!
all you had to do is skip it made it on the album but new romantics didnt??? byeeee e
Marketing! That way you would buy the version with the bonus tracks
1989 really gave us that wattpad experience with harry styles.
I love this comment
that's funny
KANSKSNSKS YEAH
why is nobody talking about how amanda called us out for homework at the end of the video....
💀
A reminder that 19 year old Taylor Swift wrote the whole Speak now album ALONE.
And she did a phenomenal job!
her holding up a palette called midnight is crazy
Amanda saw into the future!!

The bridge alone is iconic
Especially the Live version in Paris on Spotify

lover has INCREDIBLE songs: cruel summer, the archer, miss americana, cornelia street, false god....HIT AFTER HIT AFTER HIT (the singles were terrible tho)
T H I S
But Lover was an amazing song tho. And that was a single.
Lover - Incredible, The archer - Great, YNTCD - good pop hit, even though sonically it is not the best, it has a great message and i believe it should have been a single purely for the amazing message and great MV. ME.... yeah burn it in a fire.
Yesss !!!!
if only she had cut 4-5 filler tracks from lover, it’d honestly be one of her best albums

I think Reputation has a few gems
the way you didn’t even acknowledge Enchanted...
RIGHT
I was so sad
Taylor releasing Me as the lead single was more reckless than the entirety of Reputation
*hey kids! spelling is fun!*
@@whatthehellisthis *You can't spell AWESOME without me!*
Girl there ain't no I in team
But you know there is a me🥴🥴
You're right and you should say it
Haha I actually am very new to Taylor Swift as I always thought of her a silly artist before listening to folklore. I really liked folklore so decided to listen to lover which was good but I died hysterically at “hey kids! Spelling is fUn!” 😂
reputation is not entirely about the kimye drama....it’s about her falling in love with a man who didn’t pay attention to all the drama that was going on at the time. And the best songs in the album showcase that: delicate, getaway car, dancing with out hands tied...all songs about her relationship with joe.
I kKNOW you did not disrespect I did Something bad like that.
Getaway Car is about her fling with Tom Hiddleston and how their relationship was always doomed to end.
*edit they are not all about joe but they are about relationships regardless
Reputation was ass yall stop trying to excuse it by calling it deep and meaningful lmaooo
Pretty sure she's talking about the album sonically not about Taylor's relationships
reputation's concept is actually the most genius
Yes it is so good
Yup and she also wants to make that album look like a crime scenes. I mean if you pay attention to the sounds of it and some lyrics in it.
No
No because the whole aspect was like ‘any publicity is good publicity’ and it felt really reminiscent of Bad Blood. If Bad Blood was an album 🥰
@@sketchycat6223 the album actually only has three "angry" songs and the rest of it is very lovey-dovey, talking about finding love amidst chaos. it's the album equivalent of a clickbait. if you think the album is all about the feuds, it means you fell for it
girl have you listened to reputation? “an album about kanye west hating her”??? there are only three songs (out of fifteen) about the drama/media the rest is about her boyfriend. i don’t really like that album either but... that was lowkey the point, to have people think it’s an album about revenge and drama, then making it about “finding love through all the noise” in her own words.
but from a distance, that's what it was and that's how she promoted it, it was a bad album, and it can't really fall back on the fact that it has a special meaning.
Vicky Manzano well i understand for someone who’s only heard look what you made me do to think that way, but still saying it is an album about “kanye west hating her” after hearing the whole thing? and the rest of the singles? gorgeous, call it what you want, ...ready for it, end game and delicate are all about her boyfriend, so are the other six love songs on the album (and there is also a breakup song, not about her boyfriend but not about the kimye drama either). it’s not really a deep special meaning or sumn lol it’s on the nose. as i said this was the point of the whole era, showing how false one’s reputation can be. you watch lwymmd mv, and see the cover art, and all the snakes and think ooh this is going to be a dark, edgy, revenge album but it turns to be the complete opposite. i personally don’t really like reputation, the production is not my taste, but this type of criticism is just a little nonsensical considering the context of the album
@@mel-lo8zg Taylor didn't spend a whole year without making a public appearence and wrote so many songs about how vulnerable she felt during that time, the gratefulness she had for her lover when they stayed by her side especially when the entire world hated her and put out the best world tour she's ever done (especially when people thought it was gonna flop) for y'all to disrespect Reputation and its concept like this
@@mel-lo8zg THANK YOU. 👏👏 💯
i mean yeah but its called “reputation.” its marketed as her manifesto from her POV on the situation, and the singles were both direct calls to it. so that colors ur whole listening experience
i feel like she just needed to have a moment to be openly mad & shady about it so she could leave it behind tbh😂 which she did
The title of this video should start with "let's fight"

@@woke1497 no catchy hits? Reputation on the other hand is musically stale, contains a lot of atrocious lyrics, some terrible production, and in general is just not it.

