    The actual problem is worn rings and cylinder walls. Sorry to tell you. I'm rebuilding my engine now.

    Why didn't you use rope to hold the valves up?

      I have seen that done, I’ve just always used air

    How much would you charge for that type of job

      Not really sure, probably just by the hour, and that was about 20 hours with two of us

      @@BRobinson28 and it did not fix the problem, our extra is still sitting here, something else is wrong with the motor it runs great just still lots of smoke

      @@sharpkustoms wow !!!! Yea I changed the valve cover the pcv I still get white smoke 💨 at startup

    Should have kept the fixtures/jigs, prototypes for actual products to rent out or sell.

      I still have them, but found out you can buy the tools for that job, but thanks for the comment,cheers

      @@sharpkustoms I'm currently trying to do that exact job on my 2005 frontier and have gotten as far as the tappet removals. Would you be interested in selling that contraption or directing me to the tool specific to that particular engine? Hope to hear back. Nevertheless, I will forever be thankful that you shared this very useful video!

      Just looked for the fixtures I made can’t find them, I think they got cut up for something else, sorry man

      Cause it was a one time job, don’t or try not to do that type of job very often was my personal vehicle, but hey ty for the comment, cheers
