How to edit (fishing videos) in Capcut

In this video, I’ll cover the basics of editing your videos in Capcut as well as teach you some editing principles so you can make the most of this fantastic free video editing software.
Capcut can be used to edit videos on your mobile phone, on a tablet, on a PC or your Mac.
In this video I’ll show you:
- How to download the desktop version of Capcut
- How to navigate the user interface

- How to make basic video edits and cuts
- How to add music to your video
- How to adjust and edit the colour and audio of your videos

You certainly have a knack of explaining things and I wish I had this video to hand when I first started editing! It all sounds quite complex to start with but editing your video content is really easy, just don't be scared of making a mistake, hitting the wrong button, just enjoy as making and watching your own work is highly rewarding. I liked using capcut but had to stop. When I play back my video while editing and adding music the playback would lag every 2-3 seconds! It was irritating and really hard work! I'm back to making videos on my phone via video guru.

That’s a shame. If you fancy giving it another go then try this and see if it improved things for you:
1. Set proxy in the video viewer window to on. This will make the video playback screen playback in lower quality when editing which is handy if you computer is struggling.
2. Select the hamburger menu button in the preview screen and change the setting to ‘preview - quality - performance. This should also help with the lag when editing.
These tips are better explained in the video. Let me know if it helps as it’s definitely much faster editing on a computer than your phone :)