You can't imagine my disgust when she ignored that entire album in her artist of the decade performance
neutral marceline chill.. she sings a lot of it in her tours, she clearly gives it attention. But that performance had 5 songs (and one of them was lover obv), and none of them could realistically be cut out. U expect her not to sing "love story" ? Or to replace "shake it off" with "mine"? That doesnt make sense.. she needed to perform the biggest hits cuz its the "artist of the decade" award.
@@ahmaddiab9480 she sung both yntcd and the man. She should have done mine, back to December, or mean instead of the man.

SPEAK NOW SUPREMACY
Then you do now, haha.
the way swifties wanna attack everyone for not stanning Every Swift Song ever is ridiculous and I stand by that
Can we talk about how red the song is an actual masterpiece and one of her best songs lyrically. It's literally poetry, the expert use of metaphors and similies are genius, I get shivers when I listen to that song to this day. I would have gladly analyses and dissected red in English literature over byron and Shelley.
Red is the best and I'll die on that hill.
ok just finished the video. Not many people agree with me, but Red is such a cohesive body of work. 22, Trouble, We are never ever getting back.., All too well, the lucky one, everything has changed, the last time, holy ground, starlight. All super solid songs that's basically the entire album
Youre not dying there, youre living lavishly on that golden hill
Stay stay stay?
Agreed
Gay Chase exactly! The pop songs save that album everything else is scraps. I’ve just gone back to listen to every album. Red deserves Fearless’s spot at second worst
I dabble with Taylor Swift music so I feel like I’m being educated
Same
bruh me too and even i thought reputation was her worst album and i don’t even listen to her, amanda took my words about reputation being the worst and said it into her video with her sass and that’s all i needed tbh
I don’t even like Taylor swift/ her music (I literally have only hear singles and I dislike 90% of them) but I’m about to watch a 46 minute video of her ranking her albums
Madeline Feibush i just finished it and i agree completely
@@Maddie-nx3hb Taylor is infamous for selecting bad singles most of them are supposed to have commercial appeal. Thats why people think she makes music like shake it off or ME! Her best work is her album cuts which are amazingly written often with no co writers. I mean you cannot survive in music industry for this long without being talented and being a master at your craft
The concept of reputation was more about her finally finding love that accepted her for who she is rather than what others think of her. Which is pretty relatable I feel. Like not being to figure out who your true friends are and who will stay in your life. And not too much like making fun of her image like blank space does. I wasn’t a fan of reputation when it first came out cause I missed country Taylor but it wasn’t until I sat down and learned about her and Joe and her mindset that I really appreciated it. All the best songs are the non singles anyways lol
The fact that Taylor Swift has never objectively put out a bad album, the fact that most people can name at least 6 of her songs even if they’re her biggest hater, the fact that she dominates the charts everytime she releases anything is what makes me really grateful to have stanned her. Despite ppl constant attempts to break her she comes back swinging with something that nobody can deny her- actual raw talent. She is a lyricist at heart and boy was Folklore a showcase of those incredible skills. Red was it’s sister but less mature, 1989 was a pop sensation and had no skipabble songs, Self-titled was a great debut, Fearless showcased her wide eyed gaze at love, Speak Now was a masterpiece and Reputation was once again dominating a whole different sound and aesthetic. She really never misses huh?
I disagree with you saying that 1989 has no skippable songs. I have to skip OOTW and WTNY every time. They're two of my least favourite songs she's done.
She really doesn't.
If you have followed Amanda you already knew before watching the video that Reputation was going to be at the bottom 😭💀
yess she HATES reputation 😭
why does it kinda feel like she only listened to half of reputation bc i swear they second half has absolutely nothing to do with her reputation

Back to December is legendary. No arguments shall be permitted.
I feel like I’m going though my own Taylor Swift renaissance. Once I hit the ninth grade I decided that her music was bad and that I “grew out of it” but really it’s always been excellent I just let society convince me that the music I grew up loving was shallow and childish because of sexism.
Gwen this is exactly what i’m going through rn too and her white woman antics didn’t help her case but wow folklore really made me realize 👁
The thing is that it’s entirely the media’s fault, she’s actually a great person. She visits children hospitals regularly, donates and helps people in need, pays for fans college tuitions, and more. She visits children with cancer a lot and tries to cheer them up, one of the cancer patients she visited died and she wrote the song Ronan in his memory. She recently paid for a fans therapy. She also paid for a girl in London’s college tuition.
Hamza Khalid id never heard of Ronan before so I went to listen to it and oh boy, am I sad now.

i knew this video was gonna be filled with rep slander (at least during the rep part), but it STILL HURTS.
amanda, you need to go back to getaway car... PLEASE
God I feel like I didn’t appreciate 1989 when it came out, like girly made an album with zeros skips and it was pop perfection
the way reputation had 2 songs about the west drama on a 15 track album filled with nothing but critically acclaimed bops (minus lwymmd 😷) & you said “The entire album is about the west’s hating you..” embarrassing ma 😪
Her opinion
Sayyari Cedeno but it’s a fact that only 2 songs were about the drama 💀
melodrama her opinion period don’t call it embarrassing
Sayyari Cedeno this is the hill you wanna die on? embarrassing ma 🤭.
melodrama you wanna tussle with me baby let’s go
the fact that me, you need to calm down and the archer were the first songs released from lover was really threatening.
The archer does not deserve its slander 😔
If Red isn't #1 I will be angry
YES Amanda gets it

