Dogs need a very specific amount of calcium and phosphorus every single day your homemade diet is sorely missing those nutrients. You should add a supplement called balance it it will make your meals complete
No white rice? The information I read was brown rice is too rich for dogs and they cannot digest. Dogs are not humans and their digestive system is quite primitive simply because they are carnivore.

I make homemade food for my dog about every three days. I start with casserole dish, add a cup of rice and. Cup and a half of water, add two good size chicken breasts or ground turkey and sprinkle in the diced vegetables. Cook it at 350 for 1 hour 30 minutes. It comes out great every time. I use frozen meat so you could reduce the cooking time. I add a fresh egg each morning over the top. He loves it. I have also heard that flax is good to add so I plan to do that. I give my dog a probiotic every day too. When we have salmon, I always share a bit with my dog.
@@mimimeme2044 I haven’t tried plain, yogurt but I buy a plain one with no added sugar that I use for recipes. I will give that a try because it would also be a good protein and probiotic source. I use sweet potato and carrot in his food but no more than 1/2 cup because of his sensitive digestive tract.
In Australia some butchers make "pet mince" which is leftover meat they have not sold and minced up. Very cheap. I brown off the excess fat and mix it with cooked rice and cooked frozen mixed vegetables. Dogs love it and its cheap. Dogs in beautiful condition and vet said same. Vet said dogs need vegetables as well as meat. As the meat is not exactly "fresh" it will go off quickly so I freeze after cooling and take it out the night before.
I cook for my dog now as after he picked up a bacterial infection (salmonella) I wondered just what was going in his food. He never seemed to put on weight and was very picky with his food. But now I feed him on chicken, beef and fish with either butternut squash or sweet potato and celery. He hates rice so I give him a little pasta with some fresh parsley, a sprinkling of Boswellia (with turmeric) His appetite has improved enormously and he’s put on 4 kilos! He’s now a good healthy weight.
Great video, thank you. There is a very popular dog in a country called Portugal, and he has the record for being the oldest dog alive. If I remember correctly, he is about 30 years old, and his owner credits his longevity to eating home cooked meals. That is all he feeds his dog.
@Sitori, that is awesome that you researched it and read about it.👍 That is absolutely true; homemade meals are a lot cheaper and, without a doubt, the only healthy option.
I totally believe it. When we got Oliver, we switched him to the carnivore diet, he gained weight in a healthy way, thicker hair brighter eyes and more energy If I had to feed him commercial food I don't think he would eat it.
So glad I found your channel. I've been trying to figure out how to get my dogs completely off commercial food without robbing them of essential minerals and vitamins. I feed a mix of dry/wet commercial (highly rated, limited ingredient brand) breakfast and home cooked dinner. (Sorry, but just can't go raw.) Your videos and guides have eased my fear over failing to make every recipe complete and balanced. Thank you so much! Shame to see the "hamburger and rice" UA-camrs get 1000s of views. For the sake of malnourished dogs, hope they find channels like yours.
I also have been doing this for a couple of years--at first I was very concerned Abt getting it perfect but I saw a comment that said that all people used to feed dogs in the "old days" was table scraps and the dogs did ok and that's how I remember it too so I just relaxed! I also cook it because of the warnings on every meat package Abt safe handling of raw meat--especially raw chicken--you'd think it was haz mat! No need to be DOGmatic Abt it imo. So great so many dogs have people with the concern (and time) to look after their dogs this way!
Hey, C Dubyuh, I too was turned off with the "raw" food diet. But when I got the nerve to try preparing and feeding it to my little Yorkie puppy and saw how much she loved it, I've never looked back. It may be a little gross for some owners but when you see how much it DOESN'T gross THEM out, how much they enjoy it, and all the health benefits it gives, you pretty much have to put your "feelings" about raw food aside and just go ahead with it! And also, as far as bacteria and the cleanliness of it all, if you handle it correctly and take all the same precautions you do when you prepare to cook raw foods for yourself (that is, if you're not a vegan/vegetarian), you'll do just fine! 🙂
I started cooking for my dogs in 1985, after attending a Health Fair and visiting a booth promoting healthy homemade food for dogs. I had all kinds of different rescue dogs, (anywhere from 3-7 of them at the same time). They all loved every part of the meal, the veggies, meat, sweet potatoes, egg, etc. Never had a picky eater among any of them. One of them, a bull and terrier, would never fail to thank me after every meal. Wherever I happened to be in the house or yard, he would come up and give me one small dry 'kiss' on the hand. I also avoided giving them poison injections (the v word).
