Yes, this life is like a vapor
My grandfather liked The Bee Gees in 1974 when he was 78. We’d be speeding down Eastern Ave in Las Vegas and he’d say “don’t tell grandma”. My grandma was a strict old fashioned Baptist. I miss them both.
HOW SWEET❤
A Baptist and a boptist walked into a bar.
You'd never imagine these 3 boys come out with staying alive
Ironically, the four brothers died in reverse chronological order. Andy at 30 from myocarditis.
Yes! Styles changed as time passed by... And the brothers always had their finger on the pulse of pop music and led the way. So talented 🏆
They had no idea then, what the future held ,what an amazing ride. To think that in 2023,their music is still listened to❤
Barry always knew that he would be famous. At least, that's what he told the girls he was involved with.
This type of vocal blend is only achievable by singing with family members. The Bee Gees were incredible. One of my go-to groups for sure.
So true & me too!
@hansgordy Agreed!
He he he ❤️ that is so darn cute . They all have the same teeth / mouth . They completed each other in their talent . ❤️
❤ ano, mladi a zubati. Uz tehdy vyborni. Mam je rada ❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
They could eat an ear of corn through a picket fence,.
Not one straight tooth in the bunch ❤
Wow! I had no idea that they started so very young. I do know that they had big hits long before they dominated the disco scene. So so so talented.
It's incredible that these children would make the world dance a few years later 🕺
It wasn’t a few years later it was nearly 20 years later you’re an inbred pos
It wasn’t a few years later it was nearly 20 years later you silly pos
this song came out when i was just born back in 1960 and now 63 years on im really enjoying the old songs that barry and his beautiful brothers maurice and robin were digging when they were just young boys
I am 65 and just love these guys. Lost Maurice and Robyn too soon. Wonderful group!
I was born the same year. Still enjoying my albums of the BeeGees.
They were so young. The twins were babies.
This is incredible. In just seven years' time after this, they had their first UK number one hit with Massachusetts. True geniuses were the Gibb brothers. RIP, Maurice, Robin and Andy. Keep shining, Barry.
Amazing !
Not geniuses

They looked like the banjo kid in The Deliverance.
I love how respectful and mature they were. Memories. 😊
My word, even at this age, perfect.
How sweet and adorable! Talented singers from the get-go.
English emigrants to Australia who would go on to become one of the biggest musical acts of the 20th Century. 300 million albums sold worldwide. Nine US number one hits, 42 US top 40 hits, Saturday Night Fever sold 45 million copies worldwide including 14 million copies sold in the US. Their legacy and legend will never go away.
🤣😂🤣 Boy, that 100 plus million , jumped to Robin Gibb's estimate of 200 million plus, now to over 300 million. Lots of bootleg there!!!!
I was so lucky to hear then at melodyland first concert in states 1968??? They were GREAT‼️♥️
That's true, they have incredible legacy, but a small correction is required, "they became one of the biggest musical acts of the 20th century, but they are not the biggest" 😊❤🎉🌺💐
@@jannaghaleiw5504 he said one of the biggest !
Yes, but maybe after he edited it as per my comment 🤔
Sweet, sweet, sweet memories. Thank you, Bee Gees, for all the wonderful songs and memories you gave us and the sweet memories you allowed us to create with your music,
Am here 2024 much love from Uganda ❤❤❤❤.time is passing by
This is probably the oldest Bee Gees video, and the perseverance of the 3 brothers paid off, for me the best band of all time..
No there is one 58 I believe in Australia
Unbelievable!! I had no no idea they showed talent that early. Also, I didn't know Robin and Maurice were twins.
They are fraternal twins - not identical
Fraternal.
Robin and Maurice didn't look so much like twins as they got older but sure did when they were younger.
Agree entirely. Never saw them performing this early.
Yes. They used to harmonize around the toilet at home, because the acoustics sounded great. It was a natural talent and a phenomena that their voices blend so amazingly.
So sweet! Little did they know then who they would become.
Tolles altes Video, 1960 bin ich geboren

Those adorable teeth!! Such a talented family! 💝
They have beautiful vocal harmony even at that young age. Aren't they so cute?
They went from this, to Saturday Night Fever... Cool!
I must admit, I never knew the Bee Gees singing went back so far! I came to know them in the 70's. Those were my preteen years and I have great memories of their music. It's so cool to get a look back at them when they were so young!
And Saturday night fever was 16 years later... Wow!!! 👍
And with that the LEGEND was born
A trip back in time
It's amazing how the words "Bee Gees" got to be spoken on TV years before "The Beatles" were. :o
They most Definitely did I belive barry was 13 going on 14 And Maurice and Robin were 10 going on 11
Something to be said for family DNA!! but what a GIFT!!!!, and Thank YOU!!!
I remember watching them in tv in the very early 60's in Sydney.
They have been very talented since childhood, the song they sing is excellent.❤
Time has passed so rapidly 😞 So heart breaking to watch Robin's funeral , and then Barry's feelings about he's the only one remaining , in UA-cam... 😞😞
That harmony ! I think those boys might sell a few records in the future
You do realize that you were listening to the Bee Gees when they were very young, right?! They went on to sell millions of records over the course of their lifetime together as a group. Check them out.

