This is an awesome coincidence I was at my off grid cabin with my two younger grandsons it was in the 20s at night and Md 40s during the day it was cloudy most of the time the solar was struggling after 3 days of not good solar days lol so papa started the gas generator to power the cabin and charge the batteries and the solar generator we did burn a good bit of firewood in the fire place and had everything we wanted comfortably lol ! I enjoyed y’all’s video too thanks !!

Oh that country is so beautiful! I live to experience deep snow, and where I live in Ohio we just don't see snow anymore. It's good you removed your fishing tent, seeing the water pooling up on the ice, would of made a mess to get it out. Fresh trout is hard to beat, enjoy!!

yeah im glad we did remove the tent when we did bc it would have been froze to the lake the next morning lol.

Hi there , yes I agree !! or something easier to bring the water up the hill, I did try a sled and since the terrain is so uneven it wants to tip over a lot , need to straighten the trail a bit more for sure ,

@@NORDLAND49 I lived in Wasilla back in the day. My friends still live there. I'm amazed at the crime and drug addiction (Heroin and Fetanyl). You also have to consider, criminals try to hide out there. The valley has big city problems.

What type of fuel, besides wood, can you leave at the cabin? I saw the Buddy heater. Did you bring that with you or was it left at the cabin? Do you have additives to the fuel in your snowmobiles for extreme cold?
Welcome to the channel and thank you for watching the video !!
The only heat source we have is wood, but we did bring the buddy heater along on this trip to use in the fishing tent, so we were able to use as a second heat source in the cabin for a while . we don't use additives in the snowmobile , just let it run a little bit when cold before starting to ride it . Usually we don't travel when its this cold but we had some extra time to spend at the cabin so we pressed on and made it work 😊