@@rdstobbart That's so sweet. We don't deserve them, but as long as we have them, we should be doing all we can to make their lives happy, in thanks for their devotion.
@@taminorman1673 Hi, yes. But after watching Cam's videos, I've been giving her a small amount of raw grass fed ground beef. She goes for that first. So I think she loves it!
@tami I cook chicken w sweet potatoes or rice mostly. U can also use some squash n there and other veggies. I also do beef sometimes w the rice or sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes keep them regular which is good. It’s not hard. U can even buy a rotisserie chicken and have urself one meal from it and then prepare it for them. 😁🐶 I hope u try it!
That is because he instinctively knows they are not good for him. Legumes have a lot of irritating proteins termed Lectins that are not good for the GI tract, especially for carnivores. Their taste buds have evolved to guide them in the selection of species appropriate foods. True, canids can survive on human, omnivore food if necessary or fodder in the wild but they are designed to eat prey at the top of the food chain. This new trend to add legumes rejected from the human food supply to dog kibble is really bad. The excess legumes change the GI flora in a way that degrades a dog's health. Species appropriate flora can only flourish in the gut of a species appropriately fed canid. The appropriate microflora makes short chain fatty acids that nourish the GI lining directly and are also absorbed to nourish other tissues. When the GI lining is denied these fatty acids it can't perform to absorb other nutrients efficiently and there is a bad, cascade effect on health. Additionally, the species appropriate microflora makes various B vitamins and probably vitamin D and K. Interestingly, wild wolves and other carnivores are vibrantly healthy when hunting is good and that is all without any vitamin supplements.
Great information. Thank you. I would also add the cooled meat broth to the dog's food. It would be a waste to not use it. If you dry the eggshells just naturally they crush much easier and then you can bag them up to add to the food as needed. I do this for my chickens. :)
Started feeding our two wonderful and very loved dogs home made food about a year ago. We have a Jack Russell and a Greyhound Lab, both filled with love and spectacularly beautiful so why wouldn’t I feed them the best? I’m always looking for advice so thank you! I will download your diet suggestions etc. and look forward to incorporating them into what is now both of my pups favorite time of the day. Poppy, our greyhound lab always loved food, but I denied that pleasure to my poor Winston until I stopped feeding him brown pellets! They still get kibble occasionally, and now it’s a bit like all fast food, it’s ok every once in a while, but Mom’s food is the best!! Thanks again, your advice is much appreciated!
I've seen so many videos. Yours seems to be a microcosm of them all. The great part is that we shouldn't give our dogs complete meals every day. Tonight, I fed my dog what I had 93% ground beef , egg, and half shell. 1/2 can of sardines in oil, a little olive oil, a little coconut oil, about 1/2 Oz of fresh spinach, sunflowe oil. I left sweet potatoes out. I blended these ingredients and made 2 large patties then cooked them just to war😢m the upz
Both of my dogs recently got sick eating the dog food I was buying for them. No more! I’ve started making food for them. I’m glad this video showed up in my feed I need all the help I can get. Just want to keep my dogs healthy.
I've made this today for my 13 year old dog that has really bad stomach problems and stinks out the house on the daily. Minus the egg and carrots as they always seem to give him diarrhea. Brought some kefa yoghurt to give him in the mornings too after your other videos luckily he loves yoghurt anyway
I've been preparing homemade for my dog 4 years 7 months now with great health results compared to feeding kibble. I alternate between 2 supplement brands, but was curious about the supplement pack you have in the video. Is it a complete daily supplement; I know it doesn't cover all needed calcium.
Great advice. The other recipes I see on YT have powder additives, and it makes sense that doggies don't need that stuff every meal. I like how you grate the veggies, too. Because of the high cost of dog food, I've been reducing kibble (so expensive!) to bare minimum, and giving doggies raw meats on sale (or) that I often cook up with (home made) bone broth and veggies. Or, I mix some oatmeal with green beans and sweet potato to make more of a mush. I hear onions are toxic, but I was a little worried about mushroom? Is that safe?
Great instructions - can you please let me know what is the name of the Packet Nutrition you r using…. Thank u - I have a very fussy picky eater, 4 yrs old - tried almost every brand of Kibble, soft food & freezer dried raw food in the pet store & have yet to find something she will eat - will try ur home made recipe. Thx again.
