I just bought a PS1 and have tried many adapters and converters and none of them work good on the PS1 console on my 2013 Samsung smart TV. Textures pictures looks so blurry and not sharp, but I did order this levelhike (US region version) and it's coming tomorrow and I really hope it does the trick and works! Great video👏👍

@@bustergundo516 The level hike adapter which is for PS1 and PS2 worked wonders and made the texture and picture as well as the text writing much more clearer. Even on the PS1, and even when using it on a modern TV. Highly recommend it👍

interesting, what were the PS3 settings in the comparison video? I know by default ps1 visuals are set to widescreen and smoothing on, which I hated the look of, I'll take more pixelated of smoothed image any day because the smooth always just looked muddy to me.
Unfortunately I don't have an original ps1 anymore and run all ps1 games through my PS2 which goes rca out and into an rca to hdmi converter, would an actual PS2 hdmi look better than what I'm currently getting?
I just used upscaling feature on the ps3 but the results were the same with it off aswell. I found bloody roar 2 looks the same on ps2. I would not recommend using those composite to hdmi adaptors at all. Your just converting the composite signal to hdmi where level Hike HDMI converts the rgb 240p signal to hdmi

What do you plug the power cable part into though? Hdmi cord goes into the tv, but where does the other part go?
Hi! Does this product work like rgb-scart cable? Because i have an problem with my psx when i play ntsc games. It is model scph-1002 and back in the days when i had crt tv the ntsc games worked with colours but now 20years later i only have hdtv and it doesn't have an scart socket. So i try to play games with rgb-scart - hdmi converter but the colors are still black and white in ntsc games. Do you think this product can be solve my color problem? :D
I understand, it workes with my hard moded pal ps1 playing ntsc games just fine,
Hi, I just purchased this from you guys last week and the quality is great! Although one slight flaw, it delays the signal at the startup on both PSX and PS2 so it misses a part of it. Is this normal as having the full startup is actually part of my content for using original hardware?
Mmm it differ on on tvs to register the signal, I noticed the start up full via the capture card, for myself
@@rightspritegaming I have tried it through my Elgato 4k60 Pro mk.2 and straight into my television (which didn't go through my pc and another monitor) and it was exactly the same. Is it potential that I have a slightly defective unit?
@@MonsterTheMash no problem with it , if it was defucted you would get out put lag when gaming that would problem and easyierly noticed,
Then, what could be the issue? As I have tested it further on another TV and it's still the same. What capture card did you use to test it?

@@xsnipezxgaming5304 you will have same experiences the ps2 slim at it were the of ps2 fat, but personally i do find i hard to find a working ps2 slim these days ,

What about RGB-SCART vs levelhike HDMI?
Good point, but one main appeal is that you can use it to connect to hd TVs with a simple plug and play, especially that RGB scary is not common now and they cannot except the native resolution is natively outputs
I need one for PS2 than PS1 since most PS3s can play PS1 games and some can't play PS2 games.