My favorite song of hers is Style btw 💛😍
Reputation is a masterpiece for fans because of the backstory behind it and the moments leading up to it. The stadium tour pretty much sealed the deal for me. It was an album about finding love and true friendship among all the chaotic noises which are represented by the bombastic and noisy songs at the beginning. Just my fav imo. But it's ok.
Ready for it, i did something bad, dont blame me, delicate, getaway car, call it what you want. IN ONE ALBUM. How can it be last?
Getaway Car, Dress, and New Years Day are good tho :(
DELICATE !!!!!
Red and 1989 hold a special place in my heart❤️
plssss only "look what you made me do" and "this is why we can‘t have nice things" are about kim and kanye and that. the rest are definitely not about kanye or wtvr
I'm gonna need justice for getaway car
getaway car. is amazing
Reputation was when I became a fan and it helped me through rough times in my life so I hold it close to my heart...I do respect your opinions though🤷🏽♀️
reputation stans listen up, separate ERA and MUSIC. The era, the shows, the outfits, was good. iconic even! however the musical aspect does not cut it. when i say rep is the worst album im talking about the music. the era was fun, but the music does not compare to her other work.
THANK YOU!!! Someone who can spell it out clearly 👏
You said nothing but the truth 😌
Every single song on speak now could clear your favs in seconds.
Reputation felt like such a forced era, like it wasn’t Taylor at all. Though we got some good songs out of it
That stadium tour tho, iconic
I disagree I loved it so much
i agree. iconic era for sure, but the bad girl image and some of those songs felt forced. however getaway car, ready for it, dancing with our hands tied, and delicate will be on repeat for years to come ❤️
Reputation is in my top 3 albums from Taylor
i haven’t listened to whole album but i will say that lwymmd is pretty grating as a song imo
Idk why everyone in the comment section hates reputation, it was actually one of my favorite albums. I love that she got her kind of beautiful revenge. What I love most about Taylor Swift is that her songs grew with me, and I was in my like, I’m the real thing phase and this was perfect for me. There is not a single Taylor Swift album that doesn’t have songs on my playlist and that I don’t listen to every day. I think reputation is an amazing album, up to all of her standards, beautiful to tour. I thought it was good and it’s actually my second favorite album
edit: so this turned into a war really fast, I didn't mean for that to happen. altho I will say, share your opinions all you want, they're opinions, that's what they're made for. but don't trash taylor's writing, singing, or any of that because she is talented. she is a genius. i agree reputation isn't her best work but it's still amazing and I don't think anyone can disagree with that.
@@ddtn11 reputation is neither bad nor average. Its actually an incredible album. Most of the people who hate reputation, actually hate it because subconsciously they still haven't forgiven Taylor after 2016. They still deem her responsible for all that shit, and its almost impossible now for them to unlearn all the hate the media conditioned them to have against Taylor. Thats why they see reputation as a vengeful, dark, self obsessed album that is running after kimye and the media with a pitchfork, when really its about finding love amidst the chaos.
Adeel Intikhab its nothing special, really. sonically, they literally use similar synthesizers and vocalizers and many of the songs are in the same key. the lyricism was definitely one of taylor’s worst, definitely worse than 1989 with its edgy and cringey ass lyrics. and just the whole bad girl persona seemed inauthentic esp. after seeing miss americana. just the way she tried so hard to make it feel like she doesn’t two fucks about “what people think of her” but constantly and blatantly shoves it in our face so that we‘re constantly reminded. blank space did it better, lyrically and sonically. compared to look what you made me do and this is why we can’t have nice things which are literally so blatantly immature and childish. people couldn’t even tell she was being satirical in blank space which is what made it good.
@@buzzcutseason142 reputation has far better lyrics than 1989....
The lyrics are so surface level on 1989. Whereas in rep they are emotionally deep. The only really well written songs on 1989 are out of the woods, clean, you are in love, style and this love.
Adeel Intikhab
1. *ready for it* is a compilation of cliches
2. *don’t blame me’s* chorus is cringey on its own “dont blame me, love made me crazy”
3. *endgame* “you’re so dope, don’t overdose”
4. *look what you made me do* x8
5. *so it goes* “you’re so chill but you make me jealous”
6. *idsb* “they’re burning all the witches even if you aren’t one” - she tried to be bad and iconic but ended up as gramatically wrong instead lmao
7. *new year’s day* “hold on to the memories they will hold on to you” - nonsensical lyrics that try to be impactful. memories cant “hold on to you” lmao
the rest are average songs with average lyricism. compare the number of cringey ass songs though and 1989’s better. 1989 has welcome to new york (the line “kaleidoscopes of loud heartbeats under coats” outsold rep’s lyricism), style, blank space esecially, out of the woods, this love, i know places, clean, wonderland, and new romantics - all of which are nicely written songs.
Adeel Intikhab blank space > i did something bad.