I would love to get away from commercial dog foods. Every time you turn around, something is getting recalled! Thank you for this video and the guide. Never thought I would be cooking for my Muttley Crew, but apparently, I am about to start! Thanks again.
The Guiness Book of World Records just named the new world's oldest living dog. He is 31 years old and his human said he feeds him human homemade food NOT the commercial disease causing crap.
That looks like a great meal, and I am sure my dogs would love it, but unfortunately I have six medium to large ones and that would bankrupt me! I will however ad some of those ingredients to the pasta, chicken and vegetables I currently cook for them.
Hello been watching a lot of your dog food reviews And I was just wondering if you could please make a video on What dried dog food brand you would recommend or if you could just tell me what you would recommend for a dachshund please
IMO its prolly fine to leave them on, as the video says you shouldn't be giving carbs to your dog everyday anyway. Potatoes contain solanine which is concentrated in and near the skin and shoots. Too much is toxic. In any case sweet potatoes don't have solanine to worry about as they are not actual potatoes.
My dog just turned 7. I've been slowly transitioning him off of Royal Canin Low Fat veterinary diet to home cooked. I also tried this recipe As much as I want him off the Royal Canin, his bowel movements haven't been the same and he goes less during the day. He usually went 2X per day. Now it's once and they are a bit softer and narrower. I am going to get him back on the Royal Canin and add home cooked to see if his poop improves.
The dog is probably pooping less because it's better quality food and the dog is absorbing and digesting all the nutrients and goodness. It's normal. You could add a bit of rice or oats to bulk the meal up and firm the dogs stool.
@@garyrobinson8665 Exactly. They don't need to poop 2x a day. Feed them meat, vegs and rice. Make sure there's organic beef liver or chicken liver in their food in small amounts. They will thrive.
I found my dogs poop less when they are on homemade foods and I can’t be more happy. Kibbles make them fat and the excessive starch just makes them pooping a lot.
I have given my dogs home cooked food for years. I also give sardines in water 2 to 3 times a week. My current dog has blueberries as a treat and unsalted rice cakes plus raw carrot and broccoli. He also has raw yellow and orange peppers banana and apple. My previous dog lived to 20. It makes me sad to see dogs fed dry biscuits day in day out. How would you like to eat dry cornflakes at every meal. What was the brand he used as a topper on his meal?
Hiya Cam, can I cook the chick & liver in the oven instead? Is their a reason you boiled the meat in this one? (I usually give my dog cooked food not raw) 😊
I do raw food but, as you say sometimes they will ignore the veggies. I make gorilla milk to pour over those. It varies what I put in the milk but there are videos with recipes for it. I usually just blend up my veggies with some broth/ milk with an egg, some liver, gizzards or heart, fish oil, and pumpkin seeds with mine.
That meal looked good enough for a human to eat 😂 I'm definitely trying this one out for my little pooch. I'm seriously second guessing those cardboard bits like Purina.
So glad you exist 😭🙏 please continue making more vids sir!!! 💯💯💯 just one question if you don’t mind - can I use the same recipe for my dog with kidney disease (high creatinine)? Thank you 🙏
That’s a great question for you dogs Vet. They’d definitely know the medical implications (or could find out). Our dental vet seems to be VERY knowledgeable on food.
This is a good guide. I'll use it as a start for my 13-year-old terrier mix. Of course, she does not tolerate chicken or port, so will look at other meat options.
Thanks for all of the information. Considering the cooked vs. raw video where you discussed cooking causing meat to denature, why do you opt to cook it yours?
Hi there, cooking meat causes proteins to denature, which changes its texture and flavor. I choose to cook meat for several reasons: it enhances safety by killing harmful bacteria, improves digestibility, and often enhances flavors through caramelization and Maillard reactions. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much for all of your amazing videos!! 👏 you are wonderful so informative and helpful. Do you have any recipe videos for meals to make for bladder stones?
My bichon had recurring bladder stones. Passwan is inexpensive and available at Chinese pharmacies. I ground the black pills with a mortar & pestle, then mixed with chicken broth to make a ‘dark brown gravy’ that I added to his home cooked meal just prior to serving. His bladder stones completely disappeared. It impressed my vet!

I actually feed my dogs canned tuna for a change once a week. I cooked the veggies and rice and pasta and add 2 big cans. They love it. As I have 4 dogs I cook for them every week.
