Another, ANOTHER terrific video full of HELPFUL content! Shannon: THANK YOU for being wonderful. Using this platform to share the “good” is a GENEROUS GIFT. YOU are a gift to “us”. I really appreciate you and feel like we are friends. Thank you for being my Midwest yarn buddy! Xoxo-Lisa ☺️🫶🏻🧶🛍️
Isn’t it bananas?! 50’s two days ago and 80’s today here, too!!! And I think YOU are amazing! I cannot even wrap my brain around the amount of GUTS it takes to get on a camera! I cannot even listen to my voice on a voicemail recording, lol. And, why is it when I’m at the beach, I LOOOOOVE the 80’s temps?! It feels “chilly” when it drops to 75! Lol. Stay cool, friend 🧡
Great topic as usual, Shannon! I find filling a cart can be helpful in trying to narrow down color selection - being able to put colorways in proximity can help me make choices. Then I can look for those specific colorways to go on sale! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend, my friend!
It's part of why I like shopping/browsing Ice Yarns. Yeah the customer service might be a little gruff BUT they have such a variety of yarns. I can easily handle the cost for a king sized afghan or get some higher end stuff to make plus sized wearables for myself. Paying for the same thing retail is easily $30 bare minimum for one small project.
I would like to be able to browse in person and feel the yarn, but I depend on UA-cam for that now. If I fill a cart and leave the page I find when I go back I really don't want them.
I always fill my cart with the beautiful new self striping and variegated yarns. They are candy to me . But now I go through my patterns and realize that as much as I love these colorful yarns, the patterns I choose and have made are not suitable for them. Bluntly said, I really don't like them 😂
This may be a semantics issue but my habits are Shopping vs. Purchasing. I do it for most of the things I want or need. For me "browsing" is more laid back and unintentional. But that's just me. I mean no correction of your word choices. I love your pep talks 😁
@barbiec4312 understood. what I mean about the difference is, shopping (for me) is looking with ultimate intent to buy. browsing (to me) is looking, just for the fun of it. I'm not fond of looking for fun. I respect your explanation. thanks for the interaction 🙂
Got rid of FB several years ago and life is happier and I waste less time there. Nobody has that many “friends”. Do I want my neighbors to know what I am doing? No! We are friendly neighbors, not friends. Same with friendly coworkers, etc.
I am doing a lot better at browsing... I do a lot of online browsing... That is never what triggered me to buy. When I browse is more of an issue for me.
I love "browsing" EBay for yarn. I love vintage yarns. Especially Dazellaire. I was surprised how many people outbid me. And I know I don't need more yarn.....i just can't help myself . Confessions of a yarn addict here.
I love looking at yarn, in person and online. The consent of browsing is difficult to explain to others. If someone looks over my shoulder and sees I am looking at yarn, they feel obligated to tell me “don’t you have enough yarn”. That takes the joy so out of it. So I hide when I am looking at yarn as if it is elicit YARN. 🤦♀️
Browsing for yarn enables me to enjoy all the gorgeous colours and varieties but not have to purchase because they don't fit my parameters of weight, content or colours.

Hi Lisa!!! Thank you for your support, you’re amazing! 🤩
I don’t know about you, but it’s going to be in the 80’s here today 🥵

Hi Shannon 🤗 I love yarn browsing, I agree…it is relaxing! Could it be considered a sport?! 🤔🤣🥰🧶🤩
It definitely could be for me lol!! 🏆🥇🙌
Hobbi is awesome. I like Jimmy Beans Wool as well
I really need to check out JBW, I’ve heard of them but I’m not familiar at all!
@@ShannonTalksYarn I just ordered yarn from them for the first time for a project and their customer service is incredible.
Yes indeed I love to browse so I can make more educated purchases when I am shopping for a project. Thanks for this great video, Shannon!
You’re welcome Dana, and thank you for watching and commenting!!!
I love looking at yarn...
Me too 😃

Once again, you’ve got me figured out to a T! 😃
FB used to be fun to keep up with friends and family but it's all ads now.
Waaaay too many ads!!! For sure!

I have browsed there soooo many times but haven’t purchased yet!! 😃
@@ShannonTalksYarn It's fun to do considering they supply a lot of places like Hobby Lobby or matching things to Yarnart or Hobbii cotton cakes.

Me too, I abandon carts all the time! 😃
I love the wool warehouse!! And I browse probably every day! Lol
Nothing wrong with that!! 😃

I totally get it! There’s yarns I love in the skein but I’ll never actually use! 😃
Totally get this…

I didn’t take it that way, I think we’re both on the same page! 😃
Shopping=Browsing

Hi Shannon! Great video! I love yarn browsing both online and in store 🙂
Thanks Jessie! I enjoyed your video of taking your Hubbie yarn browsing!!!
@@ShannonTalksYarn you’re welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it! 😊

I did both some in person browsing and shopping today lol. I can’t say one is easier or harder for me!

I’ll have to check out eBay more often!!!

lol that such a good way to describe it, I totally get how you feel!!! 😃
