    My 3 relationship rules:
    1. Let go of loved ones. They will come to you.
    2. Ignore disrespectful people (keep out of my life).
    3. Chase no person. Let them come to you.
As a former clingy empath seeking constant validation, I’m amazed that people are now seeking my attention without even trying. It’s because I never give out FREE attention anymore and put 100% energy back to myself.

Doing the work. 16 months out. Grieved the so called relationship, grieved the loss of myself too. In order to heal you have to feel. Happy to be alone. Unattached. Independent not codependent. Growing and learning, working on myself. I’m just doing me now. For once in my life.

Hope you’re doing well with your new relationship. Just to let you know that after listening to those videos, I came to a conclusion that if you had been in a long toxic relationship .. you will be attracted to the new nontoxic relationship for awhile than you will feel that something is missing in this relationship which is the toxicity .. so you will leave this partner and find someone that has that a little bit of toxicity to make you feel your life is normal to you. The cycle will go on and this is why girls attracted to the toxic men. Then always will say I made the wrong choice :)

This is such good content. Honestly, spot on. Addiction and attachment is the same thing. Addiction to codependency. Loss of self worth, etc. Once you spend time on your own and detach from the codependency and attachments, you realize your worth. It's like constantly adding clean water to a water glass that still has dirty water in it and then drinking from it. Who wants to drink dirty water from a glass? Not me.

I did focused practises for a while. I just affirm or think very generally now. Thanking the universe for solving my long standing troubles and filling my life with miracles. Being grateful for sending me love and happiness. Being happy because I'm blessed.
It relieves a lot of overthinking about the details of our manifestations and there isn't as much resistance.
And blessings flow in and I get what i want.

Hi, Aaron! Great talk about non-attachment 👍. I appreciate the distinction you made between attachment, detachment and non-attachment. It’s like a bicycle riding down a gentle hill on a curved road … pedaling heavily creates too much force risking a crash (attachment), riding the brakes (detachment) creates too much drag and immobility, and gliding keeps you moving forward in balance with the elements. (non-attachment). Happy gliding, everyone!! ❤

Whenever we become attached and then find ourselves in the position where we must let go of something-all that energy that we've poured into the attachment we must then pour into ourselves, from a place of deepest self-love and self-respect.
In my yoga teacher training, the yogic philosophy of *Aparigraha* really impacted me, meaning non-clinging or non-grasping. We all can hold on so tightly to things/people/identity/circumstances, especially those that ultimately aren't meant for us. It's not always easy to do, therefore why it's a continual *practice* of non-attaching, and often detaching 🙏

In this context, it would be interesting to take a look at the concept of "sunken costs". If you have already invested a lot in a person or project (time, energy, attention, money) or have given up something else that was also important to you, then it automatically becomes more difficult to let go of. The unhealthy belief pattern, which is also pushed in society, says that the more you have to fight for something, the more valuable it is. I am currently in the process of freeing myself from this pattern.

This actually happened to me the past few years, after a sudden break. And is now again internally actual as an overview and detach the last strings to this trauma. At 13 my mother emotionally detached from me to protect me from fear of her illnes (cancer). Out of love. But I feit it and I lost the warm contact I always had with my mother. My dad has always been emotionally unavailable. Now 46 and healing from the fear of people leaving me. I've became highly aware of the real me. People see that awareness shining outward. I always inspired in my appearance. Now I start enjoying.

I think there's a difference for men and women. No matter what happens in this life I'm living, I will forever be attached with my daughter. She grew inside of me, lived inside of me and came into this world from my body. I feel when something is not right with her because of the energy we share. That being said, I have found the middle so I'm not on either side of the extreme.

This is the mental body understanding of what the Buddha was trying to teach but there is two other things to consider and that is the emotion and physical bodies. A great book is the Body Keeps the Score.Just like you said you are not looking and building the love within yourself and oh boy you attract many people that want to fill their cup from yours and another relationship ends like the one before. The Buddha and Christ built their energy so much they radiated it. Attachments that one makes to another that ends up causing trauma is will always needing healing but filled cups make more energy. There is a alchemy to love, brain chemicals like that old movie Chocolat with Depp lol. Once you create love bonds and not let it turn into trauma bonds which might mean being very selective and perhaps having none which is often confused with having less love lol.

Believe attachment is apart the human path. It’s our job to use like a tool, balance it out, and not rid it completely. Or how else can one enjoy life? Desire at some point is innate if someone’s hungry needs to eat, to live. Desire for good health forces egotism to workout. Normal. Attachment to healthy concepts is balancing its embedded nature.

I mean, we have to take this things with a grain of salt. I've never shown interest at all on searching love, and all that I got was being 25 and not even had one relationship. Its for sure that if we look maniatic trying to make things happen, nothing will happen, maybe even get worse, but, we can't stay being on the ''im attracting people'' vibe since its not gonna last forever, people lose interest in you if you don't do anything, and that's how I ended.

12:40 most people are afraid to be alone. Which is weird for me because I have only ever had myself. Like only myself for the entirety of my life so I love myself. Getting a little boring - may need to spice up my life here hahaha - but ya I am good alone. Which is why I am sure source as a surprise for me soon 🤦🏻‍♀️💯 cuz that is the scary thing with the green go sign.

I was rejected by a girl who I started to like a lot at college. It's been a year and I still get thoughts of her and the multiple moments/interactions I've had with her. After graduating recently and saying goodbye to her, what I am struggling with is letting go of the thoughts of "I could've/should've done better" even though I know deep down I did everything I could. When she rejected me, she told me she wasn't looking to be in a relationship anytime soon and wanted her focus on school and the other things she had going on in her life. I've been fortunate to be able to still put myself out there to other people but when the times come when I'm by myself, and not occupied, the thoughts of her creep in.