Why cook it ? I have been feeding my dog raw 1-2 lbs daily chicken quarters, liver, spleen, sweet potato, broch, sardines, beef ribs, chicken feet, beef heart. for 2 years and it amazing how his body looks and he is a machine on all our mountain hikes which range from 3-10 miles daily (Malamute/Husky) 90 lbs.
Hi. I have been following you for a while but I would love some recipes please for dogs with severe allergies. My 4 frenchies are allergic to chicken, beef, white fish, gluten & pumpkin, so I mainly give them lamb, salmon, Turkey or duck however duck and lamb can sometimes be too rich. So can you do a allergies recipe please? Thankyou! 😊
Try vegan pet dry food it’s good for allergies, I’m not suggesting your dog goes vegan. I just recommend the dry food or a kibble that has salmon in it.
That is a complete meal .... you have chicken , livers, vegetables ,you add fish at the end for omega.. and cranberries , oils.., and so on... what is missing to not be a complete meal?.. probiotics??? I would suggest all of that but boil chicken legs add the liver while boiling add veg and egg at the very end . Then keep all that's in the saucepan as a broth.. chicken bone broth is very good.😊

Hi, I love your show. I live in Chelsea, NYC, USA. I am a huge dog lover! Question; I noticed you use boiling water vs. cooking in a pan with oil, to cook meats. Is there a particular nutritional reason you use boiling watering? ~Craig Mitchell
He did say it was lean meat so it's probably too lean to fry or sauté without adding oil, boiling it is a much healthier way to cook than frying so, l assume that's the reason. He adds raw oils at the end which is also a much healthier way to eat them. I personally wouldn't have wasted the cooking water and would have used it to cook rice or the sweet potatoes he mentions. Bet, we're feeding a Great Dane Mastiff Cross who eats a kilo of food at dinner alone so, rice is a pretty essential part of dinner here.
In one of his other videos he fried with hemp oil. Not sure why the difference in cooking but my guess would be the other meal was primarily beef with added chicken and organ meat. Perhaps primarily chicken meals are better boiled versus fried.
🔷🇫🇷☕️💜Thank you for all the information. But Some dog nutritionist mentioned that raw egg has certain bacteria which could be dangerous for dog. I am confused...
Cam : does y our added topper & fish/sweet potato, make this a "complete" dog meal, which you advised against?? I want a daily food and am getting your guides you've offered (TY).
It looks wonderful however my dog has had digestive issues and refuses home cooked food that I make for him all the time, especially with veggies. I resorted to hand feeding the same protein. Any suggestions for very picky dog?

My girl is very afraid of even going to the groomers, she keep hiding under the chair for days after visit to the groomers 😅 That's why I'm worried of what will happen if I bring her to spay but I heard spaying will prevent certain diseases 😢
Why cook the meat? My dogs (all six of them) love it raw and are super healthy. If we are trying to get more natural, in nature canines eat it raw. I do love all the ingredients you are using!

I use sweet potato and carrot in his food but no more than 1/2 cup because of his sensitive digestive tract.
Salmon is the ultimate treat for my dog
Hi Karen I do the same for my dog every 3 days☺️I boil chick breasts and beef mince for 15 mins that's it,plus been beans,eggs,carrots..
@@FighterPilot1945 I think it makes a big difference in their health and I know my dog enjoys every bite unlike commercial dog food.
Helpful hint. Clean and let air dry your organic egg shells. They crush into little bits much much easier
Does it work to crush them with a hand blender, or do they need th roughage please.?
In Australia some butchers make "pet mince" which is leftover meat they have not sold and minced up. Very cheap. I brown off the excess fat and mix it with cooked rice and cooked frozen mixed vegetables. Dogs love it and its cheap. Dogs in beautiful condition and vet said same. Vet said dogs need vegetables as well as meat. As the meat is not exactly "fresh" it will go off quickly so I freeze after cooling and take it out the night before.
Rice I stay away from I do sweet potato instead
I just read about that. The dog is 31 yo. Homemade food is cheaper, too.
This dog passed recently, but there’s other dogs living in Australia, and other places that are old too.
Hi what is the v word? thank you
@@sniffyd1 I try not to use it on this platform, as certain things get bounced off so may not be seen. It's vaccines.
My Cava-Tzu after a good meal comes to me with the same sock and gives it to me. I think its her way of saying thank you. Never fails to do it.