Bei ng Australian we had the pleasure of viewing Barry and the twins on Australian TV programs all those years ago. Love the Bee Gees forever. They brought their God given talent to the world 🥰
…. And to add that Barry wrote this song, he was only 14. Watch how at the start of song, the twins just know when to come in. Love them …. So brilliant ❤❤❤
The twins are only 11 years old! They made the BeeGees a success.
They had no idea how iconic and life changing they would be even 50 years later. They have such beautiful voices and so different. Look at these kids and think they’re going to give us The Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, words, I started a joke, too much heaven etc. you can hear how their voices evolved
Truly amazing 💙
They were great at a very young age. I have never seen this.
The twins are so cute - can I put them in my pocket and take them home?
They're all 3 adorable!
When Barry was 9 years old in 1955 at Christmas he had received a guitar. His brothers Maurice and Robin wanted to sing with him.
And he ALWAYS shared his dream with his younger brothers!♥️
His parents had heard them singing in their bedroom, and their father, Hugh, bought them a basic guitar. Their mum Barbara thought they were listening to the radio when she heard them harmonising. Wow, such early talent and encouraged by their parents. Wonderful.
LOOK AT THEM. JUST DO IT. LOOK AT THESE BABIES!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE THE BEE GEES!!!!
It’s heartbreaking 2/3 of them are dead
Nem eu 😂❤
5 years later the BeeGees would look very Beatle-like.
They were destiny for each other. They must have amazing parents to be raised with a lifetime of harmony. What a gift to themselves and us, too.
So cute, keeping such great time snapping their little fingers
They've known hard times. They've known good times. I loved and still love their songs. It's been a long ride for them. My heart is sore seeing the BEE GEES now. ❤❤
Genuinely gifted. Unlike today perhaps!
This was their first TV appearance in 1960 Australia. Barry about 13 and the twins 10.
Right! Aug. 1960 Barry was 13 11months
Talent and passion...a great combination 🎶
I prefer the Bee Gees over the Beatles every time!
To je nádherné 🤗🤗🤗 a roztomilé...🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️ Děkuji 🇨🇿 z Česka
C'est magnifique ,ils étaient tout jeunes ❤
It's incredible they'd be the biggest stars of Disco!
They created Disco; but have sung and evolved through many genres of music. I loved their pre-disco ballads best.

Three absolute musical geniuses.
I think these kids might have a future in music!
That's right 😂.
Yes they sure did!,
They were so talented from such a young age! And they couldn't be any cuter. ❤❤❤
Amazing how Barry just uses an open tuning and moves one finger up and down the neck to create the different chords. Basically, he didn't know how to play guitar. But look how effective that simple technique was. Genius. Pure genius.
Actually, that is a ukulele. The two are easily confused, the pedals on the guitar are made of Teflon. That's how I distinguish the two.
Vdd!
Including themselves perhaps, you know? I was a metal and punk kid in the 70s. The Bee Gees were an easy target to mock then. But honestly they are magnificent.
OMG! They were sooo cute! Brilliant!
Great video ! How talented these boys were from such a young age. One can notice Barry's changing voice , and Robin & Maurice's splendid choruses. Thank you for sharing.
Adorable!! ❤❤❤
Wow no idea they started so young! ❤🎉
Not long after, Barry had his first songwriting contract.
Such natural God given talent❤️. Beautiful!
I never would’ve guessed that they were in music business since being very young !!!
Priceless! Always loved the Bee Gees.
Had their albums when I was their age here.
Maurice and Robin passed but their music is forever.
And Andrew too
Those boys were always adorable ❤❤❤😊
awwwwwww how cute! Even at a young age you can hear that sound develop....
For his age here, Barry is an exceptional rythym guitarist!
Back before their voices changed - and of course before their voices changed back :-)
I was born on this very day! So long time ago...
It seems strange that this predates the earliest Beatles tv appearances. It’s very good and self penned too!
Self penned? You mean they wrote that song? Holy mackerel.

❤ Pure Talent
I'd like to pinch the cheeks of the twins! They're so cute. They were still babies here ❤️❤️❤️
these guys were born writing songs and singing!
Next to Paul McCartney, Barry Gibb is in Guinness for second most successful songwriter commercially.
I love both Beatles and Bee Gees. Soundtrack of my life.
Amazing, I didn't know about this video!!
The harmonizing has a country and western feel.
I was never a BeeGees fan, and I never thought anything about them other than disco. But this was fantastic! And they all have the same wonky buck teeth.
Wow! They were so young. We visited my Grandparents in Nürnberg Germany in '68 and a neighbor girl kept always talking to me about the BeeGees. She was 14 and I was 9. Here in the states my friends and I were into The Monkees and I'd never heard of the BeeGees. Robin and Maurice had to have still been teenagers with their first big hit. I thought they looked like grown men and their music sounded "grown up."
You could see their talent from very early age.
I never tire of watching this. Gifted brothers. Perfectly pitched harmonies. Amazing. ❤❤
Grandes talentos desde niños,mi grupo favorito
Love it!! How time flys!!!
They make me smile every time! Barry's voice were changing !

Greetings from Peru 🇵🇪.
@@juanita6479 it wasn’t far off! You can distinctly hear the breaks when he is speaking but not when he is singing. He was about three weeks short of his 14th birthday here.
This was broadcast in August 1960.
@@juanita6479 spot on.
It was August 12, 1960, when the three brothers were invited to sing on the Desmond and the Channel 9 Pins Australian variety show.
At the time, Barry was 13 years old - a towering teenager beside twins Maurice and Robin, who were only 10 years old.
And yet their harmonies sounded just as wondrous as they did for the decades of music that followed, as they performed an original song penned by Barry, 'Time is Passing By'.
Talk about being born to sing and perform...
😢we receive good feelings and memories watching and hearing the little B-G' S, We all die some day, but hoping to see many in resurrection day , And then and there will be no more tears , no sorrow, So come on B'G'S Lets sing along together now.🙂
OMG, that's string. Barry's using laundry line as a guitar strap! Bless.
OMG I had to go back and check that! How amazing!
They were pretty poor back then, & often didn't even have proper nutrition. Many have said that Barry single-handedly pulled the family out of poverty.
