It's amazing how they play at such a hell of a speed with total accuracy, without missing a single beat or a single note, and with such complex riffs. This band really stands above any other by far in the black metal scene.
I was thinking that before I saw this comment. Also keep in mind Ihsan is singing and playing at the same time and not looking (always) at the fretboard during long distance changes. Absolutely insane. Geniuses in our society are not rewarded while the scum flourish. It makes me sick and embarrassed for my species.
I'm not actually huge fan of Emperor, I find a lot of their stuff a bit cheesy, but that bit around 5:14 leading into 5:31, and also 6:56 into 7:08 and then leading into the final solo is some of the most intense music I can think of. It's really weird listening to it, just completely disarming. Makes me feel really super awake and alive - god, now who sounds cheesy. Hard to describe. Amazing.

Can't blame them for discontinuing Emperor.......I mean how can you possibly top that haha!!