@@rdstobbart That's so sweet. We don't deserve them, but as long as we have them, we should be doing all we can to make their lives happy, in thanks for their devotion.
Your comment filled my heart with joy. What an amazing person you are 💖 I wish there was more people like you 💖
I've been making my dog's food for 6 years. She's doing great! Thanks for this guide! I'll def incorporate it into her meals.
Hi is it cooked?
@@taminorman1673 Hi, yes. But after watching Cam's videos, I've been giving her a small amount of raw grass fed ground beef. She goes for that first. So I think she loves it!
So I've been trying to get your free guide and recipes but everything says did you have to pay for it. So where is the free guide and recipes?🙄🤔
I’ve cooked for my dogs for years. They r so healthy. I’m happy peeps are doing this! Ty!
What do you cook?
@tami I cook chicken w sweet potatoes or rice mostly. U can also use some squash n there and other veggies. I also do beef sometimes w the rice or sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes keep them regular which is good. It’s not hard. U can even buy a rotisserie chicken and have urself one meal from it and then prepare it for them. 😁🐶 I hope u try it!
Tami I forgot I also will give her some raw beef whenever I can. She loves it.
My shepherd would roll the peas out of is mouth..after a nice bowl of mixed food there was a handful of peas left..😊
@treasuretrovel3816 I did not know that.. interesting Info thanks!
Great information. Thank you. I would also add the cooled meat broth to the dog's food. It would be a waste to not use it. If you dry the eggshells just naturally they crush much easier and then you can bag them up to add to the food as needed. I do this for my chickens. :)
Nice! Thanks for sharing your additional tips!
Beef heart. Poach in water to medium rare. Really nutritious and dogs love it.
A balance diet is enough variation over time, simple!
thank you so much ! you are the best !
Both of my dogs recently got sick eating the dog food I was buying for them. No more! I’ve started making food for them. I’m glad this video showed up in my feed I need all the help I can get. Just want to keep my dogs healthy.
Love to hear it! I have a recipe e-book on my website you should check out too. Keep up the great work
I've made this today for my 13 year old dog that has really bad stomach problems and stinks out the house on the daily.
Man I love how Magneto finally made a youtube channel about dog food. Suits him so well
haha wtf?
Great instructions - can you please let me know what is the name of the Packet Nutrition you r using…. Thank u - I have a very fussy picky eater, 4 yrs old - tried almost every brand of Kibble, soft food & freezer dried raw food in the pet store & have yet to find something she will eat - will try ur home made recipe. Thx again.
I would love to get away from commercial dog foods. Every time you turn around, something is getting recalled! Thank you for this video and the guide. Never thought I would be cooking for my Muttley Crew, but apparently, I am about to start! Thanks again.
Beef liver is very high in Vit A, which can cause too high levels. Check that out- different liver has different levels.
The Guiness Book of World Records just named the new world's oldest living dog. He is 31 years old and his human said he feeds him human homemade food NOT the commercial disease causing crap.
Thank you! I am so happy I found this channel
OMG your guide is amazing thank you SO MUCH for giving it for free wow
Delighted to know it was useful to you!
Thank you~!! Your recipes are amazing, my dogs loved it! ❤️
Thank you! I had no idea that dogs could eat the eggshell
That looks like a great meal, and I am sure my dogs would love it, but unfortunately I have six medium to large ones and that would bankrupt me! I will however ad some of those ingredients to the pasta, chicken and vegetables I currently cook for them.
NOT PASTA!! sweet potatoes...rice...never wheat flour
I've heard to add a few blueberries as they are an antioxidant
Wonderful and very informative video!!!
Thank you so much!!!❤️
I love it and started this kind of meal for my dog DO you have any for cats thanks.
Hello been watching a lot of your dog food reviews And I was just wondering if you could please make a video on What dried dog food brand you would recommend or if you could just tell me what you would recommend for a dachshund please
When I tell you, I'm looking at this and salivating...
I add a multi vitamin paste as well as fish oil.
Great recipe. Can I ask if you left the skin on the potatoes? I was told I shouldn’t do that.
THANK YOU for the video. how much, and how often should one feed a semi-active 50 pound dog ?
One of my dog’s favorite snacks is a big chunk of fresh carrot. I’ve always thought it was okay for him.
