still putting out helpful vids that save me $$$ to this day
so glad the glass n my square bird is flat
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!!!!!!! I was stuck -- no manuals or "How To" for my car!!I was trying to slide the Lower Sash Channel (LSC) and Filler onto the glass -- horizontally.Verrrry difficult! Your rubber Mallet Idea should help a lot. Also I'm using the original rubbler-filler.......(decent shape)............And I'm coating the LSC and LSC Filler with Dot 3 or Dot 4 brake fluid.......... It is supposed to help condition therubber.
Thanks for the kind words! Oops we didn't realize that got missed. Here is the National Parts Depot name and part number: Seal Strip Glass Channel 1/16 Part Number: 214A10-1
Awesome as always. One thing i noticed was my stripping was not malleable, probably depending on how long ts been sitting on a shelf. It kept popping up. Using a heat gun was an easy way to get it to form around the window. Hope this helps someone in the future!
Great tip!
Generally the old videos are much more instructive... This channel deserve much more following
Hmmmm. Not sure I agree.
Great video guys! Keep them coming lol
@chevytermo Thanks! We do requests too!
ROFL. We don't know. BUT we had to add some extra pops to the sound file...then we just stood there and popped nearly the entire sheet of bubble wrap. Speaking of...we'll be back in a few, there are a few unpopped bubbles on that sheet....

Do you have a video that shows how to put the window back in the door?
Exactly the video I was looking for. But can you remove the glass without removing the frame from the door?
Not really easy to do. unless the run channel is dried out.
Hey Guys! Excellent work and very helpful. I always check your vids when I get stuck with my Fastback. A question though, what is that black strip sealer you used between the moulding and the glass. I can't seem to find it on the NPD catalogue. An NPD part number would be awesome!
Thanks again!
where do I get the rubber stripping from and what is it called
SEAL STRIP GLASS CHANNEL 1/16 INCH 214A10-1 Find it on: www.nationalpartsdepot.com
I JUST discovered your channel while shopping on NPD. Would the glass setting procedure be the same for a '69 Mustang? I read that in 1970 they had a channel that you could tighten onto the glass, but that '69 was glue in. I bought some special adhesive for it, but it looks like all I might need is some channel tape and your video 🤔
It is just adhesive on the 69 glass, used 3M 08641.
I have a question about the stainless trim. Do you happen to know if this trim will fit a 1965 Mustang Coupe as well?
Pretty sure it won't.
Just what is it with the addiction with poppin those plastic bubble wrap. Have not met 1 person that can resist the urge. Must be somthin deep and froidian!!
2 minutes and 35 seconds of dross before you get to the good stuff.