Dogs have trouble digesting vegetables as it is if you’re gonna give them a vegetable it really has to be finely ground
And it can be a choking hazard....please cut it up
Please recommend what kind of sardines is safe for dogs. Thanks
Such great recipes! Can you please make a video on healthy training treats AND how to transition from kibble to raw 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You talk about stuff being in the description box below but there's nothing in a description box of any kind.
Is the guide still available? When I go to the link, there is just a UA-cam video
Hi. I don't see the free guide!! ❤
Great tip!
Thank you for recipes! I just wonder about feeding dog with sensitive stomach, is anything to avoid in these recipes?
Excellent. You should also say no preservatives added chemicals. Just plain all good food.
I use half homemade and half Victor's dry. Things are crazy out there and l do not want to be totally dependant of either. He is a big GSD
Where can i buy the topper?
I do not see the link for the free nutrition guide with exact measures for the recipe. Can you share the link

Serve all the juice with it. Full of goodness.
This is a good guide. I'll use it as a start for my 13-year-old terrier mix. Of course, she does not tolerate chicken or port, so will look at other meat options.
Glad it's helped. That's exactly right, use the ingredients that work for your dog.
Interesting thanks! going to save and take notes
Do you have a source for the bag of vitamin addition at the end?
Thank you so much for all of your amazing videos!! 👏 you are wonderful so informative and helpful. Do you have any recipe videos for meals to make for bladder stones?
My bichon had recurring bladder stones. Passwan is inexpensive and available at Chinese pharmacies. I ground the black pills with a mortar & pestle, then mixed with chicken broth to make a ‘dark brown gravy’ that I added to his home cooked meal just prior to serving. His bladder stones completely disappeared. It impressed my vet!
What an excellent site to find. We want to keep our Zoe, estimated to be about 2 or 3 when she rescued us 9 yrs ago, in perfect health for as long as possible. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
I just came up on your channel, and it is just what I am looking for I want my dogs to live a long life, so I want to start feeding my dogs a raw diet however I have a problem My GSD's are allergic to beef and chicken, so I have to find a recipe with alternative meats like goat and lamb. Do you have a recipe for special needs dogs like mine? Thank you for your channel, I will definitely watch your videos
Thank you cam for such a wonderful content and spreading the knowledge and doing so much good, i wanna just know what all options do we have on the part of adding the meal topper or the multivitamins pack which you mentioned, can you suggest any natural homemade options as i am from another country and would be able to get my hands on your products..thank you for all the good you have shared on behalf of all the pets out there..😀
I appreciate it. You can substitute our Meal Topper Multivitamin with a natural one if you prefer: Add 1 tbsp ground sunflower seeds & 1 tsp of thyme/ rosemary per 1kg or 2lbs of food and a few berries.
Thank you so much... My golden is allergic to chicken and beef.... is there another meat I could sub? Right now he is on rabbit RC kibble and I augment with fresh toppers......
Then keep all that's in the saucepan as a broth.. chicken bone broth is very good.😊
Hey Cam - your view on nutrition is intriguing. I'm wondering if you might give more details on your background, trainings, certifications etc. I couldn't find any details on your site. @@thedognutritionist Thanks Cam, where did you study canine nutrigenomics? Glad for your experience - we've been dog parents for over 30 years and know we can feed iffy food for a long time before the results show up. I love your videos! so happy I found your channel because I really want to start feeding my dog with real food. 🙃
You are awesome man, thank you!
Thank you looks great.
Does the meal topper and supplement work or is good for dogs with sever allergies?
🔷🇫🇷☕️💜Thank you for all the information. But Some dog nutritionist mentioned that raw egg has certain bacteria which could be dangerous for dog. I am confused...
Cam : does y our added topper & fish/sweet potato, make this a "complete" dog meal, which you advised against?? I want a daily food and am getting your guides you've offered (TY).
It looks wonderful however my dog has had digestive issues and refuses home cooked food that I make for him all the time, especially with veggies. I resorted to hand feeding the same protein. Any suggestions for very picky dog?
Have you tried a variety of meats? Also try grating the veggies or chopping them very finely.

That is all well and good from medium and large size dog but what happens when you have a small fussy eater I can't see my dog eating any of that

Why cook the meat? My dogs (all six of them) love it raw and are super healthy. If we are trying to get more natural, in nature canines eat it raw. I do love all the ingredients you are using!
Should I not add the extra fat from the oil if my dog has being recommended a low fat diet from the vet?
